If he was going to be waltzing around like some crazed dreamer while transformed, he might as well do so in a place he could actually enjoy.
Being a knight of Cosmos was becoming quite stressful and, every time he transformed to patrol, he felt like he was always looking over his shoulder. Prowling a deserted allyway or a dark rooftop would always conjure a sense of imminent danger that creeped down his spine precariously.
This evening, Erytheia chose a different path. He was in the park and it was a place he could feel comfortable in as both the young man Alphonse and the knight Erytheia.
It was as he was relishing the rare comfort he found in his powered state that he found an odd bird on the path. He was rather fond of birds and he knew quite a bit about them. He knew he had never encountered this species before in this particular park.
He bent down and rested his weapon on the ground allowing some incense to spill out from the golden burner. He wanted to take a closer look. No doubt, it was what he had first suspected. The bird was a common quail.
He didn't quite know how wrong he was.
