When Richard returned from his work shift, he would find a certain Hillworth senior on the doorstep of his apartment, sketching the scenery from his viewpoint. Kit had thought a lot about the fact that both he and Richard both had powered forms and it made him wonder just how much experience Richard had had in battle with others. As he himself hadn't had much at all, he had hoped Richard would be willing to teach him a thing or two. He had been such a willing tutor for other things, after all.
In addition to battle experience, Kit wanted to know about why Richard was with the Negaverse and how he had managed to end up with them. Before he hadn't had much time to ask because he'd had to get to school before the bell rung, but now school was out for the day and he was free to pester the older man for answers as he liked. They may have both been of the Chaos order, but Kit still didn't know almost anything about the Negaverse. He didn't know much about their people or how they fought, either. There were so many things to ask; so much he wanted to know.Natsuko-neko ((As usual, please let me know if there's anything I need to change! heart ))

Find the Hillworth student Richard did indeed. As he walked towards his door he caught the teen sitting there and gave a very brief smile that the other would have only seen if he was looking at the right time. His uniform hat in one hand and keys in the other he gave Kit a once over. "Hey Kitkat, something up or just here for a visit?" He asked casually as he came to a stop next to the sketching teen. He then reached around and unlocked the door to his apartment while waiting for the other man's response.
While he hadn't thought about whether the kid had any battle experience, he had wondered why he was with the Dark Moon before. It wasn't what was on his mind right now but Kit would find that he wouldn't be the only one asking questions if he brought those sorts of topics up.

Kit had been too occupied by his sketch to look up when Richard smiled, but the nickname drew his attention immediately and he responded with a dry smirk. "Richard," he acknowledged in greeting. "Don't mean to be a stalker or anything, but there was stuff I wanted to ask you about and I didn't know when you'd be home." He penciled in a few more lines on his paper as he continued to speak, ignoring the other male opening the door above him. "And I wasn't sure they were things I could text or talk about over the phone."
Closing up his sketchpad, Kit stuck his pencil through its spiral binding and stood so he could slip it back in his pant pocket. From there he stretched his arms above his head and groaned as his stiff muscles were extended. "It's about the people you work for, Lieutenant."Natsuko-neko ((So sorry for the delayyyy OTL))

He raised an eyebrow when Kit said they weren't necessarily something that would be talked about over the phone but when the teen continued as he stood up it made sense. Richard gave a low hum in understanding and a nod as he twisted the knob to open the door now that it was unlocked. He had been wondering if the other would have questions at some point and it gave him a good enough reason to ask his own in return. "Well then Kitkat you better come in side, no use asking out here in case someone comes on by." He said then held the door open for the young man with a small smile.

Kit grinned at the sight of that smile and reached out to brush his palm affectionately across the other's cheek. "Thanks, cupcake. Much appreciated." Kissing him lightly on his other cheek, the teen slipped inside and removed his shoes.
"Heheh, with that look you got, sounds like you were thinking I was gonna ask you something dirty," he teased, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited for his host to enter after him and close the door behind.
"Unfortunately it was just mostly stuff about the Negaverse. How you got into the whole thing and became one of their people and stuff." He held up his palms. "And before you try to use the 'it's a long story' excuse, lemme just tell you now that I love long stories and I've got time."

Richard's smile grew at the affectionate response from Kit as he passed by. He shook his head fondly as he followed him into apartment, closing and locking the door behind them. "You asking something dirty? Never would have crossed my mind." He teased back as he kicked off his own shoes
As Kit continued explaining, Richard placed a hand on the young man's back and steered him over to sit on the couch. "I see, well sorry to disappoint but it isn't a very long story after all." He said with a shrug. "I was found by someone who thought that I would be helpful in my ranger position. Why did you join the Mirror court?"

Snorting at Richard's remark about him asking something dirty, the teenager playfully punched the older man in the arm. "Shut it, you," he snickered.
He allowed Richard to guide him to the couch where he obediently sat, but he didn't lie back. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait. Who were you found by? How did they think you'd be helpful? And what kind of ranger? Like a power ranger?" Kit sneered.
"If you're going to be that stingy about your story, then so am I," he retaliated, crossing his arms over his chest. "I met someone who came out of a mirror one night. When I caught them at it, they invited to take me back through. The end."

Richard's smile turned into a smirk in response to Kit's comeback but he didn't say anything to go along with it. When the younger man sat down he took a seat next to him and leaned back unlike the other, crossing one leg over the other. "Some General, they never introduced themselves and were very, very, unhelpful with giving answers. Which is one of the main reasons why I'm part of a different General's team now." He much preferred working with Benitoite in the long run anyway. "And by helpful I mean they thought that me being a Park Ranger would be a decent spot to infiltrate, not that I agree with that assessment seeing how I don't deal with a lot of people in my job, not enough to make much difference anyway."
He rolled his eyes at the sneer and tried not to think about what it would look like if people were running around in Power Ranger outfits. "No, like I said I'm a Park Ranger." He then reached over and gave Kit's side a poke. "There, I elaborated a bit more, your turn Kitkat."Kitomyx Never really thought about who brought him in since he was a hand wave corruption >u>"

"But I mean...how did they find you and what did they do to...change you?" he asked more seriously. "Was it your choice?" He'd thought that only corrupt senshi were changed against their will, but thinking back to how he himself had become a dark mirror senshi, Kit realized that maybe not all individuals would have taken his situation so well had they been in his shoes.
And after meeting Baikal, it seemed not even those of the Order had much choice in whether or not they wanted to become powered soldiers. It seemed that those who were pulled into the cosmic war weren't necessarily all voluntary regardless of what side they were on.
"Right, right. So what, you hunt down poachers by day and steal their energy by night?" the teen asked, half teasing, half genuinely curious about how the Negaverse Lieutenant worked. "Us Dark Mirror Senshi use mirrorwraiths to collect energy, but how do you guys do it? Any magic involved?"
At the poke from Richard, Kit recoiled a bit and chuckled. "Fine. The man I caught coming out of the mirror turned out to be a prince of the Dark Mirror Court. I asked him about it and he basically told me I should probably mind my own business and keep my mouth shut or I might get myself in trouble. But you know me. Instead of dissuading me, it just made me more curious, which made me more persistent and nosy."
He sneered. "So the guy finally agreed to take me to the place he'd just come from called Mirrorspace. And when I went through...I guess whatever was in there thought I'd make a good senshi, because that's what I ended up as."
Cocking his head at Richard, he leaned up against the other man and asked, "Are you not allowed to tell me the details about how you became a Negaverse Lieutenant? Or did you not wanna talk about it?"Natsuko-neko ((Ooh, gotcha. XD No problem~))

"Found me while I was on the job. I was patrolling in the forest when I came across the General." At the question of what had to be done to change him he idley ran a hand over his chest around his heart. "It was by choice, though like I said the General wasn't really forthcoming on the information, it was enough to make a choice on my part. I'm not sure if it's allowed to be discuses with you seeing how you aren't Order but turnabout is fair play. As for what they do to change you into an officer," Richard's eyes locked on to Kit's and he gave a pointed look to the teens chest. "A General or higher shoves their hand into your chest and pumps your starseed full of chaos. Hurts like a son of a b***h when it happens." It wasn't something he was keen to focus on but he wasn't going to shy away from the topic.
At Kit's tease he gave a short laugh and a shrug. "Something like that anyway. Though I will admit to stealing some energy from said poachers if I can get away with it." It was interesting to hear how Mirror Senshi take their energy, having not heard of how they did it before and had assumed up to this point that it was probably in a similar way they those of the Negaverse did. "I suppose it's a sort of magic to drain energy, for Lieutenant's such as myself we have to touch a person to drain their energy, along with concentrating. Once an officer hit's Captain and higher they stop having to touch to drain."
It wasn't surprising to find it was the other man's curiosity and tenaciousness that got him turned into a Mirror Senshi. He gave another short laugh and dropped a kiss to the taller man's forehead when he leaned against him. "Curiosity killed the cat, Kitkat."

Kit's gaze followed Richard's hand to his chest as he listened. The minimum information thing sounded like the same as it had been for him, too, and he wondered if those siding with the Order had been given any more explanation than those with Chaos before they were made to decide.
When the other man met his eyes and then glanced down at his chest, the teen raised a brow. Soon both brows were high upon hearing the process of becoming a Negaverse Officer. "Let me guess. They don't warn you about that part, do they?" he asked with a wry smile. Again, though, he found himself wondering how different it was for the Order side. At the very least, his own transformation hadn't been that brutal.
"Ooh. All you have to do is touch people and concentrate, huh?" Kit sneered. "Guess I'll have to work extra hard to make sure you can't concentrate in bed."
The teenager grinned at the kiss to his head. He wrapped his arms about Richard's neck, embracing him closer as he leaned against Kit. "Ah, but cat's have nine lives. And satisfaction brought it back. Speaking of satisfaction," he continued, kissing the older man's temple lightly before holding him at length to address him better, "how about you and I have a little spar? I never got to see what you could do."

"Nope, though I have heard that some of the General's do warn ahead of time depending on if it was a willing corruption or not." Richard said, giving a wry smile himself in return. He wasn't sure how easy or painful other transformations were, just that becoming a Negaverse officer or a Corrupted Senshi were painful thanks to the chaos pumped into their starseed. He wasn't even sure what to think if it turned out that those were the only two transformations that were painful. It was what it was after all.
Richard smirked and got a challenging look in his eyes. "Oh, think you can do it Kitkat? Maybe we should try it out some time." He didn't say that he would have to be powered to take the other man's energy, it was a given after all, but whether he was just playing or not was up in the air.
The smirk softened a bit at the return kiss and he gave a thoughtful hum at the question. "I don't see why we couldn't. Though we will have to find some place out of the way for it so we don't draw attention." He was interested to see what the taller man could do as well so it wasn't a hard ship to agree to a spar.

"Fantastic. So whether or not you're violated against your will or warned, it's bound to be painful. Oh well, guess it's not that different from certain other adult activities," he noted, shrugging and finding it hard to keep the grin off his face even for a minute. "People sticking things where they shouldn't and stuff. Lucky for me, I went into something instead of something going into me, so it wasn't really painful."
Sobering up a bit, his smile faded slightly as he pondered something. "I was told that Metallia, leader of the Negaverse, brainwashed and corrupted people into joining her side. That abduction and torture along with murder were among their MO's. You know anything about that?" Turning back to Richard, he gazed into his eyes as if he could find the answer beyond. He couldn't imagine the guy as being corrupted or brainwashed, but he supposed if it really were true, Richard himself probably wouldn't have been aware of it.
Kit pushed himself to his feet again and ran a hand through his hair. "Hmm...maybe we can try the park or something when it gets darker? Unless you can think of someplace better as a park ranger."

"Pretty much. I haven't heard of any that were peaceful, and from what I have seen promotions aren't a walk in the park either." Richard said then gave a chuckle at Kit's innuendo. "By your analogy then for Chaos, Mirror Senshi are all tops and Negaverse are all bottoms in some form or fashion in the start." His tone was just as amused as the look he gave the grinning man.
When the topic got heavy again the amusement left and he gave a small shrug. "When bringing a Senshi or Knight over to our side of the war it's referred to as a corruption and from then on the Senshi are called Corrupted. Whether it is just a matter of terminology or not I don't know for sure. As for brainwashing?" He paused and thought over the things he had learned over time. "I don't think so? If you switch from the Negaverse to Order you lose your memory of either being a civilian or of being an officer, the same happens if you switch from Order to the Negaverse. When it's a forceful conversion to a Senshi then they lose both powered and civilian memories. When you don't have all your memories then you act differently." He hadn't seen any signs of brainwashing beyond that personally. "As for murder? Things happen in war. When you are defending your home you don't pull your punches and trust me, Order kills us Officers as well." He said, memories of the invasion of the Negaspace flashing behind his eyes. However he did completely ignore the fact that starseed stealing was still murder since he himself only did it to those who deserved it in the first place.
He shook the memories away when Kit got up and gave him a smile. "If we head to the area between my work and the city there is a space off the road that isn't easily spotted that would work. But the park would work too so long as we made sure to pay attention to any energy signatures."Kitomyx heart Brainwashing? What brainwashing? Nothing to see here, move along. Of course he isn't brainwashed into thinking that starseed punching is ok.

"What?! Even promotions?" Rewarding people with pain? What an odd way to go about things. Not that he was anyone to judge and he knew there must have been more to it than that. Still, it seemed strange to Kit that even people in their own faction would suffer from something that was supposed to be beneficial to them. He didn't press the topic, though.
"I guess so," he snickered at Richard's comment about DMS and Negaverse positions. "But as the Senshi of Change, I'm willing to be more...flexible."
Pondering over Richard's information, Kit realized that even if there really was brainwashing involved, there would have been no proof; no way to know for sure. Obviously people being brainwashed wouldn't realize it themselves and even if they managed to break away from that when they changed sides, their loss of memory would have prevented them from knowing how it was done or if it had even happened in the first place. If you were lacking memories of lacking memories, you wouldn't know you were lacking anything.
He had to admit, the Negaverse certainly sounded like they knew what they were doing. But at least the Order seemed to have the same system in place regarding memory loss so that their secrets were kept. It just seemed such a shame to lose so many precious memories...possibly forever. It was hard to say that person would even be the same without them since they had such a huge impact on the way one thought; not to mention probably made them easier to manipulate since one was effectively robbed of knowledge.
"It's a shame that anyone feels like they have to kill anyone," the teen sighed, heading back toward the door. "Oh, that reminds me...how do the Negaverse fight? I know senshi have magic based on their spheres, but you guys don't have spheres, do you...?"Natsuko-neko ((SORRY ABOUT THE WAIT. Also, I realized that they might not be able to spar so well since Ptolemy uses people's magic against them and Huntite doesn't really have magic, sooo perhaps we can end it soon on their realization that they wouldn't really be able to get anywhere with trying to train? XD Unless you had another idea in mind, which I'm totally open to~))
