Combat Data

Strengths: As strong as she is, she is capable of mobility, even in her heavy armor. One of a tactical mind, she is able to always stay calm- even in the heat of battle. It is ever rare that you would see her angered.

Weaknesses: She isn't capable of using her Semblance for long, since each armor is weak to specific elements, and the fact that the transformation can be interrupted. She also gets easily flustered if treated like the woman that she is rather than seen as head administrator for the military, or a respected headmistress of Atlas.

Weapon description: Wings of Horus is a Sword and Shield. These two items are passed down from the Cobolt Lineage to those who take up the family name, and pursue to extend the family tree for generations to come. Wings of Horus can only be used through blood ties of the Cobolt family, and works best with those who obtained the Cobolt Semblace; Re-Equip. However, When the duration of Dust Usage is up, the Claymore and shield turn back to it's original form. This can also be said for her regular knights armor. While her Semblance is not Active the following changes do not take place.
Both the shield and sword change elements according to which form of her semblance is being used. See example below.

When in Ifrits Flames- The tower shield and sword turns into an earthy stone mineral. This combination allows the user to withstand both the Earth Elements and Fire. However, when the the Shield is in play of defense, it can withstand water attacks up to 2 post duration, and takes only 4 post cooldown. Meanwhile the Sword, as the main and only weapon in play, can only do earth damage, yet While her semblance is active, she is still weak against water."

When in Griffins Wings- The Tower Shield turns into wings on the Claymore's Hilt, which allows flight, and further manipulation of the Wind element. Where the Sword itself is now imbued by the Electricity element, allowing the user to either deal electrical damage or be enshrouded by electrical current as a form of a barrier. The barrier effects only last up to 2 post duration and takes 4 post cooldown time.

When in Leviathans Tide- The shield becomes the gills of the user to allow breathing under water. Meanwhile, the sword itself, becomes lighter for better movement, even though it becomes the element Ice. As long as there is water, the sword can produce more ice with its negative cold temperature. However, this form is vulnerable to the element of Earth, Fire, and Electricity. The effects of water breathing only lasts up to 2 post duration, and takes 4 post cooldown time.

Further Detailed Explanation

The sword and its shield do not have "abilities"
In fact, the shield is just a shield that can block,
As what SHIELDS are meant to do.
and the Claymore is a heavy large sword
that deals normal damage like a SWORD should.
However, if you were really paying attention,
then you would have noticed that:
In the DUST SLOTS there are three ELEMENTS
- Earth
- Ice
- Electricity
The weapon and shield change form based
on the use of these said DUST SLOTS.

Here allow me to take a passage from the
description:"Wings of Horus is a Sword and Shield.
These two items are passed down from the Cobolt
Lineage to those who take up the family name, and
pursue to extend the family tree for generations to
come. Wings of Horus can only be used through
blood ties of the Cobolt family, and works best
with those who obtained the Cobolt Semblace;
Re-Equip. However, When the duration of Dust
useage is up, the Claymore and shield turn back
to it's original form. This can also be said for her
regular knights armor. Both the shield and sword
change elements accordingly."


The underlined part is one of the many
handicaps to the weapon and shield so that;
should it be "stolen" from said character, they
couldn't use it unless they were related to her,
because only the Cobolt family knows how to
wield said items.

The bold part is another form of its
handicap, meaning that Once the DUST SLOTS
duration is up, the sword and shield go back to
normal, and can do only normal attacks rather
than it's equipped elemental slots that it is shown
in said Dust Slots.

Now as for the description of each dust slot usage:
For each one is in correspondence to the elemental
dust slot to her Semblance. Again, referring back to
the handicap as to only a COBOLT family member
could only use this.

Now, if you were really paying attention, you'd notice that
each transformation to the weapon and shield is based
off of rather or not her SEMBLANCE is active.
Again, allow me to quote: "When in Griffins Wings"
This basically is saying that When her SEMBLANCE is ACTIVE
That the further description of Dust combination to her armor
AS SHOWN ABOVE is the result of the weapon usage.

Now, take note, each DUST SLOT usage to the
weapon and shield only states the elemental
effects. Again, let me quote: "When in Ifrits Flames-
The tower shield and sword turns into an earthy stone
mineral." This stats that while in her SEMBLANCE
form of the Fire type armor, the only compatible DUST
SLOT element is EARTH. Allow me to continue"
"This combination allows the user to withstand
both the Earth Elements and Fire." Again, the message
above is describing the combination between her semblance
usage and her weapons dust slot usage.

Now moving on to the elemental law

Fire is weak against Water
Water is weak against Earth
Earth is Weak against Fire

Since her dust slots show only
-Earth
-Ice
-Electricity

It is because it is working along side the Semblance
Element of:
-Fire
-Water
-Wind

So in retrospect:
-Fire = Earth
- Water = Ice
-Wind = Electricity

Now, allow me to continue to quote the same
passage, further explaining this combination,
along side its OBVIOUS handicap:
"However, when the the Shield is in play of defense,
it can withstand water attacks up to 2 post duration,
and takes only 4 post cooldown. Meanwhile the Sword,
as the main and only weapon in play, can only do earth
damage, yet While her semblance is active, she is still
weak against water."

This is only stating that while her Semblance
is activated, and she decides to go a defensive
route, that with the EARTH DUST SLOT in play,
(Earth being able to repel water) She can withstand
WATER based Dust slot attacks for only a SHORT TIME.
Thus the OBVIOUS HANDICAP.

To further understand the combination between her
Semblance and weapon/shield, allow me to use
another quote:

When in Griffins Wings- (Meaning when
her Semblance is activated)The Tower Shield
turns into wings on the Claymore's Hilt which
allows flight, and further manipulation of the Wind
element. (By sacrificing her Shield, as explained
in her semblance, she gains faster mobility through
manipulation of wind thus in correspondence of her
semblance.) Where the Sword itself is now imbued
by the Electricity element, allowing the user to either
deal electrical damage or be enshrouded by electrical
current as a form of a barrier. The barrier effects only
last up to 2 post duration and takes 4 post cooldown
time. (Seeing as how the her Semblance "Griffins Wings"
armor is by far the weakest armor set she has, by applying her combination of her weapons dust slot Electrical element in
play, it gives her a fighting chance while still being handicapped
as to not be over powering. Because again, she is still vulnerable
to all the other elements.)

It basically all comes down to is that her Weapon
and shield with their three dust slots, are only as
good as her Semblance. Without it, it would be useless
otherwise. Here, allow me to use the last one to better
understand that, one cannot work without the other.

With her Semblance Leviathans Tide activated, She
sacrifices her Shield once more to turn them into Gills.
Which explains why in her Semblance form that she
can breath underwater. YET even that has a handicap
of 2 post duration, and 4 post cooldown time. Now,
as for her sword. A claymore is freaking heavy, you
would need proper muscle mass to be able to wield
such a large weapon. In this case, she is using her
Dust Slot element ICE to make it lighter, when she is
under water. Which provides better movement for her
when swimming with said weapon.
And since her Dust slot is the Element ICE it is
weak against Earth, Fire and Electricity.

Earth being able to do normal Damage.
Fire being able to Melt Ice, and if under water,
any electrical current can do her harm.

However, as stated, as long as there is water,
she will always have ice. Because what happens
when you put water in a freezer? It turns to ice.
-Ice is water
-Water is Ice
Thus why that specific Semblance and
her Weapons Dust usage corresponds
well together. One cannot be without the other.

And obviously these abilities are not Infinite. Much
to your dismay of things- It still follows under how
many Dust Usage she has per swings.
So it's not like she has infinite ammo. It's limited
based on the augmented swings, and reload.

The elemental effects I posted are during the timeline
of said swing or use. So, once that's up,her "Ammo"
if-you-will, will deplete like every other weapon does.

Her Claymore and Shield can only achieve these
forms while her Semblance is active. And as such
its VERY handicapped with the post usage for both
making each form not last that long at all.

In any case, IF her semblance is not active,
then it would work like every other weapon would
in correspondence to their Dust element

Semblance description: The user is capable of changing their armor set based on the element. In this case Wind, Fire, and Water. Each armor set has a name, as long as the user can properly call out said name to specific Armor set, the transformation is complete. If interrupted, then the user must wait 1 post duration before trying to change again. Each armor has it's specified element. Look to the list below for better reference.

Ifrits Flames: The armor adapts to intense heat, making it resistant to its own element. Meanwhile, it produces it's own intense heat, making it hard to even come near the user. Even though it is resistant against the elements of Fire, Earth, and Wind types, it is weak against Water.

Griffin Wings: This armor allows the user swift movements, and mild flight. With this armor equipped she can manipulate through the winds to use at her advantage. However, despite being able to be quick on the battlefield, the style of the armor makes user vulnerable to the other elements.

Leviathans Tide: With this armor, she is capable of breathing under water, and manipulate the tides to her advantage. Though she is strong against Fire and resistant to its own element (water) She is weak against Earth.

Character Description

Looks: Fair peachy/pale skin, long wavy hair, wears reading glasses from time to time, and is always seen in her knights armor. Because of her armor is shaped the way that it is, most people, if not all the time- they mistake Rosa as a man, especially since she is always wearing the helmet, and rarely ever speaks unless spoken to. It's ever rare that you'll see her out of her armor, and when she is, she is usually wearing her military uniform.
Personality: Up tight, demanding, organized, loyal, understanding, only speaks when spoken to, holds high expectation to those who work under her, tends to be cold, and rarely do you ever see her motherly side to her daughter.

Background Information

Born into the prestigious nobility of the Cobolt family,
Rosa's mother at the time, was only 20 years old when
she gave birth to the fragile Rosa at the time. In this rich
family, it is expected for the first born to be a son,
unfortunately for Rosa, she was no male spawn.
Her mother was a well respected woman of her time,
while her father is the owner of the main military of
Atlas. On her fathers side, it is required, and expected
for the first born to take on the Cobolt family name,
and take over the military operations. That is, assuming
the first born is a boy. Now, on her mothers side, it is
required, and expected for the women to attend formal
parties to keep up reputation, and appearance so as
to not be mistaken for a lowly commoner. Not only was
Rosa looked upon with high expectations, she had to be
a proper lady like her mother, and her mothers mother
before her who is also the Duchess of Atlas in the
Supreme court. Followed by having to be a well trained,
and disciplined soldier of the Atlas military.


Growing up, Rosa was quite rebellious at a young
age. She always wanted to play in the mud, and make
friends. Sadly, She would always be scorned for such
ruffian behavior. She was never "allowed" to have friends,
only followers. She was never allowed to "play" with the
other kids, only study, and train. During the early hours
of morning, she was required to meet in the dinning
area of their large mansion, where she was taught
proper etiquette in the teachings of speech, writing,
mannerisms, balance, and dancing. In the evening
her father trained her in the arts of swordsmanship,
defense, and reaction time while on the battlefield.


As she grew a bit older, Rosa was permitted to
attend private schools, and further educate herself.
Wanting to avoid the other students most of the time,
She allowed them to distance themselves only after
they had found out that she is of the Cobolt Nobility.
She was never bullied, either admired or feared.
When the young lady was at the age of 16 she was
head of the fencing class, all "A" honor-roll student.
When duty calls, she despised the formal parties,
and be seen as a "woman". Though, behind her
smile, and graceful posture, she was seen as
an elegant figure of authority. And when called
to arms, she would wear her families treasured
armor, and go into battle with her father.

It wasn't until two years later, that she began
her conquest to become the head mistress
of the Atlas Academy. Luckily, her father was
more than happy to help her along the way.
While in her conquest, she met a man
who was one of her fathers top soldiers.
Even though their meetings were always
cut short, they always found time to give
one another longing glances. At the age
of 21, after knowing him for nearly 3-4
years now, they decided to marry. Rosa
has never experienced happiness like
this before until now.


Since she was 16, up to 22, Rosa has
entered the war-zone many times.
Each time, she came back out alive, and
each time the difficult grew higher. She
went to war with other countries, nations,
races, and most of all, Grim attacks. She
was either deployed with the love of her life
or she was with her father as back up. Though,
on some occasions, she would be the commanding
officer to her unit. And that my friends, has been the
highest honor for our dear Rosa. At the age of 23, she
gave birth to a beautiful boy, you could only imagine how
proud her father was to know that the torch can be passed
down to the male linage once more. Of course, when he
would be of age. Rosa raised her son no different from how
her mother, and father raised her. She was a bit more
lenient than they were, and allowed him to be a ruffian
once in a while, and gave him the experience of having
friends, where she never did.

Few years later, she birthed a Daughter who was a bit
more frail than her son. So, Rosa took care to raise her
with ease, and caution. Eventually the child stabilized,
and she could proceed with living a normal life. However,
Down the road, Rosa, and her beloved husband began to
see less of each other. She chose her conquest over him,
and he his own desires over her. It was a mutual agreement
to divorce one another, and they went on their separate ways.
When he disappeared, it did break her heart that they didn't
bother to fight for the love they once shared, and vowed to close
her heart to anyone else other than her Son, and Daughter. She
Would only love them, and them alone with all her heart.

With the final years leading up to the present of today's
events. Rosa had already successfully became the
Head Mistress of Atlas, just as well as given the title
of Head Administrator to her fathers military.
Unfortunately her mother had passed away a month
before, and could not experience the joy of her recruitment
into the Atlas society with such high honors. Loved by
her family, and children, respected, and feared by the
everyone else. Whenever she is called to make an
appearance, it is usually never a good sign.....
