Hobbies:
Archery: Coming from a family of archers, she was practically born with a bow in her hand. Since she was old enough Eva's been learning the way of the bow and is the top ranked in her family, she's managed to surpass her mother even. She's also the only one to use a recurve bow, many preferring the use of a crossbow or compound.

Drawing: In her spare time, Eva likes to doodle in notebooks and tell fantastic stories of brave adventurers out on epic quests. The stories are mostly made up of drawings, mimicking children's books designs. Though they are anything but.

Gymnastics/Parkour: What had started with gymnastic classes in her early years turned into a love of parkour later on in life. She has a bad habit of putting herself in places she shouldn't be and likes to use the heights she inevitably gets into to see how good her archery skills are.

Virtues:
Self Reliant: Living in a rather matriarchal family with a mother who is often absent due to work and traveling (and no father), Eva became the head of house before she was really ready to. Which meant caring for herself and her little sister; from making sure they were both fed to packing their lunches for school every day.
Even now she keeps that same mentality, of relying on herself to get things done, and doesn't often ask for help if she can help it. The house is kept clean, home work is done nightly and never slacked on, and so on. She doesn't need help, she can get this. That doesn't mean she won't accept help if given to her, but she doesn't really go and do the asking.
Now if only people would stop telling her how mature she is for her age, that would be great.

Brave: Having to become self reliant at a young age, there isn't really much that scares Eva. She has no problem putting herself in situations she probably not aught to be in in the defense of herself or others (mostly others). Of course being brave also means knowing when to turn tail and run when things get over one's head and she has no problem admitting that it's time to retreat.

Voice of Reason: Using evidence and logic (and personal experience that involves her sister) Eva is usually the person who would like to point out that the thing that can be incredibly dangerous is not something one should do. She can sometimes go out of her way to make sure those she's with knows that this a bad idea (tm) or that there are better ways of doing that.

Flaws:
Bossy: Because of this, Eva can kind of come off as bossy. Well maybe a little bit more than "kind of". Between having to practically raise herself and her sister, as well as being the voice of reason, she thinks she knows best and is a bit of a know-it-all. Inadvertently thinking of herself as the leader of the group because she's so mature, she tends to boss people around with out even really thinking about it.

Reticent: Eva doesn't really like to talk about herself. She'll give you information you ask for but don't get mad if she fails to tell you something about her that you didn't ask about. ("You didn't tell me you had a younger sister?" "You didn't ask." ) She also doesn't like to talk about her feelings, or really in general. She's happier to just be a part of a group doing the talking and listening to them. This often makes her appear aloof, though really she isn't.

Emotional Insecurity: She also doesn't always know how to react to negative comments about being too bossy or that she seems so aloof because she's not very open about herself. Some times she can get angry other times she tends to just close off more and isolate herself. Having being forced to mature before she was probably ready to means she finds herself feeling like an outsider with no real way to connect to others.


PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Green, like a new forest. ☗ Almond shaped and narrowed.

Hair: Pale blonde ☗ Style is long, slightly wavy and naturally curls at the ends.

Face: Heart shaped face and a smattering of freckles on her cheeks. Fair complexion. She's 5'7" built like an elfin archer.

Clothes: Through out the week she wears the Meadowview uniform with a pair of black spandex leggings and brown leather boots.
Outside of schoolEva is not a dress person and that really sums her up a lot. Her usual style is jeans (boot cut or skinny leg depending on the shoes) or shorts, sneakers or boots and usually a tank top. She does occasionally wear over sized hoodies or tunic tops but it's all about functionality in regards to archery and parkour.
That's not to say she doesn't own fancier clothing, she just doesn't find function in them. If she is forced to wear a dress for any sort of thing, it has to have a slit in one (or both) side(s) or be shorter and flowing or she finds herself feeling trapped with in her own clothing. Though she owns several pair, she is horrible in heels and it's a wonder she hasn't broken her neck yet.

Born and raised in Destiny City, though her mother Elely is originally from France. Her father was American born but his family is heavy in French ancestry. Her father passed away a year after her younger sister Cleo was born.

Her mother is a well known archer and participated in many archery contests growing up. She travels back and forth between the states and France to help run the family business, which produces bows and runs competitions which her mother often judges.

Though she could join the ranks of Crystal Girls with her sister, Eva has always preferred to attend Meadowview. This doesn't help the rivalry between the two.

Her mother's maiden name is Saintonge, her father's last name was de Tristepin. Instead of them picking one they went with both. She usually goes by Saintonge as it doesn't sound as weird as de Tristepin.

Eva doesn't see her sister much since Cleo talked her mom into allowing her to live on site at Crystal Academy. Which is fine by Eva, who remains the current occupant of the penthouse apartment they've lived in since Cleo's birth.

Cleo is five years younger then Eva.

scent/perfume for eva/kaye: Honeysuckle, Bulgarian rose, night blooming jasmine, sweet clove, cedarwood, black tea, and nectarine.

More for myself to remember:

Kaye is an asteroid composed entirely of water. scalding hot water that the main city is built on. like spirited away in terms of the city proper. houses, stores and restaurants make up the city, though the housing is more around the outskirts of the city with the inner city being comprised of stores and restaurants. it all leads up to a large bath house and inn as Kaye is more of a travel spot/resort sort of place then anything.

There are no real exports, though they do sell bath salts and bath bombs that many can take back with them. Many of the shops in the city deal with imports of varying things, whether it is to make their own wares to sell or food items that can not be found on the asteroid. The bathhouse/home of the ruling line and senshi, deals a lot in the form of importing food goods.

The ruling line runs the bathhouse itself as main care taker, and is also in charge of hiring the staff and keeping the city afloat as the economy is dictated mostly through revenue of tourists. It is also the ruling family who can channel the water of the asteroid to make use of it for the bathhouse. It is often the children who run the baths to learn how to control their abilities.

The senshi of Kaye usually ends up awakening as one of the children of the ruling line, considering their ties to the planets and it's water source. When this occurs they are taken off of bath house duty and basically cut off all ties to the family so that they can take their roll as protector without the stress of also having to learn how to rule. There has never been less then two children birthed by the ruling line, especially as it is seen as ill omen. There must always be two in case one is awoken as the senshi, so that one of them can always run the bathhouse.

There was only one case of a single child being birthed to the ruling line and that was in the case of the last line before the fall of Kaye. The ruling family gave birth to a daughter, Cei but none other due to complications in Cei's birth. There came solace in a young, abandoned child that was taken in by the family and named Artura. Having no magic to call the water, Artura was ultimately forced to learn how to keep the tubs clean between guests and it was assumed that the birthed child of the ruling line would end up awakening as the senshi (meaning that some other in the ruling line would have to take over running the bath water).

Cei and Artura got along rather well despite their differences but Cei often assumed it would be she who became Senshi and liked to boast about the honor it would be. Artura rather enjoyed the stories Cei told, about the past senshi from her line and what she would do once she awoke as the senshi of Kaye. Over the next several years, however, the awakening failed to happen.

And wouldn't until dark forces lay siege to the asteroid and it was Artura who was awakened as the senshi too little too late (as she watched Cei die trying to save her). Though she tried hard the unprepared senshi was unable to save her home and watched as the people she called family perished in the flames of war.

She was the last to die.
