It was so early in the morning that the sun hadn't even come up yet. Kit, however, had chosen to sneak out of Richard's apartment while it was still dark in the hopes of making it back to his dorm room before the Hillworth boys were ordered to get out of bed. As he made his way outside, he checked his phone for the time and cursed quietly under his breath. He would never make it on foot. Even if he could somehow borrow Richard's vehicle without waking the guy, he couldn't drive legally yet. That left only one other option.
While he was powered up as Sailor Ptolemaeus, Kit recalled that he had certain enhanced abilities such as being able to jump much higher and run way faster than usual. If he could power up and leap rooftops as Ptolemaeus, he thought he might just have been able to make it to his school on time. Besides, no one said he had to transform just for things like energy-collecting, right?
Having made up his mind, Kit took out his sailor henshin pen and held it up. "Ptolemaeus Power Make-Up!" he called, almost laughing at how absurd it sounded this early in the day when everything else around him was quiet and still. Little did he realize that he had been so intent on heading out and making it back to his dorm that he had left his collar back in the apartment.Natsuko-neko ((Please let me know if there's anything I need to change! heart ))

As quiet as Kit had been trying to be when he snuck out, he still ended up waking up Richard. He wasn't used to anyone else being in his apartment besides himself and the only random noises that should have happened would be if Lexus had decided to roam around while he was sleep. So the man ended up investigating the noise to find the teen leaving. Normally he wouldn't have minded and would have let the kid go while going back to sleep to catch a few more hours before his shift. However just before he turned to head back to bed he spotted the collar that had been around Kit's throat the previous day.
He stared at it for a moment then gave a sigh and scooped it up before quickly going out the door, not caring that he was only in a pair of boxers. None of his neighbors got up this early anyway. It didn't take long to find the teen who was looking at his phone at first but before Richard could get his attention the young man tucked it away and pulled out a pen. The transformation Kit made into Ptolemaeus was just enough of a surprise that he ended up standing then with a shocked look on his face and his grip on the collar loosened enough that it fell to the floor.

Ptolemaeus flinched at the sound of the collar hitting the floor. "Drat." He had been in such a hurry to go that he'd forgotten to look around before making his transformation. He'd just assumed that since it was dark and early out, no one else would see. He certainly hadn't counted on anyone coming out to look for him.
Slowly turning to face his witness, the senshi smiled sheepishly and gave a little wave. "Uh...hey, Richard. Nice dream you're having, isn't it?" He walked toward the older man, his mind racing as he tried to think of how best to fix the situation. He could try to knock him out, maybe. It wouldn't have been nice to drain his energy, though. That was, of course, assuming he wouldn't be on guard after just having seen what he'd seen.

Richard snapped out of his surprise when the Senshi turned around and gave the teen a once over. He couldn't see any holes in the young man's chest and he clearly had a tiara so there was no way that he was a corrupted. The question was, whether he was a White Moon or a Dark Mirror. He had faced White Moon Senshi before but had only heard of the Dark Mirror ones.
"Yeah I don't think I'm dreaming here, Kid." He said with a raised eyebrow as Ptolemaeus moved closer. He couldn't help but tense up a bit though and was on the verge of transforming himself depending on what the young man decided to do. It would be the quickest way to check the others power signature but it would also let the Senshi know that he was a Negaverse officer, not the best thing if he turned out to be White Moon.

"Maybe not yet," Ptolemy sighed. "It would have been easier for everyone if you'd just stayed in bed, sweetheart." He noticed Richard tense and realized this was not going to be easy. "Heh...you must be cold in just those boxers. Maybe you should c'mere and let me warm you up."
If he got close enough, maybe he could get Richard to give him a kiss. Then he could try to headbutt him in that instant and knock him out that way. Not the most reliable or preferable method, but the teen was desperate. Being late for school had become the least of his worries.

Richard narrowed his eyes a bit the closer that Ptolemaeus got. "Probably so, but here I am anyway." He said as he made sure his arms were loose at his side. "Sorry Kitkat, but I'm not getting closer until you explain yourself." He didn't take a step back though as he wasn't going to give ground. His eyes flicked down to judge the distance between them and made a mental mark on just how close he would be willing to let the Senshi get before he transformed himself in return.

Ptolemy stopped, still smiling bitterly. "Smart guy," he commented. "Not sure this is the sort of thing I can easily explain, though. But calling me 'kid'? Really?"
Maybe he'd have to rely on energy-draining after all, then, if he wasn't going to be able to get any closer. Eyes still locked on Richard's, he withdrew a mirror shard to summon his mirrorwraith. If he could keep the guy's attention on him, he likely wouldn't notice the intangible, shadowy creature.

"I think you will have to try, Kitkat, if you want to get any closer." Richard said then gave a small smirk. "Got your attention didn't it?" Not that it had done what he had been wanting it to since the Senshi wasn't farther off balance. In fact it had been a delayed reaction and even then it was just slight complaining.
His thoughts were banished when he caught the movement Ptolemy was doing and he tensed up more. As soon as he saw the hint of the mirror, though he wasn't sure what it was, he ended up transforming into Huntite rather then stay a civilian in case the other was going to use magic. Of course now that he was powered up he could feel the clear chaos signature coming from the Senshi, making him a Dark Moon.

"Not sure why you thought you needed to get my attention when you standing there staring at me already made sure you commanded it." Something was weird. This wasn't how a civilian would have reacted, was it? Things weren't making sense. Ptolemy knew the first time he'd seen a powered senshi, he certainly hadn't thought to be cautious. "You know something already, don't you?" he murmured in realization.
"- ?!" Before Ptolemaeus could even guess at what Richard might have known, the man had made a transformation of his own. "What the...?! You're a...you're with the Negaverse?"

"Meant to get a different reaction." He wasn't afraid to admit. Richard didn't bother to answer the low question, both because he was already transforming and because he only heard about half of the question any way.
"Yes and you're with the Dark Moon." Huntite said as he dismissed his useless weapon behind his back. Hopefully Ptolemy hadn't see it. "At least you aren't one of those invading White Moon." He said with a shake of his head. He relaxed a bit but not completely since he wasn't sure how the kid would react. He couldn't help the tiny smile at seeing the Senshi's shocked look though.

Ptolemaeus stared for a minute, trying to process the information as he ran a hand through his hair. "Huh..." He suddenly began to grin again. "Wait, so you didn't know if I was a White Moon or Dark Mirror senshi?" he asked, laughing in relief. "And here I was thinking maybe you had slept with me having ulterior motives in mind. Luckily it seems like our factions are already allied."
He put away his mirror shard and walked over to pick up his collar from the ground where Richard had dropped it. "Heh...thanks. For coming to bring this to me. Guess it was my fault you had to come out here and see that in the first place."

Huntite shrugged a shoulder and crossed his arms at the question. "No, I've never met a Dark Mirror before so I wasn't sure. It was easy to tell you weren't a corrupted though." He gave an amused look when Ptolemy admitted to thinking he had ulterior motives. "Kitkat, I didn't even know you were a Senshi until you powered up. And if you remember right, you were the aiming to sleep with me." He said with a lopsided smile.
He ended up giving another shrug at the thanks. "Welcome. Wasn't sure if I would see you again so I figured you might want it back."

"Maybe. But you could have been counting on that fact," he teased, referring to his aiming to sleep with him as he playfully punched Huntite in the shoulder. "I haven't yet met a Negaverse officer myself." He circled the other man. "Not bad. Nice uniform."
Holding up a finger, he wagged it at Huntite. "Ah ah ah. It's not 'Kitkat'. It's Sailor Ptolemaeus, Dark Mirror Senshi of Change. Ptolemy for short." Smirking, he asked, "And while we're at it, to whom might I be speaking?"

"I suppose that is true. It was clear just how hard it was for you to resist me." He teased right back, though it only showed on his voice and eyes. "Well now you have." He turned his head to keep the Senshi in his sight for the most part then gave a very quick smirk. "Thanks, and you're very..." he paused and eyed the young man. "Very colorful."
Huntite raised an eyebrow at the finger wagging, amused. "What ever you say Kitkat." He responded though he was sure to memorize his actual name. He couldn't say whether they would meet up again, let alone if they were going to met powered up and if there would be anyone around at the time to worry about slipping to but better safe then sorry. "Lieutenant Huntite, at your service."

"Charming, Antlers." He leaned over to drape himself across the other's shoulders wearily, Ptolemy's chin resting on Huntite's collarbone. "What can I say? I like colors. Mood rings and chameleons change colors. It goes with the theme." He impulsively licked the other man's neck. "What were you going to do if I had been an enemy, hmm? Gore me to death?"
"I guess 'Kitkat' is better than 'kid'," he mused, smirking slightly. "Lieutenant Huntite...very nice. But if you really mean that about being at my service, I'm going to have to take you up on the offer sooner than expected. To atone for nearly giving me a heart-attack, I demand a ride to school." He pointed in the direction of Hillworth. "Without a vehicle, I'll never make it there on time now thanks to you and your...distracting nature."
