The park was wonderful, but it also was rather busy. Being a creature of another power, he could feel distant stars of power pinging off in the distance, like sensing small storms in the wind, prickling in the distance. Wandering by themselves or as biggest specks of light and dark.With the warmer weather, he guessed that more and more agents and senshi would be on patrols.
Wandering himself, he turned when he noticed one singular power blink close by, and it wasn't one on his side. Slinking, he dashed to a bush, and then behind a tree, and following a line of shrubs, moved closer. With the recent battle, he wondered what the other side was doing now.

"Hmm...could've sworn I felt someone here..." the Dark Mirror Senshi murmured to himself, walking into view as he peered about. Hhaving been awoken as a senshi a relatively short while ago, Sailor Ptolemaeus was still pretty clueless about many things and that made him very curious. Other energy signatures attracted his attention and he often sought them out. While he could have said it was to make sure that enemies didn't interfere in his energy-collecting, he would have been lying if he'd claimed that was the only reason. Other factions interested him just as much as his own.
This particular instance had him stumped. He had expected to spot the owner of the energy signature right away but there was no one in sight. It didn't even look like there was much around for a person to hide behind, so where could the have been? Was it a child?
"Come out, come out, wherever you are..." he called, sensing the other moving away. "What's the matter? Don't want to play?"

Out from the shrubs, a voice called out.
"Depends on how rough you play. I'm a tender sort."

Ptolemaeus halted in his tracks, surprised to get a response back. He jerked his head toward the source and smiled sheepishly. "Heh. I can be gentle." The senshi began to walk toward the direction the voice had come from.

With a rustle, a slender white cat stepped out into the lamplight.
"If you do anything unkind, I'll make you regret it. As a warning. I am not particular go corruptions or death."
He then sat there, tail moving behind him in long swishes.

The senshi's brows shot up. "A cat?" he uttered, shocked at the sight of the talking animal. His smile returned quickly, however, and he kept his movements slow, kneeling down beside the feline.
"I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, what with all the other 'impossible' things that have happened," he said, talking mostly to himself with a low chuckle. "With your energy signature, though, I guess I was expecting a human. I'm Sailor Ptolemaeus," he introduced himself politely, dipping his head. "And as long as you're not looking for a fight, you've got nothing to fear from me. You got a name?"

"Guardian." He corrected. "As a senshi, you should know that much. Don't they have guardians where you're from?" He pointed out before taking the introduction. He was polite so far.
"It's nice to meet you, Sailor Ptolemaeus. My name is Arthur. I thought you would be rather upset considering the big fight at the castle."

"Hmm...maybe. I don't think I know of any Dark Mirror guardians, though. Didn't see any in mirrorspace; only mirrorwraiths. Those guys barely have forms, much less talk."
He chuckled lightly. "Pleasure is all mine, Arthur," he said, impulsively reaching out to scratch the cat behind his ears before realizing that might have been considered demeaning to a guardian. Just because he looked like a cat didn't mean he liked the same things cats liked. Ptolemy withdrew his hand.
"I rarely get upset," the DMC senshi answered, "but what fight and what castle? Sorry; I may be a sailor scout, but I'm still pretty new to it all."

"Ah. I don't know much about Dark Mirror Senshi. But a group of knights and senshi attacked the Negaverse castle. It was a very bad battle for both sides. There is hostility much worse than it has been. I'd be careful especially since you are walking out alone. Do you have a buddy?" He asked, moving a little closer and lifting up a paw.
"Cat you continue that. That's a spot I can't reach on my own." He asked, wanting some more ear scratches. It was hard to each with just a back leg and always left a kink in his neck after.

"Oh, huh. Well, that's why I prefer being more neutral," Ptolemaeus said, smiling. "I don't really have a bone to pick with anyone. Unless they have one to pick with me first, I guess." He laughed softly. "I don't have a buddy, but I'm prepared to take on whatever comes my way. Sweet of you to worry, though."
"Hehehe. Alright," he answered, reaching back over to gently scratch the feline. "Wasn't sure if guardians were above being pet or scratched. How come you look like a cat, though?"

"Why do you look human when you're a Dark Mirror Senshi?" He replied back.
"Every guardian I know looks this way. Some even look like you. I don't know how it all works. I certainly wish I was a little bit bigger at times and....had bigger claws. It's very hard to help out when you're this big. Senshi get into a lot of trouble." He sighed, turning his head so he could be scratched under his chin.
"You should make some friends. It would keep you safer. It's not good to walk around alone and it must be awfully lonely."

Ptolemy raised a brow. "Why do I look human...? Don't most senshi look human?" he asked, snorting in amusement.
He tilted his head curiously as he listened. "So you've always been like that, then," he concluded. "I wonder why some guardians look human then, though. Maybe it's something they learn how to do over time."
Moving from the back of Arthur's ears to the underside of his chin, Ptolemaeus said, "So you're guardians of senshi? All guardians like you have the job of watching over senshi like us? Wow, must be tough. Why do you do it?"
"Heh...that's easier said than done, pretty kitty," he replied. "White Moon senshi can make friends with other White Moon. Same with Negaverse. But Dark Mirrors like me aren't as common so it's hard to know who would consider us an enemy or an ally."
