Powered Journals

You must first win a powered slot or otherwise officially acquire the character in shop. Once you have a stamped quest and finished powered art, you must set up your character’s journal in this subforum. Journals are not optional and are required for play! You must have fully completed powered art to post your character's journal here but you may set up a civilian journal as soon as you win the slot and have a stamped profile if the character is a White Moon Senshi, Chibi Senshi, Knight, Negaverse Agent, Corrupted Senshi, or a Dark Mirror Senshi. You can play the civilian side of these characters immediately upon being stamped, as civilians do not need art, but you must have their powered art before you can play them as a powered character or begin doing growth requirements. When you have the powered art of these characters, staff can move the journal from the Civilian Journal subforum to the Powered Journal subforum, and you can update the journal with the powered information. Some factions, like Youma, Mauvians, Deep Space Senshi, and Vanguardians must have finished powered art before they can be played, as they do not have traditional civilian sides.

You must have all official character art somewhere in your journal. You should host the image on your own domain; artist links may not be permanent!

Formatting Your Journal:

  • Your journal title should list their faction, their civilian name, and their powered name. Some variations are permissible, especially if the title reaches the character limit and requires abbreviation! However, the character's faction must be listed first in brackets, and the title must include both their civilian and powered name. You may include powered rank if you like, or other information like Senshi Sphere if there is space in your title. For example:

[Senshi] Usagi Tsukino / Sailor Moon
[Senshi] Jenny Doe / Chibi Sailor Maleeka or [Chibi Senshi] Jenny Doe / Sailor Maleeka
[Senshi] Jeff Doe / Deep Space Sailor Nuval or [DSS] Jeff Doe / Sailor Nuval
[Knight] Marcus Martius / Olympus, of Mars
      [Negaverse] Joseph Romano / Lepidolite
[Corrupt] Kate Doe/ Corrupted Sailor Alcaran
[Dark Mirror] Jonathan Harris / Sailor Selorisa
      [Vanguard] Alei Leone / Aleione

Some rare factions will use different naming mechanics, as they do not have true civilian identities. For example:

[Mauvian] Luna or [Guardian Cat] Luna
      [Youma] Morga

  • Powered journals may be formatted to your liking, but must include the same civilian and powered information you had stamped in their quest. You do not need to link to your original quest; your journal just needs to include the same information that staff stamped for you when bringing the character into play. However, if you have posted for revisions of the character, your journal should be updated to include the revisions and not the information the revisions are replacing.
  • Name, hobbies, virtues, flaws, and magic cannot be changed without first posting for a revision. Your birthday should not change, nor should your powered name or sphere (Senshi) or Planetary Allegiance (Knights).
  • Things like school/occupation, favorite or least favorite food, appearance (such as hair color and body type), or age (to account for birthdays passing) can be edited without a revision provided they are within reason. For example, a child character going to elementary should not skip middle school and go straight to high school without approval. The shop runs in real-time, so your characters should only be aging up, graduating, etc on a real-time schedule!
  • It is strongly encouraged to include your character’s birth year to make it easy to track their age!
  • Your journal should only reflect the character’s current state of being; if you have an approved plot for a side swap, you only need to update your journal to reflect their new status after it has ICly come to play. If you have growth art of a character but have not yet ICly grown them, your journal does not need to be updated to reflect this until they ICly grow.
  • You should log a character’s approved (and acquired) enhancements as well as their abilities. This will help keep track of a character’s full capabilities.
  • You should include a log of any Permanent Items the character has acquired, as well as any Personalized Items.
  • You must include any official art of your character in your journal. You do not need to embed the image, but you must at least have a link out to it. Please try to link to the largest image possible.
  • Feel free to customize your journal with some fun flare! Fanart and other graphics are excellent choices to personalize your character's journal. The shop provides some graphics upon request, including character certs and emblems!
  • It is recommended that you keep a post in your journal to track your character’s roleplays! This can be helpful when posting for growth, as you need to link to completed roleplays to do so! Additionally, if you want to earn fourth stage for your character, staff must be able to track their roleplays.

Journal Flare

  • Emblems: Achievement icons to chronicle what your character has done, who they have met, and what events they have survived. You can request or make your own emblems to share with others!
  • Cert Request: The shops official cert thread! Once you have art of your character, you can post to have them placed on a shop official cert to be displayed as you like.
  • Signet Rings (Knights Only): Signet rings for your Knight. You can either color your own or ask a friend to color one for you.
  • Guardian Cat Communication Devices (Order Cats Only): A communication device for any Order Guardian Cats. You can color your own or ask a friend to color one for you.
  • Senshi Cell Phones (White Moon Senshi Only): A cell phone for any White Moon Senshi. You can color your own or ask a friend to color one for you.
  • Negaverse Medals (Negaverse Only): Any Negaverse Character (Officers, Senshi, or Mauvians) can be awarded medals for their contribution and accomplishments within the Negaverse. These medals must be ICly earned and, while only three can be worn at a time on official art, all earned medals can be displayed in the journal!
  • Starseeds: No matter your character's faction or alignment, they have a starseed. You can either color your own or ask a friend to color one for you. There is no IC requirement to do this and it is just a visual representation of your character's starseed!
  • Henshin Pens (Senshi Only): Be they White Moon, Corrupted, or Dark Mirror, all senshi have pens to power up. You can either color your own or ask a friend to color one for you. There is no IC requirement to earn these, but your character can only use the pen affiliated with their current rank.
