Caely stretched, lacing her fingers together and pushing them forward as she muffled a moan that for whatever reason seemed to want to accompany the effort. She wasn't so tired after getting back from her place of work to go over her lesson plan. She actually didn't have to be at her work site at all, however she valued the change of scenery from usually working on her teaching to-do list for planning at home since it allotted her an opportunity to have a refreshing mix up of her normal routines every now and then.

However, it wasn't time yet for her to be able to wind down for the night. Like her cousin, she was also reviewing for a big exam to put her studies to the test. That they were both on the same career path despite having undergone different educational routes under the same umbrella was of some comfort to Caely. Yet, it also provided a sportsmanship opportunity between them to have some competitiveness they could work with among the things that could add factors in aiding at making their days less monotonous.

She tapped her pen soundlessly with gradual motions as she read the first review question on her computer screen. She noted jargon and tested herself on one word in particular as a sort of icebreaker to this study session: dyspnea. Shortness of breath was the definition that came to mind right off the bat for her. And she pulled up another browser window to see whether her thoughts needed a correction. The search engine she resorted to processed her query almost instantly or rather seemingly so to her and it verified that her recollection with regards to the term was along the same lines: difficult or labored breathing.

And Caely read on, her eyes scanning the rest of the question as she went along with the narrative so as to get a picture of the information in her mind, what the scenario was that she was to supposedly simulate in her brain and analyze to reach an answer, the answer.

After scanning the vignette, she went on to read through the answer choices presented to her. Moments passed, and her tapping of her pen had stilled as well as she considered the choices to pick from. Then, she keyed in her selection and clicked for the next question.

The vignette lead her to highlight another term of jargon in her mind to check on: near-syncope. What she defined it as was fainting refers to syncope in other words, thus near-syncope would mean nearly fainting according to her train of thoughts. Again, she checked what she had processed with a search engine. And the answer that was presented to her as the definition of syncope was: temporary loss of consciousness due to a fall in blood pressure. Caely repeated for review that more precise definition mentally several times before moving on to read the rest of the second scenario she was analyzing at present during this study session. And thus, this was her pattern in general as she worked through the 20 questions she has resolved to endeavor to go through each day for 100 days.
