The shield bearer had his weapon on his back for the time being. Watching Bisera with the Matori had a different set of instincts rising up that he wasn't entirely prepared for. So, he kept his eyes on Bisera. Making sure the other was alright. Once Bisera returned to his side the youth smiled. Slipping his arm out of the hug to draw Bisera into his side.
"I'll always find you."

Bisera gave a smile when his friend gave him a hug as a greeting before assuring him that he would always find him, something that pleased Bisera greatly. He seemed to have a knack for getting distracted and wandering off meaning that having Xarn there to find him was a good thing, it meant that he would actually continue to be found. He was glad, the last thing he wanted was to end up lost forever after all. "I'm glad that you did. This place, this city, it's nothing like Mez! It's so big and confusing, I was walking in circles for quite a while until Abie found me." He said, glancing toward where the Water Tribesman had been, then back again. He was a little embarrassed over the fact that he'd been walking in circles for so long, especially since his intentions had been good once. Looking up at Xarn again he said, "I got us some supplies, it's why I went to the marketplace... though I guess it would have been more impressive a feat were I able to get back on my own." He sort of muttered the last part, cheeks going a bit red.

Xarn tilted his head as he thought. The city was big, the market was something else entirely. He could see Bisera getting lost in this place, but then he thought of the smaller male's ability to find the most interesting things. He had actually spotted the Water tribesmen. Then seeing the infant beast on the male's shoulder had him thinking how Bisera could use a well trained guide, one that would lead the male back to Xarn based on scent. That was a good idea. He chuckled. "Its fine. I was out looking for you. I didn't want to lose you here." The male took Bisera's pack. "Uncle has most of the other supplies by now...was there any crafting supplies you needed?"

Bisera gave a smile, "Aww, that is very sweet of you, Xarn." The fact that his friend didn't was looking out for him and didn't want to lose him was such a wonderful thing to say! It made him hug his arm tightly again, certain that if he had a tail it would probably be wagging at the moment. Xarnith really was the best person that he could have met on his journey because he always seemed to be next to him, helping him and supporting him. It made him want nothing more then to try to help him in return somehow... but given he wasn't a warrior it left him a bit at a loss for what he could do. Save for helping out with getting supplies or making him a lot of presents he would need to continue to think on it. "Ohh... he's got the rest of the supplies? That's good to hear, though I am happy that I was able to help." He sad with a smile, a smile that only got bigger at the mention of crafting supplies, "Oh! You should see what I got, Xarnith!" He said in an excited manner as he got out the small pouch of snaptrotter teeth, pouring a couple of them out on his hand so he could lift them up, "Aren't they neat? I think they will make great necklaces!"

Xarn's eyes took on a interested gleam. "Are those from the same breed as the large beauty standing behind the merchant?" he looked impressed. As they walked on he could only chuckle. "Yeah...we should be leaving Oba soon. Uncle isn't a fan of this place so he want's to hustle it on out of here." He shrugged. "I don't particularly mind it...but it could do to be cooler."

Bisera gave a nod of his head as he kept his hands outstretched, letting him look the teeth over for a time before tucking them away in the pouch they came in once ore, "Yeah, they are. I think they are from a smaller one though, the big snaptrotter that the merchant owned appeared to have much bigger teeth. I figured since I already had some large janarim teeth that I should get smaller snaptrotter teeth as a contrast." He explained, looking over his shoulder for a moment, then back again. "Can you believe that dark snaptrotter back there was a female one? It seemed so big that I was certain it was a boy but Abie said it was female!" He was quite shocked by that but at the same time, impressed. It made him want to see a male snaptrotter to see if they were even more massive or not. Would Laqui end up bigger then that female? It was one of those things he couldn't help but to be curious about. Sure, a snaptrotter wasn't something that would be useful to his craft save for the teeth they might shed, but still, he found that he kind of... liked them. After looking around a moment at the mention of leaving Oba soon he said, "I don't mind Oba that much, though I wish the city wasn't as confusing." His voice went from a normal tone to sort of mumbling at the end, still a bit embarrassed that he'd managed to get himself lost.

Xarnith chuckled as he rubbed the other male's shoulder. Since his arm was now around Bisera's shoulders as they walked he wanted it to be clear that the smaller male was under his watch. He didn't realize that it could be seen as something else entirely but that wasn't the first thought in his head. Nope. The first thought was to make sure Bisera wasn't going anywhere any time soon. Xarn hummed as he thought on what to say. "If we find a good merchant...or get information on one in Matori...did you want to look into getting a beast of your own? I wouldn't mind helping with that endeavor. We could train it to lead you right back to me..." he smiled a little at the last line. The thought was something he liked rather well. He then added as a afterthought. "Or...I could get my own beast to train to find you."

Bisera looked up at Xarnith for a long moment, then ahead once more, thinking about what it was that his friend was saying. First talking about finding a beast in Matori for Bisera, one that could lead him to Xarnith. He then also added in the idea of training a beast of his own to find Bisera and lead him back to Xarn as well. He gave a thoughtful sound, his cheeks coloring, before he said, "I'm... sorry... I must be a lot of trouble if you need to beasts to help you out." He had wandered off on a few occassions lately, first to the boneyard and then to the marketplace in Sulburi. He must be starting to really bother Xarnith, especially since he was sort of already relying on him to find him to find him. Looking up at him he said, "I will do my best to keep from being lost until Matori. I have a lot of things to work with so I am sure I could keep myself busy." And it would keep him from getting lost or from bothering Xarnith. His friend meant a lot to him after all and he didn't want to seem like a bother to him.

Xarnith blinked, he looked down then around at the crowd. The male looked over to a nook and pulled Bisera into it. He pushed the smaller male gently to the wall. "Listen to me now. Bisera. You are not a burden to me...and you never will be. You." Xarnith took a deep breath. "You're important to me. Okay. Anything I do...is for you." He pulled the other to hold him close. "If I get a beast to train to find you...it's only out of fear. What if, one day...I'm not able to find you? What if something bad happens? I don't...I really don't want to think about that." He let out a shaky breath.

Bisera gave a squeak as he found himself pulled into yet another nook off to the side of the street they were walking down. It would appear as though everyone wanted to draw him aside into such a place to chat, the only difference being was that Abie hadn't pilled him to the wall. It wasn't in a manner that was hurtful or scary, so Bisera wasn't at all worried. Instead he merely lifted his dark eyes to look up at Xarnith, his head cocking to one side, as the other spoke. It seemed as though he wasn't a burden to him? He felt a bit like one though. He wanted to be useful, to fetch supplies he knew they were running low on, but instead all he'd done was get lost! Giving a soft sigh he said, "I'm sorry." He didn't mean to get lost so often, it was just that he felt himself drawn to certain places, as though his desire to find interesting treasures was stronger then his sense of self preservation somehow. He looked up at Xarnith as he was pulled into a hug, leaning his head against his chest, "I will be more careful and... and if you think I should get a beast to help me then... I will. If... we could possibly teach it to carry things for me too? My pack is starting to weigh as much as I do..."

Xarnith chuckled as he leaned his head on top of the other. "Yes..." He walked back out into the crowd. "Are you okay with me holding onto you like this?" He shifted Bisera's pack on his back. "I see your point about the pack however." He hummed as they walked on. "So...what other items did you have in mind to get? Anything your missing?" He was curious.

Bisera looked a little confused as they started to walk again, having abandoned the nook after their short exchange, "Huh? Why would I be? You're my friend Xarnith and this is... nice. Well, I guess I understand, it is really hot... maybe too hot to be so close, huh? I can scoot away a bit so that you have room to breath if you need it." He offered, not wanting for Xarnith to over heat or keel over because it was too hot to walk so close to other people. Oban was a lot hotter then he'd expected, more so then even Tale! "Hmm... any other things I need..." He thought about it, "I think that I have everything that I need. Right now what I really need is to be able to sit down and actually work on stuff. I have been so distracted for so long collecting new things that i haven't really done anything passed sketching."

Xarnith nodded. "Okay...we're going back to the Inn Uncle got for us." The taller Wind male guided the smaller back. "As for the heat...I don't mind being close to you. That's what friends are for." He blinked as he spotted something....blue...was that blue? His head turned as it followed the blue thing. "Bisera...did you see that?" He asked as the blue thing darted towards their Inn. Xarn's confused face was adorable.

Bisera turned to look at the strange blue creature that seemed to be racing on ahead of them, on a similar path to the one they were taking only at a much faster pace. He blinked a couple times then gave a squeaking sound, "Xarn... Was... was that creature covered in crystals? Can we go see it! It looked so pretty and blue!" He said, tugging on Xarnith's arm for a moment before he went racing on ahead in hopes that he would be able to catch up with the creature in front of him. It was so beautiful! Like nothing he'd never seen before and he definitely wanted to see it closer up. In his race to do just that he didn't even think about the fact that he'd left Xarnith behind, again, and that he'd passed off his heavy pack to him. It wasn't that he meant to leave him behind, it was that he was just in a rush to catch up with the strange blue feline.

Xarnith should of seen that coming. He really should of. Sighing the male followed after him calling. "Bisera! Remember to watch out for Nike!!! He might be waiting for you!!" He sighed again following after the other. Knowing that he would be able to catch up. Finding a Wind male in Oba was pretty easy. The blue dart was a small prezi kitten that skittered under Nike's leg as the Janarim laid waiting for the others. The beast looked down then back up. Xarnith not too far behind Bisera. "Nike don't eat it..." He walked forward.
