Shesha was in a bit of a mood... not that it was all that much of a shocker. His Lady Alhana had been acting a bit oddly of late, making him feel a bit uneasy. As such he was doing what he always did when he was feeling this way, he was out shopping. No way better then spending Lady Alhana's money to better his mood. He felt that it was his due since she was his patron and for some reason she had been ignoring him a bit of late. Yet another thing that he didn't care for. "I am starting to suspect that woman is up to something." He said to the imp that was sitting on his shoulder, getting a little hiss of confirmation from the creature. It was hard to say if Amanita was agreeing because he too suspected Lady Alhana or just because he tended to agree with everything Shesha said, either way it didn't improve his mood, only making him more sour. She was definitely up to something, which made him want that much more to figure out exactly what it was. He somehow doubted that it was anything that he'd like or else she'd be more likely to look him in the eyes when they did speak. Best that he enjoyed their time together he thought to himself, though he might see about packing himself a bag just in case things went South. He could and would find himself a new patron were that to happen. His thoughts turned from his current predicament when he spotted someone familiar, a smile finally appearing on his painted lips, "Ahh, it would appear as though the little fish is shopping too. Come, Amanita, let's go say hello." The fish was exactly the distracted he needed.

Aqio was merely out and about just to get some fresh air. Abie was nearly ready to leave for good. Their Mentor was all supportive about it while the younger twin was confused. Did he really want his brother to leave? Well, that was a yes and a no...Yes because that would mean that his brother was going to take the next step with Incanthis. No...because he didn't want to lose his brother. He sighed shifting his shawl closer around him. His hair was more tame than usual, the single decoration was his braid. His Caretaker had started to decorate it with little clasps and beads. He fingered the dangling jewel that glittered in the light. Lost in thought the slender male didn't noticed Shesha near him...

Once he got close enough Shesha moved to step in front of Aqio, placing himself between the Matorian and wherever he was going before he lifted a hand to catch his chin. Once he'd done so he locked gazes with Aqio and said, "It's been a while, little fish, how have you been?" He was looking a bit lost, wasn't he? Like a little perzi kitten that had lost its mother. It made him seem a little more interesting to him, not to mention that it gave him something to think about that wasn't his home life. "What's wrong, little fish? Is the Beast Lord hassling you again? You know that you could have come to me for protection again. I'd hate for him to eat you up against your will." Though he supposed that the Water Tribesman likely had no idea where he was located, but it wasn't as though he was supremely hard to find given that he was the sort that was on display more often then not.

Aqio blinked at the feeling of a warm hand suddenly just there. He looked to see Shesha...with a small companion. The youth inhaled slowly. Reaching up to remove Shesha's hand from his chin, he then held the Obian's hand between his own. "Its good to see you again as well Shesha. Ah...I wasn't aware of my current surroundings. A bit mentally distracted. Things at home aren't going as I expected." He closed his eyes as he let out a slow exhale. Shesha didn't need to know all of his issues and strife. He glanced up to the creature at Shesha's side. "Interesting creature."

Shesha dropped his gaze to look down at the hand that was still holding onto his hand before he gave a bit of a laugh, "Well now, someone is in a rather sedate mood today." A bit on the boring side if you asked him. He was so much more fun when he was acting all prickly, but he supposed that meant that something was really going wrong for him. Looking around for a moment Shesha said, "I see... well, even if things aren't going well I'd suggest not going around with such a distraut look on your face, there are those who will see it as an attractive weakness and want to pounce. Your Beast Lord being one of them." The man seemed the sort that would look for such weakness in his prey, hence the nickname he'd gotten around court. Aqio might be lucky as Shesha hadn't seen him in the marketplace today, though that wasn't saying all that much. He might be hyper aware of all of those around him but that didn't meant that someone like the Beast Lord couldn't slip by him while he was distracted with others. Glancing toward Amanita for a moment, listening to him chirp Shesha gave a bit of a smirk, then looked back at the little fish again, "Of course, nothing but the most beautiful and rare creatures for me." He said this while preening a bit, a smile on his lips. Of course Amanita was interesting, he couldn't have anything boring at his beck and call after all, that would be far too boring for Shesha's tastes. No, it had to be something like Amanita.

Aqio twitched. "I'd like to see him try something." the slender male growled. He crossed his arms letting Shesha's hand drop. The male tapped his foot then paused. "Shesha...you have an eye for the ornate. Care to help me pick out a few things. My Caretaker gave me a heavy purse and said to empty it. Seems they caught on to my low spirits." He shifted his hip so that Shesha could hear the coins jingle. "Ah...perhaps I could show you a dance I just picked up."

Giving a bit of a smirk Shesha said, "Don't say that, little fish, offering up such a challenge might cause On'os to take you up on it." He gave a momentary glance around, as though expecting to see the Beast Lord now that Aqio was trying to throw out a challenge at the man. He didn't spot him straight away, meaning that it was possible that On'os didn't want to toy with the little fish today. Probably a good thing, he didn't want him to get in over his head, mostly because Shesha himself didn't feel like dealing with the Beast Lord presently. "Hm? Is that so? That tends to be how it goes. Oh, you're not feeling well? You're bored? You're lonely? Here, have some money to spend." He said, giving a bit of a laugh. He was used to it with Lady Alhana, at least of late, meaning that the two of them might be able to entertain one another for the afternoon. As the other shifted his body, sticking out his hip, making his coin purse jingle he gave a bit of a smirk, "Best that you don't jingle too much or else you might draw the attention of the dirty little thieves that hang out in this area looking for easy marks." He warned motioned for him to followed along after him, giving a little humming sound at the thought of the little fish showing him a dance that he'd picked up. That did sound nice, didn't it? Definitely a way to entertain him and get his mind off things he said, "Sure, we can do a bit of shopping and then you can dance for me, little fish."

Dance for Shesha...Aqio thought on why he offered that to the male. It didn't seem like him to want to show off. Though he understood, he wanted a small spotlight. He smirked. "I'm more alert than you think. My dear firefly." there a bit of his own little revenge for being called a fish. At this point in their time knowing each other. Aqio figured that Shesha wasn't going to stop calling him 'little fish'..so he would deal but retaliate in kind. Aqio linked his arm with Shesha's. "Now, shall we go find a merchant stall?"

Firefly? A glittering insect that drew the attention of all those around it when one showed up. A nickname that he would allow since it was one that rather pleased Shesha to hear. He didn't mind so much being called a firefly since they were at least a pretty insect, the prettiest one that he could think of off hand, as well as quite rare in Oba. Giving a smile he said, "So you say, but I was able to sneak up on you and I wasn't even't trying all that hard." Walking forward, his ornate robes swishing around his feet, he said, "I am sure we can find a place to spend all of our money... though it would help if I knew what it was that you were looking for, little fish. Do you want jewelry? Nice clothing? Those are my favorite things to indulge in." He said, lifting a hand to stroke Amanita on the head, "I am sure that we can find you something nice as well my little Amanita." He murmured to the imp that was sitting on his shoulder. He did so enjoy the creature, so of course he'd do what was needed to make him happy.

Aqio was inwardly pleased that the nickname flew so well with his companion. As they walked he hummed in thought. "For now...we'll see if we can find some good clothes. Jewelry will come as I earn favors from clients." it was a form of payment his Caretaker said most would opt for instead of honest coin. He wondered if he should explain his future plans to this being. Would depend on how the day went, Aqio mused. He smiled up at the small creature. Reaching to his braid he plucked off a small clasp that would be a good armband for the Imp. It was a gold clasp with a small garnet inset. Aqio offered it for Shesha's inspection. "How about this...I keep having to make sure it stays put. I'm sure your little treasure up there would fit it better."

Turning to stare at Aqio there was a moment when Shesha's normal expression slipped, looking rather shocked, before he said, "You... huh, I never knew that you were in that line of work, little fish. A bit of a waste after you escaped untouched from the Beast Lord." He gave a shrug of one shoulder, figuring if that was what he wanted to do then it was none of his business. Not as though he didn't do similar things to get ahead in life after all. "At least tell me that your Rider at least looks into your clients before he gives you over to them?" It might not be any of his business but it would be a bit of a shame if his Rider sold him off to the wrong person and that person harmed him or worse, "You said you had a brother... is your Rider selling him off as well?" Blinking a couple times he looked at the gift that Aqio was offering up to Amanita, though he didn't have a chance to comment before the little imp was snatching the pretty thing away from Aqio to inspect it. It was obvious that the imp liked the look of the clasp, as well as the jewel set in it. That or he was admiring his reflection in the jewel's surface, it was hard to say. Giving a bit of a smirk he let it be, "Seems he likes it."

Aqio paused. Mentally debating on if he should let the other male keeping thinking what he's thinking or correct him...sighing the Matori saw a small alley. "Come here a moment." he pulled Shesha into the alley positioning them so that anyone passing would avert their eyes out of common decency. The water male chuckled. "You misunderstand my dear firefly." he leaned up to mutter into his ear. "My path leads to blood. I am training to be a killer in the shadows." he leaned back to smile at the Oban. "I only would ever give my body to my primary employer. All others would get a show, but that's about it."

Shesha gave Aqio n odd look as he asked him to come along with him for a moment, wondering if he was going to try to discuss prices with him now that Shesha knew about what he was doing with his life. Didn't he seem a bit young to be doing such things? A thought that almost made Shesha laugh given his own situation. He really couldn't say much, he supposed that he was just surprised by the fact that Aqio was being sold in such a manner since he had escaped the Beast Lord. To think he'd get away from him only to end up in that position regardless. "Hm? I did, how so, little fish?" He asked, arms crossing as the other leaned in to whisper in his ear. He tilted his head, listening to what Aqio was saying, before giving a soft laugh, "Ahhh, I see." An assassin in training, hm? Though saying he was giving his body only to his 'primary employer' he found himself thinking that meant the Rider. So he was the only one using Aqio, hm? Fair enough, that tended to be how things went with one's Lord or Lady he thought to himself.

Aqio turned his head to look out at the passing crowd. "Though..." he paused thinking of how to word it. "I don't have a proper employer yet. My Caretaker said its a personal thing...I have to find someone who's ideals I wish to support...I..." he sighed closing his eyes as he let his head fall a bit. "I don't even know what I want...My ultimate goal is to put that Beast Lord 11 feet under and then some." he hissed. A tremble to his shoulders as the male actually showed anger for the first time in the presence of another. Aqio opened his eyes looking up at Shesha, there was a hidden fire there. Deep in him. Something dark twisted itself and writhed. "I want to take his heart with my own hands." he said low.

Shesha starred at Aqio, listening to what he was saying about his 'proper employer' and it would appear as though the man was different from his Caretaker. Sure, he'd met the Rider in the past, as well as that the Rider was supposed paired up with, but in Shesha's mind that sort of thing meant a whole lot of nothing. He was the boy toy of a married woman after all, so two people being together meant nothing when it came to them having some action on the side. He gave a thoughtful sound then said, "It can be tough at times trying to figure out exactly what one wants in life. At least that is what I am told." He knew what he wanted, to a degree, but it seemed as though Aqio had a much more difficult choice ahead of him. He had to find an employer that wouldn't send him off to kill at random 'just because' after all. "Putting the Beast Lord under, huh? An interesting goal, but I would suggest that you go about acheiving that goal very carefully. He's a dangerous man and I would hate to see him snuff you out because you struck too soon, little fish." Lifting a hand up to rested it on Aqio's head, stroking his two toned hair as one might do to a pet, "Sounds a bit messy, be sure to bring a towel so you can get a bath after you're done." He said with a bit of a chuckle, unable to help but to joke about it. There was just something about the look on Aqio's face that was suddenly interesting to Shesha. That look on his face, that darkness in his eyes, it was kind of attractive.
