Bisera was on the move, heading toward a place that he'd spotted a little while before they had made camp last time. It was a sort of... bone yard he wanted to call it. A possible graveyard for some sort of large beast, which was interesting. They idea that they all ended up going to the same place to die, leaving their piled bones together, and the sand and wind in the desert left the bones polished clean. He stopped, turned to look around, making sure that none of the creatures were about, before he moved forward once more. There weren't any signs that any of the alive beasts were around, which allowed him to move in, searching the area closely.
"Ahhh... wow... there are a lot of interesting bones here." He murmured, trying to recall the name of these creatures. He knew he'd heard it at least once... what was it, it started 'j' something, "Ahh... je... jan... janarim!" He said, snapping his fingers before he squatted down, poking at one of the white, wind polished skulls. These were what he needed the most. Well, not the skulls but the fangs and horns would be nice, but he needed other bones as well. What ones would make for good jewelry? Bigger bones that he could carve would be nice, possibly the ribs which would make for good beads he mused. Nodding he shrugged out of his pack, setting it down on the ground at his feet, top open, before he set to work gathering fangs and horns first.
Humming to himself he found himself wondering if he should take a full skull to carve designs into, to make it into some sort of beautiful decoration. Tempting, but it would be something heavy to carry about and without some sort of pack beast to offer its aid to him he wasn't sure if it would be worth the weight. Another time, maybe?

They were taking a route through Oba, natrually they would end up having to go through a city in order to resupply. Xarn had noticed that both Nike and his Uncle's mount were more keen in this area. Both had taken to alternating watch over their little group when they stopped for a rest. The wind youth was pleasantly surprised to find that they also were helping little Torvarith play in the coil of a long tail. That was a cute side of them Xarn wasn't expecting. Though at the moment his current task had nothing to do with any of that. It was simple. Find Bisera. Again. Xarn chuckled to himself, his little jeweler was certainly a handful when he wasn't expecting it. Though, his Uncle had quickly accepted that Bisera wandered due to his distracted nature. The elder did express relief in knowing Xarn would always wander right on after him. The shield user had a better grasp on direction than the other. So, now wasn't any different. Bisera had wandered off, causing Xarn to wander after. Xarn figured he went to that Boneyard they saw as he watched the other just stare in wonder at it. He figured he'd start there then circle out to any nearby caves. He'd find him eventually...like always. He spotted his fellow Wind and stopped to just watch him for a moment. His face unreadable.

Bisera lifted up some of the larger fangs that he'd collected thus far, looking them over. Such things were quite different then anything that he'd seen before in his life. There weren't any predators in Sauti that had fangs like this. They were beautiful, weren't they? They could be made even more beautiful with a lot of work on Bisera's part. They would be more then worth his time though unlike the skull that he was still debating over. What else could be useful? He thought about it, giving a humming sound, before snapping his fingers, "Ah! Claws!" He could use some claws, couldn't he? They would be like the fangs were, sharp and beautiful with great potential. Pushing to his feet he set to searching the area that he was standing in. He was scanning for some claws when he saw something moving in the corner of his eye. Giving a squeak of surprise he whirled around, expecting to see a giant janarim looming over him... but instead he spotted Xarnith. Lifting a hand to clutch it to his chest he let out a shaky breath, "Ahh... hello there, Xarnith... how are you?" He asked, giving him a bright smile. As he saw his friend standing there he found himself blushing a little, realizing that he hadn't even told his friend that he'd come here. How did he know? He must have seen him leaving, maybe followed him? He supposed it was possible? Turning back to the gathered skeletons he said, "I'm looking for claws and fangs, as well as other beautiful and useful parts that will look nice as jewelry. Well... it will look nice with time that is, though even on their own the pieces are lovely." He held out a fang for Xarnith to look at.

Xarnith blinked as the other male noticed him. Smiling he walked slowly forward listening. Thinking. "I'm fine. Figured I'd find you wandering where you'd wind up in danger...didn't expect this place though. Its interesting." He got closer before he tilted his head and looked around. It was with morbid fascination that he found himself just staring at everything. He looked down to the skull kneeling to reach out to touch it gently. He paused. "Bisera." then reached past the skull to lift an old worn out collar from the dirt. "This one has a story...maybe." he turned the collar over in his hand and nearly dropped it. The inside was lined with small jagged spikes. "...abuse. This must of been a War Beast once." He let the collar fall back into the dirt with disgust before placing his hand on the skull. Letting his thumb stroke the smooth bone he inhaled slowly. Being raised a warrior he knew to respect the Beasts that bore them. This beast most likely came here to die in order to escape its pain. It deserved respect, but it also deserved to be given the chance to be its majestic self. He knew Bisera had that talent, to make this skull a testament to the majesty of this Beast. He smiled as he looked at the other male. "If I can manage to pack this skull, you think you could come up with a nice pattern to show it off. The Janarim are a noble beast. I mean, look at Uncle's mount and Nike...this place is full of their presence. I'll help you find more claws and fangs. Maybe you could incorporate them into a piece for me?"

Bisera gave a flushed, "I... saw this place when we passed by earlier. It was from a distance, but still... it looked rather intriguing. I had to come see it, and there is so much here I can work with. I almost wish I had a pack beast of my own some days." If he did he'd be able to gather even more things without having to be as choosy as he was presently... though despite him being picky he was still lugging around a rather heavy pack. It would be good for him though, help him to build a bit of muscle, though he doubted he'd ever look as good as someone like Xarnith. He found himself starring at his friend, only breaking out of the moment when Xarn found the collar. "Huh?" He tilted his head to one side, taking in the weird collar with the spikes, something that he dropped on the ground a few moments later. He walked forward a few steps, squatting down so that he could look the collar over, "Well... it might not be abuse per say, I've heard of such things being used in training big, dangerous beasts that don't listen other wise." He glanced at Xarnith, "Not that I condone such things, mind you." He nudged the collar with the toe of his shoe, then walked back to his pack to put the fangs that he was showing off into it. Once he was done here the pack was going to be that much heavier... but he wasn't going to complain, he wanted to do at least this much on his own. Turning to look at Xarnith, listening to what he was saying about the skull, he found himself starring, "Xarnith... are you a mind reader?" He asked in a hushed tone, sounding quite shocked over this. The fact that he was thinking the same thing that Bisera himself was, that he too wanted one of the skulls for decorating, it was something that was quite surprising to him. Giving a smile as Xarnith offered to help him find more claws and fangs he said, "Thank you! We don't need a ton of them, since that is a lot to carry, but enough that I can work with. Hm? Incorporate them into a piece for you? Sure!" He was already planning to make Xarnith a lot of nice pieces, so making him something with some pieces from the janarim was doable.

The taller wind male chuckled deeply. "No, I'm not a mind reader Bisera. I just had a thought is all, but Uncle did say that close friends sometimes get on the same wavelength." he started to help the other male gather items. Slowing to a stop he leaned back against a nearby boulder. He kept watch over the other Wind male. Something in the back of his mind kept whirling.... "Bisera. Do you like being around me?"

Bisera gave a thoughtful sound. So it wasn't that he was able to read minds, instead it was that the two of them were close friends and were just thinking the same things? He gave a little smile and a nod, "I like the sound of that a bit better then the idea of you reading my mind. Not that I don't trust you but instead I know that my thoughts can sometimes run in circles like when my pet Gemma chases her tail." He said, giving a little laugh. The idea of poor Xarnith reading his mind and being stuck with all of Bisera's constantly racing thoughts about designs for new pieces, how something gave him ideas for a pattern, how the manner in which Xarnith's muscles moved was so fascinating... Yeah, best that he didn't know every little thing that Bisera was thinking about at all times or else he'd end up dizzy and embarrassed. "Hm? Do I like being around you? That's an odd question." He said as he pushed up to his feet, brushing himself off with one hand, the other full of claws that he'd found. He moved to tuck them into his pack before he turned to Xarnith. He gave a smile as he walked over to Xarnith, starring up at him, "Do you worry about it? That I don't like to be around you? That isn't the case, not at all... I know I wander off from time to time but it's not because I don't like being around you." He hoped that his tone was one of reassurance as he didn't want Xarnith to think that he thought ill of him.

Xarnith chuckled. In typical Bisera fashion his question was answered, then Bisera asked a few of his own questions. Always curious. Xarnith nodded. "I'm not exactly the easiest person to be around sometimes. I know this, you've seen a few of those moments. So...I'm insecure about relationships in general." He absently reached out to brush back a few strands of Bisera's hair. It was growing out rapidly. The long hair suited the smaller male a lot. He picked up Bisera's hand to kiss a knuckle before moving away to gather up a few fangs he spotted. "That was my thanks. Remember what I said Bisera." he turned with a glint to his bright eyes. "I will protect you."

Bisera starred at Xarnith for a moment, then laughed, "I know that feeling... I know that I am difficult to deal with as well. I wander off into my own world, I wander off in general, I get obsessed with things... I know even my older brothers aren't too fond with me a lot of the time. That you're giving me you attention and friendship is... nice." Xarnith was a kind person, even cute at times, and the fact that he allowed Bisera to sketch him without complaint... there was a lot to like about him. As Xarnith got closer, taking hold of a lock of Bisera's hair he could only stare, his cheeks going a rather dark shade of red as he was given a kiss on the knuckles a moment later, "I... ah... heh..." Words didn't seem to be working, and instead all he could do was nod his head as his friend that he would protect him. It was such a nice declaration, one that he took to heart, "Thank you, Xarnith." He said, lifting his hands to cover his blush stained cheeks for a moment before he turned to get back to work collecting things. He had to get this blushing under control or else he was going to look silly he told himself, unable to wipe the happy smile off his face.

Xanrith saw the smaller male's reactions clear as day. Something in the back of his mind slid into place and the male simply smiled. He found a few more interesting looking bones. Tucking them away he spotted something that had him slowly kneeling. It was a pup, most likely premature. Reaching out he swept the small collection of bones in his hand. He held them there. Simply staring at them...

Bisera looked over at Xarnith, watching him gather up what must have been a tiny little pup back at the time of its death. A sad sight to behold, but nature could be cruel at times he thought to himself as he dug into his pack, getting out a handkerchief. He shook it out to make sure nothing stuck to it before he walked over to Xarnith and offered the cloth to him, "We can see about burying the little one if you'd like?" He offered, while he was well and fine when it came to collecting the bones of the older dead it somehow felt a little different when it came to something young. He wondered if Xarnith was alright, the way that he was starring at the creature in his hands... or at least what was left of it. He lifted a hand to rest it on his shoulder, "Xarnith?" He murmured, lifted a hand up to rest it on his shoudler, giving him a gentle smile, "You alright? You look as if your mind is as far away as mine."

Xarnith seemed to jump as if the other male wasn't entirely recalled to have been there. Hearing him the youth nodded. "Yeah...burying him is best." Though he would admit to keeping the small set in a jar interesting. It would seem to be a whole new level of just plain wrong for him. He laid the small set in the handkerchief, wrapping it while sending a small prayer up for the small soul. He then looked at Bisera with a soft smile. "I'm alright." He pecked the other quickly on his temple before turning away with the pup. He looked to where it had fallen, kneeling down he dug a small semi-deep hole. Best to put it back where he had found it. That way it wouldn't be upsetting to the adult bones next to it. Must of either been its parent or a older family member who decided to stick around. He looked back up at the other male. "Wanna go further in? Maybe we'll find a big one?"

Bisera nodded, watching as Xarnith wrapped up the bones in the handkerchief that he offered before he moved to bury the little one. It made him wonder for a moment what had happened to the little one, maybe the mother was ill? It was hard to say since the bones looked pretty old. Xarnith seemed to be sending up a prayer to Chi for the little one, something that Bisera was quick to mimic, not wanting to see as though he was spacing off too much. He opened his mouth to say something to his friend but was silenced by what came next. What Xarn did had Bisera blushing once more, that being Xarnith giving him a little kiss on the temple. It was a sweet gesture that brought a smile to Bisera's lips as he struggled to get his blushed under control, again. He watched as Xarnith dug the hole, laying the bones to rest there where they wouldn't be exposed to the elements any longer. He gave a gentle smile before patting a hand against his shoulder lightly. He really was a nice guy, wasn't he? "Hm? Further in? Sure." He said, walking over to where he'd left his pack, lifting it up, and put it over his shoulder. The bag had taken on weight, but at least he'd found some really cool things, right? The fangs and claws were definitely worth the extra weight he thought to himself as he looked across the bone yard, debating which direction to go. Straight in? It was a slightly intimidating idea, heading right into the center of the place, but Xarnith was right, they might find something big within. It was as he noticed the glint of something within the boneyard that Bisera started forward, "We'll go this way!" He was curious what the glint might be, so he wanted to go and see.

Xarn blinked but chuckled as he held out a hand. "Lead on. I'll follow you." He looked around while they walked to the glimmer of light. He tilted his head as they got closer. It looked like armor. That wouldn't be too uncommon after all, they were in Oba, There were bound to be War Mounts here and there from a battle they just couldn't heal all the way from. He didn't like that thought, but it was there all the same. He was expecting something from a war...what he got was something else... The bones were huge. A tad bigger than normal Janarim, perhaps on the skeletal level it wasn't that big of a deal, but Xarn could picture it with all the proper muscle and such....yeah. This thing was impressive. The glint...was from old jewelry. The metal tarnished, jewels murky from the sands. Xarn saw a few of the bigger ones missing but...that didn't deter his mind from seeing the grandeur. He nodded. "This...was a noble's prized beast. Imagine this thing with all the muscle and flesh back on it..." he whistled in amazement.

Bisera gave a soft gasp as they got closer, his hands tightening on and clutching tightly onto the strap of his pack. The look of the massive skeleton, adorned with its beautiful jewelry, both worn fro age, had struck Bisera speechless. He could only stare before he moved forward, taking a knee in front of the large set of bones, taking in the look of the decorations that the beast had been wearing. The jewelry was a bit weather worn, but beautiful still, he needed only close his eyes for a moment and he could imagine what it looked like back when it was new. After a moment his eyes popped open and he was digging into his pack, finding his journal and writing utensil and set to sketching the design of the jewelry, trying to recreate it best that he could. Between what was in front of him and what he could see in his mind's eye he felt he might be able to make something similar. He didn't think that he had access to those sorts of jewels, they looked like rubies, but he could use something that he did have. His hands and mind were moving a mile a minute as he worked, eager to get the details down, wanting to add a piece like this to the list of things he wanted to make.
