In some form of manner he had sneaked away from his family and had gotten himself lost. Where exactly he was, he didn't know and he really didn't want to be be away from home for too long. He didn't want mother to grow frantic with worry, or one of his siblings to fear something may have happened to him. He was in the woods somewhere and a field by the look of it. If only he had wings like his sister! Then he would be able to see where he was. He gave a small frown and shook himself. His little tail wiggled back and forth a little bit as he looked around.
His glowing gaze scanned the area for anything, or anyone really. He normally didn't get lost when he traveled, but today was different and he was actually a little worried about it, though overall he was certain he wasn't entirely that far from his family. Which in all honestly, he wasn't. He just didn't know that, at least not yet. He took in a deep breath and let it out. Everything was going to be okay. He could just say he was on an adventure! Yep, that was it. He was on an adventure to find new and interesting things.
With that thought in mind he decided to start looking around for anything strange or unusual. As he began to search the forest for odd things he couldn't help but feel as though he wasn't entirely alone in there. His attention was stolen away from the ground and he gazed about cautiously for a moment, his little tail flicking as he did so.

Amaranthe had wondered from her home grounds, bored wanting to do something....meet someone. Her mother could be suffocating and she didn't seem too impressed with trying to teach herself to fly. She could fly relatively well, but was still shaky with taking off and landing. To her mother she demanded perfection for her beauty.
Amaranthe wanted a breather somewhere she didnt have to walk proper and poised 100% of the time, 'enhancing her beauty'. She wanted to fly, splash in a pond let her mane and tail blow and get messy in the wind. She slipped away while her mother rested, she told her she was going to bathe and groom herself and get some beauty rest herself. She was allowed a little more freedom as she was getting older so she used the opportunity to wonder the near by forest.
She had been walking awhile when her legs got tired and she decided to fly, she got a running start and teetered a few feet off the ground before she got more altitude and could glide between the large trees. As she glided she soon picked up a sound not far from her, someone else was in the woods? She lowered her altitude slightly and saw a bright almost glowing foal. 'He seems lost or something', she thought to herself.
She decided to land and see if he needed help. She was doing good with her decent and saw he stopped and looked around. Maybe he heard something or someone else was around. She tried to look to see if anyone else was there and over corrected and suddenly found herself going too fast for a smoothe landing. She was getting rather close to the ground and heading right for the foal!! She tried to steer to his side so as not to collide, but she was unsure if she would clear him entirely. "LOOK OUT BELOW......INCOMING!!! *AHH* -thump-" @_@

It became painstakingly clear that today was not his day. Not only was he lost but the sudden shout of "LOOKOUT BELOW" made him not even bother to look because he just knew what was about to happen. Sure enough the force of someone colliding into him forced his frame into a roll and he just laid there for a moment cursing his luck for the moment. It didn't last long for he was aware that there was now more than just he out here and he hoped the other was alright.
Lifting his head he looked around and spotted the crimson and pale form not to far away and he stood up and shook the dirt and grass from himself and looked at her. "You're not hurt are you?" He asked the filly as he approached her to make sure nothing was injured. He was quite familiar with such landings as his sister was born with wings and was quite frequently colliding into objects or one of them. He honestly didn't mind it, it was something that one couldn't control.
Her wings were curious to him though. They were flutters and this filly was something else. He was fascinated by her but was honestly a bit more worried as to if she was okay. It was a rather hard landing. As he had taken most of the blow from it. "At least I took most of that landing for you." He said with a chuckle hoping to let her know he was okay and unharmed.

"That's mine line......", she said as she shook off the dirt as best she could. She flapped her wings vigorously to rid them of a few leaves that tried to stay stuck in her feathers. ".....Here I am the one that crashed into you and you ask me if Im ok? Silly, but yes Im am fine, though I will have to bathe thoroughly before returning home or mother will be furious." She gave a smirk and with a sigh, but shook the thought off and trotted closer to the foal and looked him over.
"Hmm...even though you took the brunt of my crash landing spectacular you dont seem to be injured either, though you may need a bath too. But are you ok, from up above you seemed lost?", she said with a kind tone accompanied with a smile as she took a few steps back to allow him his space. He was an interesting foal, he seemed to glow like the stars in the night sky. She was curious to learn more about him.

He almost laughed at her words but refrained from doing so. Was she really slightly upset that he had asked if she was okay? "Well, I wasn't the one who fell from the sky at a high rate of speed." He said looking her over as she cleared the leaves from her wings. "Also, it's only polite to ask a Lady if she's alright first." He said with a small smile. That was how he felt about the manner anyway, he could have been hurt but he wouldn't have said anything about it. The important thing was that she was okay, minus her saying that her mother would be furious if she came home dirty. He looked her over for a moment. "You don't look like you need too much sprucing up." Though, he had no idea what her mother found as acceptable.
He smiled warmly at her, his glowing gaze shining bright as he responded to her question and very obvious observation of his being lost. At least it was clear that he was misplaced. "I assure you, I was not injured by cushioning your landing." He paused before continuing. "I am a little lost. My family is somewhere nearby, I just got turned around in the woods and don't know where to go exactly." He said looking at her and then bowed slightly in embarrassment when he realized he had yet to introduce himself. "Do forgive my manners, my name is Neon Twilight. What may I call you?" He asked looking at her as he lifted his head and gaze to meet her own as he spoke.

She couldnt help but laugh at herself a bit. "Well you do have a point there, you are quite the little gentleman.", she said half serious and half teasingly. She then took another look at herself and shook off what remaining dust and dirt their may have been from the crash and shrugged. "Not too bad, but my mother will know if there is a hair out of place. I cant take any chances. ""I thought you seemed lost.....hmm....I was too busy crashing to notice any others but I can fly back up...", she attempted to flap her wings but her bottom right twinged in pain she had sprained it slightly in the fall. "Ow....or not, must have clipped a branch on my way down. Should just need to stretch it out and rest for a bit......so I guess we are both walking haha. Oh and pleasure you meet you....Oh Twili!! That would be the perfect nickname for you, or I can call you Neon, whatever you prefer. Oh my name is Amaranthe, but you can call me Ami if you like!'", she said beaming a bright smile to him.

He was rather pleased that she had decided to commend him on his behavior. At least his mother was doing something right by him. He understood the importance of keeping up apperances so he could understand if her mother wanted her looking presentable. "At least you're n-" He cut his words short at her attempt to fly. "I hope you're not too injured." He said looking at her wing. "Does it hurt?" He asked her. "You can call me Twili if you want." He said with a nod and a smile at her choice of nickname. "Amaranthe is a very lovely name." It was fitting since she was a very pretty filly, but he kept that part to himself. "Which way do you live?" He asked her not wanting her to get lost either.
