Tonight MTV has a True Life episode featuring witches. I'm going to watch it out of curiosity, but I'm not sure what to expect from it. (I haven't seen the commercial, just the description).

One part was about a girl who wanted to become the high sorceress for a vampire court in Texas. The other about a boy who was going to be initiated into a coven.
I missed some of it because my husband wanted to watch something. But I recorded the show on DVR so I'll watch the rest of it later tonight.

She's been a practicing Wiccan for years but recently awakened as a vampire after an illness. Apparently feeding off people's energy helped a lot. So she became a part of a group of vampires who had an opening in their court and nominated her for the position.
The other story was about a guy who became interested in magic due to Harry Potter. He started to practice spell work seriously but didn't feel a lot of support from his family, especially when it came to his sexuality. (Although his grandma doesn't mind that as much). He connected with someone online and became part of that guy's coven after meeting him in person. He's started to connect more with others online as well.
