I've already come up with the best idea ever. It's not going to be taken seriously at all but it will be a hilarious RP. My idea is this.
Year XXX1 the Earth has been invaded by a mysterious alien race who all look somewhat like little green men in Gundams and the world is nearing it's end. Only one nation can stand up against the tyranny and evil of the aliens hordes and that nation is 'Murica!!
The greatest minds of 'Murica have decided to make superheroes to stop the evil aliens but have realized that only a true 'Murican can become a superhero which means they are left only with the obvious choice.
The Minds of 'Murica, as they were called, used all their scientific know how to bring back the only true blooded heroes their nation has ever had. The US presidents of the past!!
Ressurected with super powers the US presidents must face off against the evil alien hordes using their ultimate powers. They were America's greatest hope in the past and are now America's greatest hope for the future. All presidents of the past and present can become superheroes to stop the evil alien hordes from destroying the only free country left on the planet. 'MURICA!!!!
The presidents have gained amazing abilities and here are a few examples.
George Washington can say, have the power of firing beams from his false teeth, and ultimate axe slinging abilities.
Abe Lincoln with the ability to shot explosive beards from his beard, and fire cannonballs from his hat. As well as never tell a god damn lie!!
George W. Bush, with the ability to immediately lower the IQ of others and control chimpanzee. However does have a natural weakness to pretzels.
These are merely a few examples of the awesome powers of the US Presidents of power!! Will the president triumph and save 'Murica, and the world? Or will the president fall victim to one of their oldest enemies of all time?

His super powers will be..... firing essentially multiple sniper rifle rounds by...blowing up his skull. His power increases if he's near a book depository, or in a limo, and/or if he's waving. He'll regenerate his head (and any other parts of his body) in an hour or so -is now the most offensive person ever- Also, Teddy Roosevelt. He will be buff as ******** and have to speak softly or else unleash sonic booms on everyone....and he'll have a big-a** club/stick. If anyone uses Franklin Roosevelt though Wheelchair could be like a transformer--turn into a jet, a mech, etc. whatever he needs to get the job done.

Okay so would anyone be interested in a battle academy like setting? Yes it would be school but also not a typical school like setting. It would be more of an adventure sort of RP with some school elements which would allow for many types of characters (some who fight, some who don't, some who are smart, some who are gifted in other ways such as art etc). If more details are needed I'd be happy to explain...

It would be more of an adventure sort of RP with some school elements which would allow for many types of characters (some who fight, some who don't, some who are smart, some who are gifted in other ways such as art etc). If more details are needed I'd be happy to explain... 1st of all I wanna see an animated series of what fortune teller was talking about cuz dat sounds epic! I'm a horrible person sometimes. Secondly, it's good to know there's some interest. I will set up a sub-forum for it if there is enough interest. Or hell I might do it anyways with the hopes that once it's seen/fleshed out it will gain interest.

I've played a battle academy type guild before.
It was rather well done. Required a certain amount of posts to level a single ability ( A post was classified as 4 sentences so there was no one liners ), class wide GM events to graduate to the next grade ( 3 classmates in an event to get to the next level) and was a brilliant idea over all.
Sadly lack of activity killed it while senior original members abused their level out of boredom.
I'm certainly not opposed to such a RP, in fact I'd be more than interested. Just thought I'd throw out a bit of my experience on the subject. ^_^

Might I suggest a straight up Adventure RP?
It would be easy enough to construct without someone having to GM so everyone can be involved. ( Assuming no one truly enjoys playing GM )
The concept would be simple.
Pick three to five different settings. Assuming in a linear sense that our RPC's would be traveling from one to the next. Each setting would be different and involve different type of events limited only by imagination.
A hostile forest full of lethal plants, insects, animals we fight to get through.
Some kind of city where the law enforcement has marked us as most wanted.
A vast expansive empty desert testing our RPC's resourcefulness and resolve full of random raiders or oasis's.
The end setting would revolve around either some kind of treasure, rescue mission, deactivation of some machine or magic, or any sort of end objective that would reasonably gather a group of RPC's together to embark upon whether for reward or heroics or an ironic combination of both.
At some point later on I could brain storm a few objectives if anyone else would be interested, otherwise I'd happily join if someone else had an idea.
Whether with a post restriction, or general 'rough' post requirement per 'setting' it would promise to be interesting none the less.

The lore behind it is that a nameless being had to come and brought drastic change upon the earth. This being happened to stop the earths rotation which permently cast half of the world in darkness and the other half would always be sunny. The human, elves, neko, ect live on the light side meanwhile creatures and beings like demons, vampires.were wolves ghouls they inhabit the dark side where humans are not allowed to go and should they venture there they are never heard from again. There are many factions within the dark side. Though the two most prominent factions being the Lycans and Vampires since they're creatures derived from darkness. Though the lycans have much control of the territories due to their numbers. Like u were saying about hostile enviorments? There is A LoT of that in thr dark side.Also there are some area I guess you could consider oaises but they are creepy and uninhabited.*looks up thread* Here it is! Take a look. I had orginally desgined it for a plot but eh....it just never panned out cuz people were busy.

I like the idea, we should look into getting something like that started. If you want, you and I can work on it to get it up and running. An adventure RP would be pretty fun to have.
