The world around her seemed almost a blur to her as she sped across an empty expanse in the late night hours while keeping to mostly seldom opted for paths, shadows, and silence as much as possible for her. And eventually Sailor Altair slowed to a stop in an unlit parking lot that was given to shadows by the solid, windowless wall of the side of a tall building. It was a small collection of parking spaces and behind her there was light as though resembling that at the end of a tunnel. She, however, proceeded towards further shadows created by what seemed to be a collection of trees. Was it another park?

And, yes, as it turned out, it was a small peripheral section of a park. She had never been to this one before now and she noted to herself that unfortunately she wasn't quite sure she would be able to figure out how to find it during daytime hours in light of the superhuman practice she had undergone to arrive at this point. She only knew that to return to her starting point later, she would attempt to retrace the straight path she took jumping and running here and there like one or two floors were simply steps in her powered form.

And then she arrived where the line of shadows beneath a thick section of trees broke into a cemented clearing lit by a handful of street lamps. It seemed that the area before her was a pocket space intended to serve as a stage for performances from time to time since there was a short rise in the center of the open area made by two slight steps all around to get to the top of the flat circular stretch along with the back of multiple wooden benches lining the circumference of the clearing with the trees behind them.

One step and she would leave the leafy shadows and be under the shine of one of the street lamps, however Altair had yet to take that one step as of yet.

With renewed effort, Andronicus patrolled the city. The small crystal Caedus had given her hung in a wire 'basket' of sorts on a chain around her neck so she wouldn't lose it. It wasn't so much a basket as an intricate weaving of wire in curls and through itself to encase the crystal. A little bulkier than she usually wore, but it stood for something far more important. She still sought a way for power outside of Metallia and the Cauldron, but it was not her purpose. If it happened, more power to her and her Sentinels.

If not... they would endure anyway.

The squire walked through the park, finishing a circuit that had the benefit of frightening the creeps off, as well as the youma. It was empty aside from a few potheads in the deeper part of the park, until she came to a disconnected portion of the park. An energy signature, closer than she expected and she paused on the other side of the clearing, washed in light.

A hand tucked behind her, mace summoned in a silent swirl of wind, and she called out across the park.

"Gunna lurk all night, or are ya gunna step into the light?" Andronicus wasn't stupid. Just because the signature 'rang' of order did not mean the person wielding it was safe.

Altair was becoming more and more familiar with differentiating between magical presences that were somewhat like hers or not now since after Caedus had called a large gathering to meet him. Whereas before, she thought the peculiar feelings she got during initial magical interactions were simply part of her fearful imagination.

The magical presence she was feeling now fit in with those she felt at the aforementioned gathering and she hoped there would be no encountering of any misunderstandings tonight as she warily took a step from the leafy shadows and entered the reach of the area's lights given off by the tall lamps here. "I-I'm Sailor Altair. I-I am out trying t-to improve, t-to train and f-figure out my capabilities towards being a stronger senshi, a stronger protector of those who are innocent b-but m-may themselves be directly or indirectly harmed somehow i-in the magical war here in Destiny City."

Huh a senshi. A young senshi, in experience. She looked about the same age as Andronicus. To be honest, she wasn't quite sure what to do here, though the girl had the right intentions. She supposed the meekness would wear off on its own; she'd never really been 'meek' just stupid.

"Good mentality to have in this whole thing, actually. Though I'd argue hiding in the shadows makes it a little hard to get stronger." Andronicus wasn't going to be choosey about people for the Sentinels; if they had the right mindset, she could - probably - help them with the experience part. She offered a smile, hooking her mace into her belt.

"Andronicus Squire of Uranus, and leader of the Sentinels. I could use someone like you to help protect the city, if you're willing." The squire bowed, slipping the hood from her head. She should probably see where the senshi was in terms of battle prowess... just in case.

"Unrelated, but we can spar and give ya pointers on fighting, if you want."

"I-I," she had been about to introduce herself again when she had already done so, nervousness mixed in a new way that was thus unfamiliar but not unwelcome because it was mixed with a sudden sense of hopefulness to match, "A-Andronicus Squire of Uranus, h-hello a-and yes, yes please, I-I'd like to h-help protect the city as well please." She had subconsciously straightened her stance to be more alert and focused on not forgetting any part of this first meeting and interaction between them. She had made the mistake of not remembering much of what happened when she first became a senshi and had no desire to repeat such misfortune.

"I-I also would really like to take you up on your offer for a spar p-please. Thank you t-thank you so much, I would like to learn and p-practice fighting at any opportunity to improve. I-I am not skilled but I p-promise to endeavor to keep getting better and better. I-I can also show h-how my magic works, i-if you'd like to see it at any point in time p-please let me know." And by this point, she had gradually taken small steps toward the Uranus squire to pause her steps several feet from Andronicus, give a bow in kind, and then await the response she would be given in cautious attention in the event the spar may very well be underway before she knew it.

So she should really just launch herself into this full throttle and scare the poor girl. Andronicus chuckled to herself and made the first move, directing a kick towards Altair's right shoulder at a moderate speed. She wasn't going to hurt the girl, more or less just tap her with firm pressure to get her used to the concept of being aware of limbs coming at her.

"I won't go hard on you; we're much stronger powered up than we are when civilians, and if you know how to fight, you can easily hurt or kill someone if you don't know you're own strength. We'll start slow, yeah?" Not that Andronicus even knew how to fight beyond improvised things. She'd only recently taken up a self defense class, and it hadn't quite all stuck yet. However, she did know how to move her body and the awareness that came from that.

"How long have you been a senshi?" she asked, waiting for Altair to attack in return.

She has tried her hand at a number of training spars as a civilian. However, with regards to training spars in her powered form, this was the first for Altair and she was definitely interested in being more inclined at being safe than sorry when thinking about executing attacks.

But first things first, even facing oncoming training spar attacks was new to her because there was the knowledge that it has been agreed between both parties that this was to be far from a life or death situation. Her brain seemed to process the consideration as foreign as compared to her usual powered experiences fighting of being about trying with all her might not to die. And now, she found her actions slowed in part by the presently being newly tested knowledge in action that she could expect no such efforts to land a blow on her were to be directed with a notable amount of disregard of her well-being.

And so, when Altair moved to dodge with backward steps, she did not dodge enough and found herself pushed back so that she took additional backward steps before righting her stance.

She gave a nod to express her agreement right before attempting to also voice a reply. What's more, she found herself paying more attention now to trying to work more consciously on further attempts at diminishing her habit of stuttering as she responded to the query she was addressed with, "Um, I-I I think it has been a little a little more than half a year now if I'm remembering correctly."

Next, Altair attempted now to mimic the offensive push she was dealt with but with her fist. And this resulted in an awkwardly sent punch at Andronicus' shoulder, which she was clearly aware had been executed awkwardly. Still, she persisted in her attempts at staying focused, to keep learning from this experience as she was thankful she certainly was already. "How how about you, may I ask how long you've known about and and been fighting with your your powered up capabilities?"
