Adhil had decided that today would be his first time patrolling during the day. He was a little nervous, admittingly, wearing his senshi attire, and keeping in the alleys and less populated pockets where he wouldn't be seen. But it seemed that the youma didn't always wait for the convenient times, such as at night, for the senshi to seek them out and take care of them. Luckily, he'd not sensed on yet, but this would at least be good practice at sneaking about during the daytime.

There were a couple of times the fledgling senshi was nearly seen or caught in his stealth mode, making him smirk lightly to himself. How would that guardian cat grade him and his subpar abilities right now? having only been involved in a single battle so far, he was still flying blind and figuring it out as he went along on how to properly carry out his roll.

The flames of commotion in the area grew quickly but still Aptera moved as stealthily as she could while targeting efficiency in her movements.

She jumped down the side of the building she was on that consisted of a slimmer path seeming to serve as an alley for rare use between the building she had been on and the one beside it since it did not comfortably fit a little more than one or two persons walking through shoulder to shoulder. She hadn't been entirely sure of the source of the sudden mayhem until seeing more of a pattern to people running to then away from the fountain like they had seen a ghost. And gradually as she focused more on observing if the problem that arose was of a magical origin or not, she sensed it, a different seemingly magical presence very much unlike the presence she associated with those similarly shared by others not unlike herself in the gathering that had been called together by Caedus.

And with her suspicions confirmed to a sound extent by her determination, she rushed toward the fountain. It was nearly a straight shot there, but she picked up an open anime designed umbrella that was abandoned and in her way without much thinking and didn't think to let go of it when she caught sight of the koi that had latched itself onto a little girl's hand.

How could she help get it to let go of the girl?! She sent her gaze darting around her before it fell to the umbrella still in her grasp by one of the triangular stretches of it. She moved to close that umbrella, wrapped her arm securely around the child's upper body, and then in mindfully aiming to also make quick work of positioning the makeshift weapon over the girl's arm without inflicting more harm, she followed the move of preparation with a batting motion which she executed by means of having swept the umbrella away from the girl in a sliding glide over and along the length of the child's arm but not touching the victim as the tool was flung towards making contact with just the predator.

Youma

The youma couldn't hold on to its prey any longer with not one, but two, powered individuals prying its clamped jaws from the scared little girl.

The child ran crying to her panicked mother. She seemed safe now that she was scooped up into her parent's arms. The most harm done was a thick layer of slime covering her tiny hand. The substance was an inky black, but was otherwise harmless.

As for the beast itself, however, that couldn't be said.

The koi had seemed harmless enough until now. Now it was angry.

The fish was small and no larger than a paper kite you often see at festivals. But it was fiesty. It flipped this way and that on the ground as if struggling. It didn't seem to need water to breathe, yet it was having some difficultly adjusting to land.

If it could be caught, perhaps it could be removed. Catching the flailing, scale-covered creature would be easier said than done.

His eyes did a quick scan to make sure both child, and fellow senshi were alright once the fish was dislodged. Backing up, a look was made around the direct area of them, seeing that the mother and child were now fleeing the scene as they were ushered to, also taking note that there didn't seem to be anyone else spotted too close. Good...

When his comrade called out her lacking magical abilities, Adhil offered a light smile of assurance, "Don't worry. I'm sure we won't need too much magical power for this little guy. Just stand back, and I'll try and weaken it." Taking a few steps back himself, he honed his eyes onto the flailing fish once it'd been scooped and placed, a hand raising to gently touch the beads that hugged his forehead.

The coloured teardrop gem that hung from the center began to glow as he concentrated, his voice ringing out as he called forth his attack, "Deer's Wrath!" a brilliant light took formation, wearing the guise of a deer, racing with extraordinary speed forward to slam into the fish.
