Thanks to the portals, such an excursion didn't take hours to days to reach a desired location. The twins could have taken the train for a more scenic route to Leviathan, but the two siblings had been so swamped in their studies that a mini vacation would not have suited their delicate time frames.

Pekoe and Sencha were not used to being separated, and now that they were together again they truly felt home. They were trying their best just to enjoy the moment while they had it to share together, but they knew soon enough that they'd have to return to their respective schools and once again depart until they could find the time to spend with one another.

Pekoe was attending Asterion, while her sister Sencha was just barely passing by at the community college. Sencha had no idea what she wanted to do with her life now that she was out of the Academy, and had gone in to community college to study law enforcement simply because she had nothing better to do with her time. And with Pekoe leaving to blaze a trail towards her dreams, Sencha had felt a little left behind. Her grades weren't good enough to get in to Leviathan at the time, but now that she was in college, if she could find a way to transfer mid-semester she might have a shot at getting in.

But Sencha didn't want to make such a rash decision without seeing what options they had first, and definitely not without seeing that university in person. So, the siblings had agreed to travel to Leviathan together to take one of the tours of the campus as see if this school might be a better fit for the more young-spirited geist.

"What do you think?" Pekoe asked as she ascended up the stairs to the front doors, glancing over her shoulder to peer back at her sister lagging behind. "Probably a lot fancier and nicer looking than that ol' community college, huh?"

Sencha nodded her hand, fighting the urge to remain mute. "Yes." she said a touch hesitantly. "Tho, Grendel looked a lot nicer in the pictures ... "

Pekoe paused mid-step before spinning around to stare down the steps at her sister. "Wait." she said a bit flatly. "Don't .... tell me. Did we come here for nothing?"

Sencha averted her gaze, clasping her hands together and shrugging one shoulder gently. She didn't want to make her sister upset with her. "I'm curious about Leviathan too." Sencha reassured her. "But ... Leviathan's exterior just seems to be lacking a bit of ... character, I suppose?"

Pekoe frowned a bit. "But you haven't even seen the inside yet, or the dorms, or anything but the front entrance. Come on, at least give it a try and see some of the student life before you completely reject it!" Pekoe spun 'round on her heel and continued her climb up the steps. Sencha nodded her head again in acknowledgement before following in her sister's foot steps. It was true, she needed to give the university a chance. Maybe it wasn't as dull as it seemed at first glance. And maybe the school was filled with really amazing teachers and students. In all honesty, the idea of attending a university scared Sencha a little bit. There was something about saying 'I'm a university student' that seemed far more intimidating and grueling than 'I attend the community college'. University was harder and much more dry ... even if she liked Leviathan, would she even be able to handle the heavy load?

The geist wasn't so sure, but she owed it to her sister to at least take the tour and feel things out. Sencha didn't want her sister to view their little trip as a waste of time, and so Sencha would keep herself as upbeat as she could manage. She would just have to bide her time until the two could do something a little more fun afterwards.
