This is a neat idea, but not one we'd like to implement at this time. Apologies!

We've heard that the drops in Fafnir's Peak will be altered after the Event is over (the removal of the RIGs and most likely the Event Items). Any word on when and what they'll be changed to? Would be nice to get more Poison Potions out there, and it'd be fitting for the area.

We won't give specifics of what they'll be changed to, but I can let you know there will be some cool older RIGs and items!

I know that we ask a lot about Fishing, because we care about the game dearly. Can we at least have a small update to give us hope? I keep seeing so much negativity about the future of the game- people are starting to think that you're just going to remove the game for good. Please prove them wrong and give us something to go by- it's been 7 months. We support the staff greatly and understand how busy you are. Even if it's just to let us know the game is staying and there are no plans to take it down, will you give us some small bit of news? We've tried to be patient all this time.
It's my New Year's Resolution to continue supporting the game- please let us know if there is something we can do to further encourage you all to bring the game back. We want to work with you, and I apologize if it seems like this is harassing you at all. I hope, instead, that you can see all of these questioning souls as a sign of our enjoyment and patronage.

I'm sorry to say that we just do not have an update to give you all about fishing. That's not to say the game has been forgotten, we just don't have anything to update everyone about regarding its status. When we have an update, we will make a staff notice about it. Until a staff notice goes out about it, we won't have anything to really update everyone with. I know that it must be frustrating because it is a loved game, but again, rest assured that we have not forgotten about it and that we know how integral the game is to various other features on the site.

With the What would you like to see in Rococo? thread could the staff please put up some rules and stipulations in the first post so that newer Gaians aren't so confused about what can be requested and what cannot be requested? " I would love to accept requests for items that have few marketplace listings or are very sorely missed!" Is very vague, some items that are limited are from free event grants, others are from sponsors that cant be released again, and some are special items that were made from tickets. There's no guidelines up, granted these no-no's would be common sense for oldies but not for the newer members.

We do not always announce when all items leave a shop. They are in for a specified amount of time and then are removed.

Fafnir's Peak has discontinued dropping Snowflakes, but it will still drop RIGs, though they'll be harder to get. This is effect today.

Even the splicing system, still entails that we are just pressing buttons to either win or fail, and have put enough time into two kindred for them to splice. At this point there is no substance to the gameplay, and I see little point in playing a game that is all outcome and no substance between start and finish.

With the sellback removed from the Potions, will the absurdly high prices for potions in the LK shop be reduced? It's not going to work as a Gold sink at those high prices for single potions. I don't use the LK Shop myself as a result. As not everyone can farm Sycamorte, the potions should be possible to buy with funds naturally accumulated through gameplay.

for collecting the twelve days of Christmas freebie items we were promised that we would be able to exchange them for a special item if we had all twelve freebies.
You gave out a paws option for the freebie items however the paws base cannot exchange those item for the special item only the human base can.
This isn't fair at all, the Paws base gets left out of almost everything.
If you couldn't get the Owl Be Merry item to work for the Paws base then you should have made a separate item that would work for them instead of taking the lazy way out.
I'm also not the only one upset about this, check out this thread in site feedback.

Occasionally we have increased drop rates for cosntantly available ones like the Ye Olde Trunk of Forgotten Things or Bug Trap in response to feedback from Alchemists and collectors. biggrin

Will there ever be a solution/fix for the problem when ordering GC, the transaction will fail if your name/address has specific characters like, ö or ä. When I asked about this on support, I was basically given cold shoulder and was just told '' yeah, there's no fix for this problem, you just have to make an entirely new paypal account without ä's or ö's etc. '' which I thought was kinda disappointing?

Unfortunately from what we have been told by our partner this is something that they are not able to actually fix for us, that it's actually a problem across many forms of online payments not related to just Gaia Online.

Unfortunately we will not be buffing Sycamorte. We may be adding new prizes, such as RIGs, but we will not be increasing the gold output.
