Ozryn was absolutely beautiful. The resort city was filled with tourists and plenty of trinkets to keep the buzzing massed satiated and interested in what could possibly be around each corner. Burvia had specifically chosen Ozryn for that specific reason. Joseth had taken Joselyn to Snowgarden, and Burvia had taken Gale here in order to tell them both something important. Sure, the trips would prove a little on the pricey side, but Burvia felt the purpose was well worth it. Joseth and Burvia had decided to have more kids -- ones that were both of theirs. While they loved and adored their adoptive daughter Joselyn, and knew that Gale would never consider herself a half-sister to any other children they may have, the two still wanted children that were genetically both of theirs. After all, it was the ultimate connection. Burvia had imbued a stone once before. It was an amazing yet exhausting experience. She could only imagine just how intimate it would be focusing all that energy with Joseth in order to create a life. More than just one ... Her heart skipped a beat. "Where would you like to go, my starry little one?" Burvia asked in a singsong voice, giving her daughter's hand a small little squeeze. "Did you want to do some sight seeing? Perhaps stop somewhere and grab a bite to eat? Maybe some shopping?"

Gale's eyes surveyed the city. The place was flooded with all sorts of energies. Gale was rather fine-tuned in to each one -- there were people who were bubbling over with joyous emotions, and some so depressed and enraged it singed the air with their negative emotions. Gale had always been sensitive to the energies around her, and had been trying to learn as she grew how to push pick and choose which energies she was focusing in on. She knew her empathy was likely one of her greatest strengths, but Gale's bluntness paired with that quality seemed to land her in to trouble. When she noticed these sorts of things, she couldn't help but to speak up about them. But with so many people all gathered in one place, the little hybrid was far too overwhelmed. The area was beautiful, that was true. But it was a little hard to enjoy herself when she had such a splitting, awful headache. There was one energy, however, that Gale noticed above all else. It was her mother's, and it was quite nervous. Perhaps she recognized it and honed in on it because it was her mum. Or, perhaps, it was because they were holding hands. One way or another, Gale had a hard time focusing on anything but the worry she could feel coming from her mother. "Anywhere is fine, mum." she said truthfully. "I need a bit of a break ... " Galexus admitted, worried her high-energy mother would be a bit upset with her for already being so burned out. "Maybe we can grab some food indoors somewhere ... ? I'd like to hide inside for a bit to recuperate."Gale had been so eager for the trip. She always looked forward to alone time with each of her family members when she could get it. Not that Gale didn't love their family dynamic. She was just such a quiet child that sometimes the loudness of a full house was a bit much for her. The girl squeezed her mother's hand reassuringly and gave a small little smile. "Somewhere with iced tea."

Burvia glanced down at her daughter as she could sense her daughter tensing up. Gale had always been a sensitive child, something that Burvia had hoped she would grow out of. Burvia had never met the other partner that imbued the second half of Gale's stone, so she didn't really know what she was dealing with when it came to Gale's excessive empathy. Burvia wanted to do well by her children, but sometimes she worried a little excessively over Gale. "Alright, hun. I think there's a cafe just up ahead that smells delicious ... why don't we stop there for a bite to eat, and maybe head to a museum or something where everyone is quiet and introspective? Would that be alright?"Was it a mistake to bring Gale so far from home? She didn't want to burn her daughter out ... but this was really important, and Gale needed to have a good time today.

Galexis could feel that her mother was rather uneasy, and this made the little girl recoil, clutching on to her mom's hands all the more tightly. "Yes, please ... " Gale murmured under her breath, ears drooping low as she tucked in as close as she could to her mom. She didn't want to be the reason why her mother didn't enjoy their trip ... but Gale could feel, even with all the other muddled and cluttered energies around her that something was off with her mom. "M-maybe I can share a coffee with you ... ?" The girl tried to offer her mother a hopeful smile, but she wasn't sure if she had quite achieved her mission.

"Gale! You know you can't have coffee!" Burvia tried to sound as if she was scolding her daughter for even considering such a thing. Caffeine was something a child her age shouldn't be having, and Burvia did what she could to keep any growth stunters away from her children for as long as she could. She didn't want Gale or Joselyn to become addicted to anything too early on in life ... and what would her peers think of her if her six year old was drinking coffee? Gale probably just wanted to feel grown up. With three news kids on the way, Burvia hoped that Gale's compulsion to act older than she was would ebb ... but she wasn't holding on too tightly to that hope. "How about I let you have some tea, and we can share one? A decaff one, perhaps? Maybe a chamomile to help sooth your nerves?" Burvia offered a small, but warm smile to her daughter before guiding her along the walkway to the cafe she had picked out for them. The delicious smell Burvia had noticed was sweet and rich. As the two entered in to the cafe together, Burvia realized it was chocolate croissants that she had been smelling, and her mouth watered just a little bit. "Mmmn, Gale! Look at those! Don't they look simply to die for!" Burvia pointed to the glass that held all the various treats inside the display case. "Do you want to split one, or would you like something else, sweet one?"

Gale turned her feet inwards, pigeon-toed like her mother and stared at all the desserts inside the display case. But the longer she stood there observing the sugary treats, the more her eyes were pulled upwards towards the tea options written in pretty handwriting on the chalk board. "I just want tea, I think, mum ... chamomile sounds nice ... " when out in public with so many strangers around, her voice and energy was always so much more muted. It was a bit easier when she was at school with her own age group, because most people her age didn't really have things to worry about besides a boy or two pulling on someone's hair. But adults and teenagers had so much to worry about and often were bogged down with a lot of emotions. Being out in public was hard ... "You should get the mint one ... "

Hmmn. Burvia had actually been in more of a mood for something made from an oolong or a roobois, but something minty sounded nice. It would cleanse her pallet and ready her for whatever delicious nugget of goodness she chose to eat. Gale be damned if she didn't want one! "Alright, hun. Why don't you go and grab us a seat and I'll be there with our teas in just a moment."Gale nodded and headed off silently, and Burvia waited until she was out of earshot to let out a nervous breath of air. Oooh, goodness! How was she going to tell Gale? She was so easily upset. She really worried about her, but Burvia knew her own worries would only make Gale worse. She had to calm down. She had to stop worry about what could go wrong and just believe it would have positive outcomes, and it would. "Hello~!" Burvia gave her best smile as she smoothed down the front of her dress. It was finally her turn to order! "May I please get one of your chocolate filled croissants, the smallest size you have of your comfort tea -- the lemon chamomile one -- and your mint majesty, please?" Burvia took out her card in anticipation to hear the total. The barista quickly gathered the items she had requested and slid them towards her on a tray, and Burvia swiped her card through the ore machine, and once approved, the Geist picked up the silver tray with a happy little 'thank you' and made her way over to join her daughter who had taken up a spot by the window in the far back, empty corner, watching the passerbyers walk by.

Gale had been lost in thought when her mother finally came to join her. She had hardly noticed her mom set the tray down, and it was the chair pulling against the tile that made Gale perk up again, snapping her head back to her mom in shock. When she realized it was just Burvia, Gale relaxed and gave a soft sigh of relief. "Oh, it's you!" she said with a small little laugh. "The tea smells good already ... is this one mine?"The hybrid reached out and grabbed the tea and unhooked the tea strainer from the side and sniffed it. Yup! That was chamomile alright! Chamomile was one of her favorites ... The girl swirled the tea ball around in her drink to try and steep it faster as her mother finally settled in at her seat and pulled the tray closer to her so she could keep the crumbs off the table as much as possible. Gale's purple eyes shifted to gaze up at her mother. She could tell something was on her mind ... but ... what ... ?
