Xarnith was taking a break, he had been training but now he was just refreshing himself. Taking a long swig from his waterskin he took a deep breath. He had every intention of fixing up his shield in the next settlement. His Uncle was teaching him a few thing and he wanted to apply them to the weapon. He looked back to where the wooden and metal shield rested on a nearby rock. His sling which he sometimes let Torvarith sleep in as they traveled laid next to it. He hummed walking towards it.
"I should dye it. A few colors to make it brighter..." he mused a little. He knew he didn't have a good eye or head for that sort of thing. Sitting he took a few deep breaths. Then still sitting crossed legged, he started to stretch back. Something he found he could do with little effort was move in ways his Uncle said were key to assassins. Though he wouldn't really have a use for the movement in a real battle, it was still good to keep limber. As Xarn reached the ground behind him the youth flipped up to his feet. Then kept moving in ways that one wouldn't expect.

Bisera's dark eyes were currently on the ground, walking slowly along the edge of the path, with him occasionally pausing to nudge at something that caught his eye. He didn't want to miss anything interesting that might be naturally occurring or possibly dropped. Something glittering caught his eye, causing him to take a couple quick steps forward, before he squatted down to scoop it up, "Huh... pretty." He murmured to himself, looking the glittering green stone. It wasn't like the stones in Sauti, meaning that his journey was already looking up as far as new materials went. Lifting his gaze from the stone he was starring at his eyes suddenly locked on something else, something new, a... person? Pushing to his feet he brushed himself off, giving him a once over. A member of the Wind Tribe and a shield baring guard, one who had a strong look to him. Bisera's eyes scanned the man before him, taking in the color of his eyes, crystals, his skin, and hair, everything about him was just... lovely. His mind set to whirling, hands itching for his sketch journal which was sitting in the pouch he carried. The glittering stone in his hand was quickly exchanged for that sketch pad and his drawing utensil before he squatted down, instantly working on a sketching the one before him. His lines, the flow of his form, his flowing hair, all of it was giving him ideas and so he didn't lose them he knew that he had to put the man's form down on paper.

Xarn slowed then stopped, chest heaving as he panted. He slipped off the top part of his body suit. Picking up a rag to wipe himself free of the sweat. He shivered in the breeze but put up with it. He looked up at the clouds, ears picking up the sounds of someone else there. He glanced over seeing a glittering stone. Someone was there...he looked over at them. "Who's there?"

Bisera's hand gave pause on the sketch he was doing, lifting his dark eyes to glance toward the one that was calling out to him. His mind whirled for a moment before he realized tha the was doing it again. Oops... he really did need to get better at greeting people and saying hello before he got distracted with his sketching. Pushing up on his feet he hugged his journal to his chest, starring at Xarnith for a moment, then said, "I... ahh... sorrry..." Taking a couple steps forward he lifted his hands to show he wasn't a threat. He didn't want the man to think tha the was up to anything, though remaining out of arm's reach of the other man, just in case. One couldn't be too careful he thought to himself before he said, "Hello there... I'm Bisera, just a passerby, sorry to have bothered you." Time to see if the man before him was the dangerous sort he thought to himself idly. There was a part of him that wished Daelin was about, he bet that he'd know how to deal with the many dangers that travel held. Things that Bisera couldn't exactly stand up against since he wasn't armed... a thought that reminded him that one day he really should get himself a dagger even if only for show.

Xarnith tilted his head as he watched the newcomer. Muscles tense till he saw them fully. It looked female, though he realized early in life you couldn't be too sure. Crossing his arms, shirtless by all accounts he cocked a hip to examine the other. The young guard uncrossed his arms, teardrop shaped crystals glittered across his shoulders and upper arms. He walked back to his waterskin and took a few long glups from it. Then glanced to the other. "Here." He offered the water skin. "You look like you've been traveling for a while. My name's Xarnith."

Blinking a couple times Bisera's eyes went to the water skin that was offered to him, deciding instantly that it should be alright. The man had taken a sip from it after all thus proving that it probably wasn't poisonous or anything. The fact that he didn't seem to be upset with Bisera's earlier starring only added to the manner in which Bisera looked at him. After a moment he gave a smile and a nod, some of his jewelry clinking together as he took the waterskin from the one who called himself Xarnith, "I thank you." He said, taking a sip from the water skin, "I've been traveling for a while now, coming from Mez in Sauti." Tucking his sketch journal back into his pack, took another sip of the water, and then held it out to Xarnith once more. Best to give it back before he was tempted to drink it all, as sweet as it tasted the water didn't belong to him. Still, perhaps the other man could help him out in that manner? Giving his best smile he asked, "Is there any chance that I might be able to get a point in the direction of where I might be able to restock my supplies, Xarnith? I must admit that this trip is the first I've ever taken away so far from my home village." He wasn't exactly lost per say, he just didn't know where anything was... not that he wanted to admit to such a thing to someone he just met.

Xarnith blinked at the other. Voice pitch said that the newcomer was indeed male, interesting. He tilted his head thinking about that. "Sauti. My clan comes from there, though I have little memory of the place. We left it when I was young. As for supplies...you can find lots around you if you look. I've gotten used to living off the land since its how I've lived my whole life. Here...there's some water not too far from here." He walked over to his belongings and wrapped them up in his sling. Slipping it over one shoulder he stayed shirtless as he was still cooling off. "This way." he started to lead the way.

Living off the land? It was likely something he should learn how to do one of these days, not as though he could very well continue to just purchase everything for the rest of his life. Well, actually, he could... but learning to fend for himself would help as far as expenses went. Not to mention that it would mean taking care of himself with his own two hands. If he was lucky his older brothers might end up with some sort of grudging respect for Bisera if he was at least able to do something like that. He thought about it for a moment, then pushed that thought aside, not wanting to think too hard on it. If he did then he'd find himself sorely disappointed when he did meet with them again and they were still the same old hard asses as they ever were. "I've only left Mez on one occassion in the past so I am not quite ready for the living off the land thing, but any tips you can provide will prove helpful." He would be only too happy to take him up on any advice that he might be able to give and with it he might be able to continue ever forward with his journey toward... well, wherever he was going. Bisera didn't want to admit to himself or the one before him that he wasn't sure where the journey was takng him. Away from his older brothers was all he wanted presently. Adjusting his pack on his shoulder Bisera followed along after Xarnith as he turned to lead the way, "You have my thanks, Xarnith." He said, glancing from side to side before his eyes locked on the man's back, inspecting him closely, taking in the manner in which the muscles moved. Taking a couple steps forward, giving him a smile he lifted a hand, about to reach out when he realized what he was doing. Jerking his hand back he made sure both were holding onto the strap on his pack to make himself behave.

Xarnith smiled though the other male didn't see it. "Your welcome. As you keep traveling you'll figure things out. There are small guides you can buy from peddlers in settlements that tell you what's safe and what's not." As they walked he glanced back seeing the other's hand move. Did the male want to touch him? Did he have a vision issue? If that was the case Xarn wasn't being too kind. Without much warning beyond a simple word of, "Here." he reached back to take the other males hand. Gently pulling Bisera to his side. He spoke as they walked. "The small stream I found around here is rather interesting. It flows from under a few trees. Natural filter or something...I apologize if I seem rude. Is your sight impaired at all? Is that why you stare?"

"Guides? I see... I will have to look into such things." Best that he did to avoid being eaten by a dangerous animal or ingesting something that was toxic to Earthlings. The last thing he wanted was to get himself killed a short time into his journey or else his brothers were sure to mock him even as they buried him. He was dragged out of that thought as Xarnith suddenly took hold of his hand, pulling him along, something that drew a bit of a squeak from him, "I... um... huh?" He fell silent as he was led along, a little embarrassed by the fact that Xarnith was leading him around by the hand. Where were they heading he found himself thinking, something Xarnith explained to him a moment later. "Trees that filter the water? Wow." He murmured, quite impressed by the idea that there were trees capable of such a thing. Of course his awe and interest were instantly quelled by what Xarnith said next, "Huh? I... um... oh no..." Lifting his hands up Bisera used them to cover his now brightly red face. He'd was starring that bad? To the point that Xarnith was thinking that he was impaired? How embarrassing... utterly so. Giving a rapid shake of his head Bisera said, "I'm... sorry I should just..." Leave, go hide somewhere, and hope that Xarnith forgot about Bisera and his horrible starring habits. Turning on his heel he started to walk away from Xarnith at a quick pace, hoping to get away before he did anything else stupid. A desire that was shattered when his foot got tangled in a root and he tripped, landing face first on the ground. From there Bisera just hid his face against his arms, hoping that Xarnith hadn't noticed or had chosen to walk the other way instead of seeing Bisera make a fool of himself.

Xarn blinked as the other reacted. Well, that was unexpected. He tilted his head then cringed at the fall. "Bisera. You were starring because you liked what you saw?" he quirked an eyebrow. Then walked over, picking up the smaller wind male. "Come on. It wouldn't be right of me to not help you. Your lost." He had picked up on that once the other had started talking. "Stick close to me, I'll teach you. I don't mind. It'll give me something to do. Besides, I'm curious as to why you were starring..."

Bisera's blushing only got worse at the comment about him 'liking what he saw', "I... what? No... maybe, but it's not exactly like that... I don't mean any insult." His voice started off louder but sort of fizzled out to a whisper at the end. This was so embarrassing, making Bisera want nothing more then to go hide somewhere and hope that Xarnith just... went away. His wounded pride didn't have that sort of luck though it would appear as he was scooped up off the ground as though he weighed nothing. Lifting his gaze he looked toward Xarnith, then quickly away again, clutching his pack against his chest as he was carried along. "You don't... have to feel obligated just because I'm looking a bit pathetic." A 'bit' seemed like an understatement to Bisera but he didn't say that out loud. Instead he looked away for a moment, then back again, "Huh? Oh..." He was willing to teach him since he had nothing else to do and was also curious about Bisera's starring. That comment made him tighten his hold on his pack a bit more. How completely embarrassing.

The fact that he could be humiliating the smaller male escaped Xarn completely. At least until he looked down and really took in Bisera's current plight. He looked around, seeing no one else and then just kept going. Once they got to the small stream Xarn put the other male on his own feet. Then put his makeshift pack down for a few moments as he turned with his hands on his hips. "Well, what do you do for living that brings you all the way out here? Sauti is a rather long walk after all." as he spoke the male pulled out a lightweight blanket. Flapping it out he laid it out and sat down. He wasn't one to just randomly sit on the forest floor. You could never tell what had been there before you. He gestured to the other half of the blanket. "I'm out here training. As you were watching earlier." his tone then sounded a bit curious. "Did I really look that mesmerizing?"

Bisera felt a bit better as he was put on his feet, feeling at least in control of himself once more even though he knew if it came down to an actual battle he'd be in trouble. How could someone Bisera's size stand against someone strong enough to carry him around as though he weighed nothing after all? Giving a shake of his head he set to brushing himself off before glancing toward Xarn who was asking him about what he did for a living and what brought him here since Sauti was a wasys off. He looked down at his feet for a moment, toeing at one of the rocks there, before looking up again. Did he really tell him? Should he claim to be a powerful magic user so the other guy didn't think to try anything? He didn't want to lie though since he might be a good guy. "I... I'm a jeweler in training... I came here because I want to find new materials, things that one can't find in Sauti." He explained, digging into his pack so that he could fetch the stone he'd jump found. Holding it out to where the warrior could see he said, "We don't have this sort of stone back home, so already I seem to be doing alright." Well, at least until Xarn had caught him starring not once but twice he thought to himself. "Eh? M-Mesmerizing? I... yes, but not in the way you're thinking exactly! I am not... not some sort of pervert who stares at people for no reason! It's just you have a nice... ahh... no..." He blinked a couple times thens hook his head, "It's just, the way you move. I get mesmerized by the way muscles move, the forms, it gives me inspriation." His words starting out strong and sort of ended up with him muttering them, unable to look at Xarn anymore for the moment.

Xarnith nodded. "Makes sense. There are many different crystals and stones to be found outside Sauti." he coughed a little looking away. It seemed as if he was blushing lightly. "I wasn't implying you were...uh...yeah...I don't mind." he was being honest. He didn't mind at all the other male was a artist. Even if he didn't really have much of a creative bone himself. He looked around. "Did you want help?"
