I'm redoing the den, from the ground up. Im using forumotion, I have advertisements with other internet roleplays, and I figured I enjoyed this enough why not? I don't even know who is still subscribed to this, at this point I don't even care. if anyone reads this, let it be known I will put the link of the new reformed den into a post here. Anyone coming from this Guild gets special benefits and possible crew positions. I copied bits and pieces from the site because it isn't going to get any other use at this point. Well, hope to see atleast one person come from this site. If not, Merry Christmas, probably wont talk to anyone from here again after it's made.

I was Reconstructing it. Adding new ideas, making things make sense, NOT adding the time skip while making the compeers somewhat enjoyable with a few races to pick, or let people make their own evenly powered race which would be their own problem. I mean so much of this guild is salvageable for another idea because most of it never got used! Never got played with so it sat in a corner to rot. I can change the whole idea in a matter of seconds, YOU KNOW I CAN DO THAT. You've seen me pull an elephant from my rear end, you've seen me turn a few sentences in a book. If you wanna be on board with this new site, I will let you! I'll accept you with open arms! I will give you a crew position, basically what positions you and I have here I can give you, but instead of a thread or guild you'd have it over a site of its own focused on itself. I loved the idea of the Den, that's where I got my best character ever. I mean I have never gotten involved with any of my chars EVER, than I have with Zombie. Bits and pieces of his biography are from my life, his attitude is a more corrupt and straight forward version of mine, literally having nothing to call a family for years, I can't watch him die. I can recreate him for other things, but this was what he was meant to be. With what me and my partner have now, with things that I've added to EVERYTHING on what I've pulled off here, I can recreate it into anything. Change names, places, focus, absolutely everything that I can touch I can turn. Leave it in your word doc? Do you know how much this has actually helped me? How I'm slightly ashamed that a single character has helped me more than the therapists I've visited helped me because I could relate more with my own creation than someone blowing smoke up my rear end for the money they get in the end? To say it shouldn't have left the word doc is kind of insulting Socks, because even if something is a bad idea, some one will love it. They will love that idea. Never be ashamed of that. Honestly the reason this died out quickly was adding too much to it without describing it. Didn't make sense, nobody could follow it, and it got confusing. Nothing made sense because there was too much added That wasn't part of the site originally. That's why I set it up with its own website, but if you think I'd be better of editing the piss out of it into my own little thing, I probably should. I can, just takes extra time. I love the concept so I may keep the concept, but change up everything else.

Dude you can't imagine how many times you had me laughing with Tobias an his sister constantly ripping on Mollec being an idiot xD. But here is my idea, thought up immediately after looking at what you responded to me with involving the rings. Yeah I know its a bit sloppy, I can fix that later. This is just my rough draft so to speak. I gave the rings a deeper purpose too.


I call it, The Grand Haven Rebellion. I thought of this in 10 seconds, just took a while to write it. I have a darling girl helping me with this so she is going to add stuff too since she has been helping to an extreme point to make the site, so yeah, its staying on valor. New area, Soldiers surviving for later use incase we wanna bring back chars, and so forth. I'd love to discuss the new RP with you and with my female friends help, fresh mind fresh ideas, and she is smart enough to cover stuff we miss.


Shortly after the attacks on Denzeka, the union had won. All it took was a final raid, day in and day out the union sent everything they had at the den. Many of the civilians were captured and used as live stock, the Guardians... went to sleep. The union captured the remaining guardians after their final attack and placed them in a Cryo-Stasis sleep. They were put on ice. Decades went by, the remaining guardians that were the Dens last hope took a long sleep. Why didn't the union kill them? The stasis prevented them from going to their god, the perfect punishment the union had considering most the guardians were human. The alien guardians were taken to a different sector to have their fate be decided. So, what does that mean? Shouldn't this be the end? It was far from the end, far, far from it. The overseers had noticed the union far before they attacked, and initiated the Valorian Planetary Defense Protocol. Otherwise known as The Rings of The Valorian Gods.

The rings floated outside of the planet, used for interstellar airports. Little cities inside these massive rings that wrapped around the planet, stuck on the planets gravity. These rings had tubes that connected them from space to the ground, to transport things from the massive airships. The union took control of these rings and prevented help from travelling to the surface of the planet. Once the union attacked, the Overseers initiated the Protocol. It took years, decades after the Protocol was initiated for it to take effect. Once it did, hell took over. The Valorian Protocol released a virus, a bio-genetic bomb that targeted the races of the union and poured the chemicals throughout these rings, similar to what the union did to the valerian race to exterminate them except it attacked multiple races, not just one. A plague of sorts tore through and the union soldiers got sick, and as they got sick, help was sent by their army to aid them. Little did they know they walked right into a trap. With nobody to watch over the Cryo-pods that held the once ungodly band of demonic soldiers, they opened up. Releasing hell on the surviving members of the union that were in these rings at the time of the chemical release in special suits to delay sickness.

The soldiers and remaining civilians escaped down the tubes and took refuge in an abandoned city, the original den being reduced to rubble in the final attack. The union had to send in new troops as the chemicals were released to the ground beneath, spreading toxins to the union troops that resided in the final clean up of the planet. The union had to come up with a new idea. They needed new races, ones to take over the planet once again. They were desperate now. Except one thing stopped them from invading again, planet Valor had its own EMP like structure that shrouded the planet. Anything not built inside the planet dropped from orbit once the EMP field struck the ships. So, the union did indeed get new races, ones the bomb didn't affect. They pulled from the surrounding planets inhabitants, a kind of Join us or Die type situation. They joined, hit the planet's surface, and began hunting the surviving members of what was the Den.

Its a shame, i'd really would love to rp in a small group but my friend isn't willing to try a different forum site. Plus i've established to many rps here to start going back and forth. and yeah, i know about time. How about this, maybe we can have a small forum just to discuss on the matters of the Den time line and concept, this way all four of us can share our ideas no need to rp just share our ideas and combined it into a solid concept. (seriously, i'd love to discuss this with all of us present. I want to meet the newest member to the Den family. I mean people joined our Guild because they liked the idea but i wanted people to join and help further expand it. Not many of them did that.)

Think of the Den as star wars. There are so many stories to focus on.
So if you have too much on your plate, i know because i'm about to head off to college, just one more year after this school year and i have to start using my time more efficiently.

So I'm going to try to establish the time line up to the point of the Den's story arc, because ultimately, the den has to fall and i'm going to follow that arc in the rp here.

So let's start.

Atlas is the original homeworld of the humans. They're technology has advanced and after finally establishing a unified but imperfect government, the Atlas government, is divided into smaller sub groups to represent different countries of the homeworld. The government began to expand and spread its people outwards into the stars. Once the countries divided the sectors of the system among themselves, the began colonizing. (I'll go into that later, we have multiple subgroup country governments in the Atlas confederacy.)

The spread of the human race began to allure the Union Armada, feeling disgusted that the weak humans are spreading like a disease so quickly. Though a portion of the Union Armada do fight for beliefs and their own religion, a majority of the Union Armada is out for it in the name of science. They seek out to run experiments on the humans and also see how they've managed to survive for so long and grow so quickly. The Union Armada wages war with the Atlas government after the Pylos incident, a colony ship was ambushed by an entire fleet and abducted most of the humans, hijacked the ship and returned to one of the colony planets and sent their message of war to the colony planet. After that, the rest of the fleet attacked that colony planet and the war began.

We are aware that the colonies are divided into sections and quadrants, the outer section and the inner section. The Milos quadrants, Omega quadrants, Shinigami quadrants, and the Zeta Quadrant (the countries quadrants. The Den is in the Milos Quadrant, which is colonized by the more European type of country back on Atlas.) The attack begins in the outer sections of the four quadrants, this is where Valor is attacked and many others, a few managed to survive and are in the same position or similar position as Valor. Some were overrun and the remaining humans live in an apocalyptic world ruled by the Union government (the science portion) who allowed them to live but under their rule. sidenote: The religious portion of the Union desire to wipe out the civilizations and start new with terraforming

I don't need to establish Valorian history we already know that. we can clarify on it later. Human-Valorian war, peace, Valorian Rings were created, then the pathogen bomb, blah blah blah.

So the Den remains, evey pure-bred valorian has been wiped out on the surface of the planet by the pathogen bomb, the only remaining ones are in the hands of the Union in the Rings. The union that occupy the Valorian planet is a mixture of both the religious and scientific branch of the Union they thought that the two forces could attack the planet swiftly and move onto the next planet. The Relgious portion (the Nexus) came up with the idea of the pathogen bomb and it was developed by the scientific portion (The Orthodox)

The Orthodox are the ones currently attacking the Den and using the Nexus army as fodder, they manage to eventually tear down the Den and overrun the city, resulting and the citizens to flee and the guardians to defend their escape, any guardian left at the den who didn't flee were either captured or bombed with the rest of the city. The den citizens retreated and found shelter in the underground city of Lievon, they city survived underground and began to spread underground without being detected by the Union. other cities were founded with the help of Lievon and the Den began to re-establish and create New Denzeka in a mountain canyon that keeps it hidden by Union technology because of an odd force field around the mountain canyon.

During that time period the Guardians who were in cyro-stasis are woken up (I think i'm gonna make it so Toby and Lane's children grow up, they escape with the rest of the citizens, Charlotte MIGHT stay on the planet and either die defending or raise Toby and Lane's children for them....dunno) So after the incident in the rings which releases the frozen guardians, the Union recruit more into their armada accepting more races of aliens in and even opening their reserves of elite Unions who were to be used in the attack on Atlas. During the twenty year time lapse while the legendary guardians slept in the rings, the Atlas government became more united, they accepted aid from friendly aliens who resented the Union Armada and its Order.

Please allow me to work with the concepts of the aliens on both factions i want to artistically describe that the Union at this point will accept any race that share their common goal of domination so beastly alien races and just outright alien races with their own intentions and ambitions which would result in some planets being subjugated into even worst attacks. the aiding aliens are to be represented as either closely human or peaceful in a sense, mysterious, or advanced in order for the human race to improve alongside them. So it's a contract, the The aliens that join the union have to be more savaged, in order to display that the Union is weathering down and whatever originally had them collaborate together is slowly tearing them apart. so there is an exception of a splinter group or traitors in the union that ally themselves with the humans. The Compeer idea, i want to improve because i feel that its going to be almost a master x puppet idea, in which the alien is simply just a puppet in which the human feeds its power off of, i want to make it so they need one another and they are equals.


I want to add that we both should agree on the idea or at least compromise in order to add anything else to the timeline and plot that way we can both happily follow the Den in our separate rps without one another worrying about conflicts. I feel bad that i established so many types of classes...Unfortunately we may have to cut a few loose because its not necessary and have to purpose in the rp over all I mean as much as i enjoyed the Titans, i felt that it wasn't really all too good, maybe we can make it light something like a more armored up spartan tank role. Because giant robots really don't play in the setting of the den. The union may have big infantry weapons but the use of Giant robots isn't really needed. How about we give the titans better equipment instead of giant robots, maybe an exoskeleton more that provide more armor? compared to a harbinger's spartan like nanite armor, the Titans have a more bulky set of armor that enhance their human capabilities? i'd draw out a concept design but i still need to practice on this art program x.x and i'm not trashing on the Titans, some of my classes have to go or change.

My sweet friend didnt like the way I worded things, so here is the finished story. Several things we messed up on were explained, the story was extended and thoroughly scrubbed to clean it up. The original story was slightly tweaked to make sense, and after the story of Denzeka finished the story of its destruction began and how the guardians were taken. Civilians got turned to livestock (and carefully bred, so there will be civilians to save) and guardians who have children are separated from their kids to torture the guardians more. Their kids aren't killed, but frozen as they would be into the guardian program if they ever got older. After the rebellion several guardians decided to be refrozen until they were needed, so you can have kids which can be alts like Tobias and Charlotte, or you can raise them naturally. Of course the structural figure of the overseer will be made to 2, as it is me and my friend who are creating it, and they will be robots so they do not die and can continue to watch the civilians and guardians.

Of course you can do the timeline, I want you to see the story and figure out things from that.

A few of the union that never got to be in the union are going to be reused, like gladiators and such, the union needs to recruit different races so that gives the guardians the idea of compeers while allowing different species to keep things interesting, and right now I'm just working on the small kinks.

Characters will have a timeline so your marriage and children will be documented instead of spoken. We are covering the basics man.

My friend has 9 characters lined up for the den, but she said she dont like the way Gaia is set up. Ill consider joining you, I just gotta be very careful with my time. I gotta business I gotta run soon as the owner, and I got college. I wanna get this site for the new den done before the business opens up in the next few months. Many years ago, back when times seemed evidently peaceful, humans got cocky. We had experienced technological leaps and bounds far surpassing the era of our time and the time to come. We had established a sensitive and quiet peace in our era. We had discovered new planets, new life, and progressively leaped into the future with both feet forward. As our world died from testing our devices of war, we knew we had to find somewhere else to go, and as our technology far outclassed anything else in our universe but where could we have possibly gone? We were indestructible, and we could move our people to one of these planets to prove it. One ship, the human race created one ship that took every single survivor to a new home, one we would conquer and call our own. Or so we thought. And in doing so, we challenged monsters and became monsters ourselves.

Since our phenomenal move, the aliens we provoked have proven to be stronger than anything we could have expected. The Den is one of the last remaining Safe Havens of the planet Valor, a planet with the same oxygen content as earth, but with a cost. Higher gravity. Planet Valor houses many innocent people and the ones who protect them- the last soldiers against this powerful force: The Guardians. You are one of these Guardians. The Guardians are recruited at a young age, at about 8-10 to start training, and each Guardian specializes in an occupation which is assigned to them at age 15. These occupations that every single Guardian has is called their Avocation, which will vary depending on how the Guardian works in combat. The Guardians' job is to protect the city from anything ranging from bandit attacks to alien attacks since The Den's energy field is not going to always protect the people.

These Guardians are sent on missions to destroy nearby enemy camps, find ancient technology, gather supplies that might run low, and protecting small forts around the city. Guardians can team up with other Guardians, if they want, on missions that are given to them, or missions they assigned themselves in the name of protecting people. Everything was in a stand still of peace until the Union, a group of terror bringing beasts of aliens attacked Valor. They destroy planets as a game, their military does its job to take over a planet, kill its inhabitants, and starve the planet of its resources. Once this happens, they harness the cores of the planets as a power source for their war ships. This was their rule of take over, they dared not ruin their own fun which was possibly the saving grace of Valor along with the stubbornness of the human/alien military that defended itself against them. The Union set a space blockade and prevented any aid besides a few kamikaze drop ships to give extra supplies to the Guardians at the cost of the pilots lives.

Now that the Union had nearly wiped out the inhabitants of the planet, they started attacking what was known as Denzeka, a partial human partial alien city. This was the final city before killing off the races that lived outside of the cities, except they underestimated this small city's anger and firepower. The humans were occupied while waiting for the Union to come for them and started creating ugly weapons of mass destruction. They needed the help to survive the Union attacks, and for the longest time they managed to hold back these warmonger creatures until the final moments of peace were torn from the human race's hands. One attack after another until the Guardians were worn down to a few thousand in numbers, tens of thousands of Union bodies riddled the ground outside of Denzeka at the cost of hundreds of Guardians. The attacks never stopped though as the Union developed a more psychological way of warfare after hacking and accessing the Guardian files, and created realistic holograms to bring these soldiers to their knees. Some Guardians went insane from this mental torture and it was exactly what the Union wanted.

If need be while we discuss I can copy and paste what she says to my posts for her. All depends. And I'll take it as you aren't going to be joining the dedicated site? From what I read I'm pretty confused. I mean I'm against using Gaia anymore as a means for a new rp, many of the people here want to participate instead of help, and Gaia has dwindled in the 10 years I've been here. Like dramatic numbers have gone! So that's why I have the dedicated site. There will be staff positions just like the guild.

Don't really understand the quadrant part all to well. I'm an excellent creator, not so good of an understander so ill apologize in advance.

And I feel like part of the timeline conflicts with the Re-edited story really badly. If the civilians escape there will be no need for the cryostasis and that messes up quite a bit of the stuff I've developed but haven't shared yet. Like the surviving guardians that freed the rings are now brandished with a new title instead of forerunner or groundling, and returning guardians from the original sites on Gaia gain this title, extra stats exclusive to them, an extra weapon, and an extra piece of equipment. I have a section built on the story of what happened on the rings once the guardians were freed, and as for the cryostasis idea it gives us the CLEAN SLATE thing you told me to do so I'm just following what you ask. The den would be wiped out, civilization would move onto a different city and recolonize. I want to put this 100-600 years into the future after Denzeka was crushed, that way its so CLEAN SLATE its unbelievable. Guardians and such who recolonized the new city can get refrozen and then unfrozen when they are needed. This can work with toby and lanes kids theory. But again I worded the story the way I did because I did what you asked and let the original story die, this is the recreation, the aftermath of what happened where we left off.

I'm trying to make this as ******** and understandable as possible, if i need to add more (why I say I is that I still don't know if either of you are joining) I can. Right now I'm just extremely confused on what's going on man, nothing is adding up to me.

8. Makes sense, alright. Brand new union aliens, and new atlas aliens. Zombie is being a compeer on the dedicated site with one of my friends 11 (yes, 11 characters. One compeer pair that is a medic pair because medic will be a more unused) alts. Compeers are interesting.

9. The amount of classes in the dedicated site are going to be more than useful for the amount of people I'm hoping to have. The idea of titans being reduced to small human tanks is acceptable, but it is to be a determined class like the reapers, harbingers, and ect. Not everyone can have one, which is why there will be raffles to win to gain one of these classes. The titans can be nerfed to be human based without mechs, get special weapons and equipment like the special classes, and so forth.

I did that so it didnt seem rushed. The time limit thing, basically building civilization from scratch. The idea though of the genetics is pretty interesting, and the way I got the site setting up, equipment runs off a battery the players keep track of instead of the "he said she said" running around like a god theory. Ever notice in the guild how common it was for people to do that? Extremely. And thanks, I put quite a bit of time in developing that after the original story ended. I have so much already on the dedicated site as is. Lotta time and headache.

I totally respect the dedicated site to the Den but i rather you not cut ties off here because i still want to develop the den alongside you except we both are just on different sites. If you have a steam. feel free to add me just as long as communication can still remain. heck we can have a small group in steam just to talk about the rp idea. DON'T RP ON STEAM, it's awful. That way the Den doesn't go out of control on either sides. I'd rather prefer a solid concrete idea and then some things going of in tangents but eventually returning back to the solid idea. I would join the dedicated site, maybe reserve a spot or two. Because i have so many rps here and i go on here for just rps never the drama, never the people. I've grown out of that. There are a very few amount of people here i talk to now and i cut others off because of the bs drama. I grew to just go on here just to reply and sometimes play dress up when i'm bored.

The Quadrants. imagine the homeworld Atlas and the planets surrounding it in other systems. Imagine it as a pi graph and divide it into four sections each shared among the four sub governments of the atlas Confederacy. Basically, these quadrants have different racial majorities. the Den being in the Milos Quadrant and the outer sector means that they are of original European decent. etc

Two branches of the Union Order. The Union was a pact of originally two species of aliens who one side, spread their religion among the other races they have dominated over and the other half, spread through their experimentation and desire for scientific progression. A majority of the religious half are very focused on terminating other species who do no worship their deities the scientific half though some may be open-minded, their scientific pursuit tends to lead them down unethical methods of experimentation. The Nexus is the religious half, they believe in multiple deities and they had spread their faith out among the alien races they conquered thus further growing their size. The Orthodox, the scientific half, lean towards experimentation, mainly towards other species and tend to be open-minded. But we also have members in either halves that mix the two beliefs.

see the cyrostasis idea can still be kept and we can have a clean wipe without having to have such an exaggerated amount of time. i don't think a war can exist for hundreds of years neither side ever enjoys war. And i highly doubt anyone really wants to be a cyrostasis guardian. if you start the rp based on after the waking of the guardians, then the new members may join in easily. if not then only a few who joined the rp at an earlier time may join think of it like beta testing.

Forerunners don't exist that race of aliens died long ago before the valorians took over. see groundlings was a smaller concept in the Den rp, it was meant to show that even the humans don't get along with one another. in the cyrostasis. I meant that the civilians and the guardians that survived eventually began to rebuild, older guardians passed down their knowledge and became trainers instead of guardians. Then the new batch of guardians began to plan on freeing the frozen guardians. See the cyrostasis is a really good idea and yes i am aware of the conflict, i'm pretty sure very few from this guild may even consider joining back. as much as i would love to join your site, i'm afraid of just watching it burn down again and no offense to you because i'm contributing ideas too and it's my fault too if it fails again.

However, the clean slate is too unbelievable. a war lasting for hundreds of years? its not likely. A decade or a decade and a half would be better or at least more realistic, as it would also provide frozen guardians to be awoken in a new Valor in which aid had finally arrived and the Atlas forces finally breached through and reached Valor. Maybe what happens during the Waking of the Cyro Guardians occurs alongside an attack by the Atlas government. Meaning, prior to the attack the Den and the other cities that have survived, managed to get communication through with the Atlas government and on the day of the attack, the Atlas fleet arrived to distract the armada and provide more aide as the Guardians on the planet rescue the frozen guardians.

As for the aliens i mean it as in that the Union is struggling to provide more troops after the decade that has passed because it's spent its resources fighting a war on other Quardrants, therefore they hire aliens to join or quickly invade other planets to use them into their army. So the depiction of these aliens are going to be crude, savages, and just the kind of aliens you would see in an alien movie where the aliens are the monsters.
For the Atlas government, they ally themselves with alien races that despise the Union, many of them will look more human like. These friendly aliens will be less complex compared to the Union aliens and more simplistic like humans, much like the valorians.

For Classes, special classes such as Reapers, Harbingers, Titans. they can ultimately become promotions in a sort of way. since it's not easy to pick those worthy of actually not overpowering themselves with these classes. That way if you find someone who's really trusted and someone you know can surely represent a class without going to be overpowering, they can be promoted. that way it saves time of having to make a new character for those people who win a raffle. plus i want to work on upgrading the classes and improve their tech that way it just goes along with the years that have gone pass.
