Did you watch the new Super Smash Bros. direct today? What are your thoughts on it?
Are you happy with new character that were announced? or are you disappointed with the new characters?
What characters were you hoping to be in Super Smash Bros?

Bayonetta was worth all of it tbh I literally screamed out loud when she popped up ugh my beautiful witch wife heart
I'm a little disappointed with Corrin, though. That brings up the number of FE characters to six I think? And that's a lot. Like there's only seven Mario characters if I'm counting correctly which makes FE like the second most represented franchise in the game?
I was really hoping for a different character, like something obscure and unexpected. I'm a huge nerd so I'm always hoping for Derek Stiles from Trauma Center, even though it's unrealistic. But hey, a TC character wouldn't have been too weird, since Trauma Team just got released on the eShop last week. wink
More realistically, though, Waluigi is long overdue >>

It was pretty good. Didn't expect Bayonetta at all so that was a nice surprise. She looks real good based on what they showed.
No idea who this Corrin dude is so I don't care for them much. I'd rather have someone else other than him. I really wanted King K. Rool. He would've been such a good character and there's already only 2 DK characters.
I'll take whatever new characters I get though. Corrin could end up being fun.

I'm not disappointed at all. I hardly play Smash now, but I think the characters look amazing and have very unique ways of attacking. I love their designs and looking at Corrin even made me consider buying Fire Emblem Fates, his design alone perked my interest.
Bayonetta is just plain elegant and lovely, I'm tempted to play that game too. rofl
As I said before, I hardly play Smash now, so I wan't all that concerned about what characters were getting in. rofl

I watched it yesterday and it was fine. nothing too amazing. I was hoping that some little known character would pop up and become a fighter. However, I don't really cared for the two new ones they announced. It is really a shame. Booker the Ace I'm a little disappointed with Corrin, though. Huh, yeah, Pokemon does have a lot of characters, too. That was the other one that bothered me when Smash first came out. xp idk, I feel like there should be kind of an equal spread when it comes to representation in Smash and not have any franchises have considerably more characters. For like Mario it makes sense because Smash was more or less initially Mario and Friends Beat Each Other Up, but like other than that, just a few characters max from each franchise would be enough, I think.

I was highly amused by the nintendo direct. I basically fangirled like crazy. I can't wait to play as Corin because of Dragon... Well that and I like Fire Emblem games. However Bayonetta will be the most amusing character I have ever played as. I cant wait till February. >w<
