Mano was on a walk through Jauhar, his eyes scanning the terrain, a curious look on his face. Since his talk with Sauron he'd found himself debating over the idea of getting himself a pet. Did he want one? Was he responsible enough to take care of one? Would it run off when it realized that his main priority was flirting? He didn't know a lot about animals but Sauron seemed to think that they were a useful thing. Radaku especially were useful, could be used as mounts, would allow him to travel further distances a lot easier. It was tempted, but he wasn't sure yet. He'd need to watch others take care of them more and then maybe he'd be able to figure out if a pet was for him.

His serious thoughts about if he was ready for something like a pet suddenly flew completely out the window as he spotted something that interested him more. Not only something more interesting but not something that someone saw in Jauhar that often, a member of the Wind Tribe. His heart set to beating a little faster as his mind went to the members of that tribe that he'd met in the past and he found himself starting forward toward the cutie, a smile on his lips. As he got closer he took in all the details, from the color of his hair, his eyes, those pretty crystals on his cheeks that looked like glittering tears, and he couldn't help but to want to chat him up.

Once he was close enough he said to the pretty boy in a friendly tone of voice, "Hey there, Goldie, traveling all by your lonesome?"

"Mmm, I am referring to that lovely hair of yours, yes." He said, giving a smile when the guy seemed to be a little grumpy over the name, claiming that it could be seen as 'rude' to call him such a thing. Giving a bit of a laugh he said, "Well, it wasn't meant as insult, it was me comparing your hair to a rather precious metal... though if you prefer I can call you Sunny since your hair is akin to the sun's rays? Oh! Or maybe Honey like the sweet stuff you get from bees?" He gave Xarnith a little wink then, his fin like ears giving a little twitch from amusement. The guy was the serious type, huh? That would make flirting with him that much more fun!

Giving a laugh Mano rest a hand on his hip, the other holding onto his trident, and he said, "You haven't seen one of us before, huh? I count myself as lucky then to be the representative of my glorious people! I am called Mano and I am a member of the Water Tribe of Matori." He gave a little bow of his head before he said, "I'm on a journey across the world so spread love and kisses!" The way he said those words made it so that it was difficult to say if he was joking or being serious.

"Sunny it is then! A bright and beautiful name for someone as lovely as a sun rise." Mano said, giving the Wind Tribesman a smile. There really was nothing better then giving out compliments and seeing people get so staggered by them. He really was starting to wonder if the people of the North just didn't flirt enough? They really should try it, Mano sure enjoyed the pursuit to its fullest after all. Tiling his head to one side he got a thoughtful look on his face, "What it might imply? Let's see... by calling you Honey I'd guess that it would imply that your nice and sweet and fun to eat up?" Something that was followed by a little chuckle from the Water Tribesman.

Mano's golden eyes went to his trident for a moment before he gave a bit of a laugh, "I seem to get that question a lot. As I always say, I am always up for a good ride." He told him, giving him a wink and a smile. He couldn't help it, he knew that it wasn't nice of him to tease but that was one of those jobs that he just couldn't resist no matter when it was asked of him or who it was that was asking. It was fast becoming one of his favorite jokes in fact.

Swing and a miss... this one was a little thick headed, huh? No matter, it was kind of cute to meet with someone so naive that they missed such things. Sure, it might bother him a touch that he didn't get his funny jokes about eating him up and riding but no matter, he seemed like a nice enough guy so he couldn't say that he was all that upset over him missing the jokes. A moment later he was smiling again as Xarnith siddled up to him, sitting really close to Mano, something that he quite enjoyed a lot. There was nothing better then the closeness of others to put Mano in a good mood.

"Let's see... Matori is a nice place, a lot of water as far as the eye can see. It's a great place to go fishing, which is mostly what I use my trident for. Do I remember it? A bit, I guess? I mean I was away for a time when I was younger, then when I went back there wasn't anything there to hold me, so I set to traveling instead." His family was gone, meaning that there was no reason to stay. He didn't say that though, not wanting to get too serious with Sunny. Giving a thoughtful sound at one of the questions he said, "Traditions... hmm... not really. I mean I do a lot of fishing, something taught to me by my father, and of course I pray to our Gods and Goddesses, but no other traditions come to mind straight away."

Others that lived outside that place? He nodded, "A lot, probably. A lot of of the people of Matori were dragged off to Oba, some might still be there, others might have scattered to other areas at the end of the water. I guess it possible that any of the tribes could really be anywhere. I know I met a rather handsome Oban not that long ago pretty deep into Jauhar." People traveled far and wide, all for various reasons, so he was certain that he wasn't the only member of the Water Tribe around even if he hadn't seen any himself.

"It's worth it if you're willing to put in the practice. The better you get at fishing the more that you can provide for yourself and those around you." Or so his father used to tell him any time they went fishing together. It allowed one to take care of those that they cared about, to keep them fed and happy, so it meant a lot to Mano to get good at the skill. As the other commented on him living a 'fun life' Mano gave a shrug, "I have decided I wanted to make up for lost time and things that were more enjoyable. That involves... well, everything that I have done to this point since leaving home."

As the boy mentioned how he had a feeling Mano's words held more then one meeting he gave a bit of a grin, "Oh, they can, indeed." He said, giving a nod, before chuckling, "If you can't catch that hidden meaning though you might be a little young yet. I don't know if I want to sully the pure mind of a minor or anything, Sunny." He said to Xarnith with a wink.

"Hm? Oh, nothing really complicated about that. I just... I have little interest when it comes to fighting. Too much war, too much fighting, and too much pain from what I've seen. Everyone trying to best everyone else. I'd much rather enjoy the funner things in life, love and kisses being my favorite things. A good kiss with a handsome stranger for example is time well spent in my eyes. Better then wasting your time with some battle that will only end up with others in pain." Waving off the serious moment he asked, "Want me to show you?"

Mano blinked a couple times at the question that was posed to him. His fin ears flicked for a moment, a thoughtful look on his face, "Hm, would I save the person I hate the most?" He murmured, seeming as though he was mulling over the question for a moment. His thoughts flickered between those in his life that he might label as those that he 'hated' but at the same time, did he hate anyone? Mano tapped a foot against the ground for a moment then said, "Of those in my life, my former master among them, I can't say that I really hated any of them enough to just let them die if they were in a situation like the one you described."

A thought then struck him that made his entire body give a twitch before he said, "Though... that only covers those in my life. I don't know what caused the disapearance of my family after all, my parents and by baby brothers... so... I can't say for certain. If there was a person out there that harmed them, then no, I can't honestly say that I would save that particular person." Mano have the best smile he could muster given the thoughts whirling through his mind and said, "I apologize if that answer makes it so you don't want to kiss me, Sunshine." Lifting a hand he ruffled Xarnith's soft, golden hair. Even if he'd sacrificed his chance for a kiss he saw no reason to lie just to get one, even Mano wasn't that hard up for kisses after all.

Pushing up to his feet he found himself asking, "What about you? You the sort who would save anyone no matter what?" Was this one a real hero type? The sort who would even save the bad guys? If so then Mano had to hand it to him, as well as be in awe of him, as it wasn't something he could do himself were the circumstances ones that involved those that Mano cared for.

Giving a bit of a smile the Matori man said, "Is that so? Interesting." So there wasn't a specific answer that Sunshine was looking for, huh? That was a good thing because it meant that he wouldn't find himself turned away just because he had differing opinions then... well, whatever the 'perfect' answer might be for some. He was glad that he was willing to answer his own question as well, saying that he wasn't so noble but added in that he wouldn't just leave them to die. Hm, well, he claimed that he wasn't so noble he sounded as though he were to Mano, which only made him cuter.

"Oh? Is that so? Interesting." He said in a rather happy tone of voice. So he hadn't missed his chance, meaning that he would be able to get a kiss from another member of the Wind Tribe which was, due to past meetings, one of his favorite tribes. They were up there with the Shifters who he also had various pleasent meetings with... though Mano couldn't say that there was any tribe that he didn't like. He'd likely flirt with any of them, though he hadn't had the chance to do so with the Ice Tribe or the Alkidike yet though not for lack of trying. It was more because he'd yet to run into any of them yet. No matter though, that wasn't important presently, instead the most important thing would be Xarnith.

Leaning in he stole a kiss from the Wind Tribesman who was still chatting about trust and friendship, something that he found to be both cute and promising. So he felt Mano was worth of trust and friendship? Good! So long as they could be the sorts of friends that also shared some night kisses he thought to himself, giving Xarnith a smile as he drew back, "Thank you, my sweet Sunny." He got the kiss he was wanting so he would be happy from this point on no matter what might happen.
