Vladimir's body floated alongst the top of the water of the school's pool. He had his feet together and his arms spread apart as he kept his eyes closed. He had been like this for about fifteen minutes now, just moving along as the waves deemed fit. He was content and could be like this for the rest of the night if nobody bothered him. The practice for the swim team wasn't even going to start until next week because they still needed the members but Vladimir took this time to have the pool for himself. It was peaceful and the strong smell of chlorine calmed him down from the stresses of having to move back to the dorms after a relaxing break. In honesty, he wasn't ready for his last year of classes to begin quite yet. After this year, it would be graduation and he wasn't at all confident that he would be able to find a job that related to his major.
Feeling the back of his neck itch, Vlad dragged his feet to the bottom of the pool and stood up. He raised his hands and shook them of water before taking off his swimming cap. His blonde locks fell out. He was thinking that it was probably time for a break but looking around at the quietness of the pool, begging for him to stay made him put his hair back into the cap. He swam to the end of the pool and prepared himself for more drills.
