Does anyone else have trouble with meeting other gay guys who aren't.. more on the promiscuous side?
Actually just meeting gay guys in general.
I'm kind of a homebody and large crowds make me feel like I cant breathe, so the club scene isn't for me. I refuse to use grindr because I know nothing valuable will come out of that. And OKC is just meh.
How do you guys meet other gay people?

And OKC is just meh. How do you guys meet other gay people? I guess it just depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for more than a hook up then probably the best way to meet guys is to find a hobby that requires you to interact with other people. Join a group that shares your interests like a book club or video games. There are plenty of gay groups that specialize in different hobbies, so google them or search for them on facebook. Online works for some people, but it does take a lot of time. I met my husband on a website, and I couldn't be happier. :3

I have trouble trying to meet with other gay individuals too. = ^= most people are really just looking for sex and i just really want a friend to hang out with. ; A; Tbh though whenever it talk to guys i dont ever know what to say. its like. uh. so. whats up. the only time ive ever managed to talk normally with guys is when they're dorky and nerdy anime loving trash, gamers. xD lol grindr is a hookup site if anything. theres always tinder.. buuuuut.... online gay chat thingies are ehh in general. theyre very hard to find decent individuals. ive met maybe.. 4 people and all of them really wanted more promiscuous things. THOUGH i did get free stuff.

But if you want something more, you won't find it on Grindr. None of my relationships ever came of online dating. All of them were people I met in person.

Enkidu Awakened I'm fairly promiscuous, and that's my choice. But if you want something more, you won't find it on Grindr. None of my relationships ever came of online dating. All of them were people I met in person. I don't mind promiscuous people. I apologize if it came off that way, but I dislike it when I put out "hey I just want to be friends" or something like that and then they still pressure a hookup. Like I am not that much into sex. So yeah xD

The hook-up apps are gross, to be honest. Someone like you should probably stay away from them, and I don't mean that as an insult.

I did delete the app. One of my friends just said he used it to meet guys but I think he meant in a different way than what I was intending. Miscommunication all around. Haha

I'd kinda like some tip's to haha, I'm not good with big cowards either and whenever I've tried app's everyone just like ya' all say only wanna try and hookup. Witch I don't mind to talk about, sex like some said is just another topic to me. But even here on Gaia I've not had any good luck with finding other guy's who just wanted to be friend's. I mean i'm not saying I wouldn't think a relationship it's just every guy who has talked to so far only wanted the hookups...damn it. Sorry all I started rambling, but anyway if anyone has some words of wisdom i'd love to hear it for the help.
