Location: S.T.A.R Laboratories
Tonight was the night to be in Central City. S.T.A.R Laboratories was unveiling the particle accelerator. Imagine, our knowledge of everything we have at this moment expanding at a x1000 rate - that is everything that the particle accelerator will help us learn. It is going to change the very face and thoughts behind physics. A large crowd had amassed outside of S.T.A.R Laboratories, many in attendance where there to watch the wondrous occasion of taking such a large leap into the future; whilst others where protesting against it's activation - thought they were a minority.
A middle-aged man, was dressed casual-formally, quickly ran up the steps of a podium that the crowd had gathered around. This man was was no less than 5ft 11. He had dark, raven hair that held the illusion of looking untidy but sitting very tidy. He donned thick black semi-framed glasses which glistened off the white lights. However, his smile presented it's own light; many of the people would smile back upon seeing it. Approaching a glass stand that center of the podium, he looked down at the microphone with a smile and said "Thank you", he accompanied this with a raise of a hand to quiet down the crowd. He put his hands into his pocket, then raised his head to gaze into the crowd. He firmly stated, "My name is Harrison Wells..." and then quickly grabbed the microphone with his right hand, and leaned ever so slightly towards it. "...And tonight, the future begins." He took a moment to once more look into the soul of the crowd before he continued with the rest of his speech. "The work my team and I will do here, will change our understanding of physics, will bring about advancements in power, advancements in medicine, and trust me that future, will be here faster than you can think..." Harrison, looked up and smiled at the crowd, but a division within them caught his eye. Much to his own confusion, he saw a frightened girl and a man chasing what seemed to be a mugger.
