Basketball - Because the majority of his family throughout the generations consider basketball their favorite sport, Rick was exposed to it almost as soon as he was born. It is his favorite sport, too, because the competitive exercise is a combination of being a comfortable habit gained from fun-filled family interactions growing up, and of being an ever changing challenge he looks forward to putting himself through on a regular basis.
Dancing - Rick's mother had enrolled his elder sister and him at a dance studio as kids along with other lessons like swimming and piano. But it was dance lessons that went on consistently throughout the years due to regular availability of instructors mostly being an issue for lessons with the exception of dance from their family's experience. Rick finds it good exercise physically and mentally and credits his mother respectively for how he happened upon dance as a hobby early in his life. And now he has grown to gladly maintain it.
Virtues:
Amiable -- Not only is Rick one to offer a courteous greeting in passing, but say for example he and a colleague are sharing an elevator ride through several floors; then rather than stay quiet, Rick would offer a question politely in the event that perhaps it might initiate acceptance of some small talk. On the basketball court is also another example of where his friendly character shows. He does make sure he puts focus on playing well and following the games when watching between turns on the court, but when opportunities arise, he takes to establishing and building rapport with those around him; as is the case not just having to do with basketball.
Humane -- If for example a hungry dog frequents an area near his residence, Rick's the type of guy that'll remember seeing the canine and consider purchasing his next meal to include being able to give leftover chicken bones to said dog. If he thinks through something and decides he can manage or afford pushing through with a plan, he executes actions with the intent of aiding others. Another example of this virtue of his is that one of his ongoing decisions as an adult is that he is able to give an online monthly donation to a non-profit for needy children.
Flaws:
Restless -- Sure, though he might not prefer to sit around doing nothing, it is not impossible for him to do so. But too much idleness will undoubtedly frustrate him when boredom hits sooner rather than later. He'll need and want to mix things up and keep busy with an array of plans on his agenda, otherwise family members, friends, and colleagues will have a very annoyed Rick in their company.
Skeptical -- Rick likes to be well-informed but he can get too caught up on being so. When the latter happens, a reminder to lighten up is what he needs; such as whether from someone giving him feedback or from realizing himself that he's getting carried away.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: His are the color of honey.
Hair: With a slight curl to it, his hair is overall a light green and he prefers to keep his locks in a man bun (reference).
Face: Oval-shaped with small ears are descriptive of his face.
Clothes: On neighborhood basketball courts and despite not personally keeping track, he has a record of usually being on the skins team. Thus, and also considering how often he goes out of his way to play basketball throughout the week, he is quite regularly handling a basketball shirtless with a towel draped on his shoulders while wearing basketball shorts and shoes (reference).
