Kia walked into the deli still carrying Cherubi in her arms and Chimchar on her shoulders and looked around.. "there's a good spot..." Kia as she walked over to a rounded table with four chairs and set chimchar and cherubi down at it before walking to the counter. "Hello, um I'll take today's special and a lime soda... what about you guys?." Kia asked looking back towards the others as she reached into her backpack for her wallet.
There's a bond between us, nobody can explain It's a celebration of life, and seeing friends again I'd be there for you I know you'd be there for me too... so come on
xxxKira skipped a little as she followed after her cousin, happy that she could be spending time with her like this. It helped the atmosphere nicely. She wasn't stuck being bored while she waited on a challenger. And she got to battle another gym leader from the other region. Today was shaping up to be a rather nice day. She sat down Skittle where her cousin set down her Pokemon before following her to the counter and reaching in her back pocket, pulling out her wallet as well as she looked the menu over before shrugging. "Hn. The special seems fine, but I want a lemon-lime soda." Kira said as she looked back to the table to make sure that everything was fine. She smiled as she saw Skittle starting to try and play with the other two. She was going to enjoy this. She knew Skittle didn't get to play with other Pokemon very often. So she wasn't planning on interrupting her so soon. She looked back at the other two as she tilted her head. "So, what you two want?" She asked with a smile as she got ready to get the food and drink and go sit down. It was going to be fun. Getting to spend time with Kia and getting to watch her grow as a trainer, it was an experience not many got to watch. She just knew that Kia was going to make her grandparents proud. She wondered if she should phone her parents and let them know about Kia. She then shot down her own idea with a small chuckle. Nah. Let them be surprised. It was always better that ways anyways. They always seemed to enjoy it better when they were surprised. She would let them have that. She wasn't looking forward to having leave her to go fight a challenger, but hopefully that was a ways off yet. She didn't want to have to run off to quickly. She wanted to enjoy watching her cousin battle and progress. It would make things a lot more enjoyable when she finally did get up to the Elite Four challenge. She wondered if any of them were going to show up while she was with Kia. With how today was progressing, she wouldn't be surprised if they did. Well, she could at least introduce Kia that way. She smiled as she looked at her cousin, wondering what great things she had to show her.

Welcome to our family time Welcome to our brotherly time We're happy giving and taking to the friends we're making There's nothing we won't do
Upon finding their way to the cafe he looked around he hadn't been to this particular cafe, he walked in noticing the hardwood flooring the tables lined up into a long hall until you reached the counter. Umbreon had jumped up on his should as he placed his fingers gently on the furry animals head caressing it softly. He smiled as it licked his cheek. The male had continued to the seat he had sat the opposite side of the table "Green Tea, with a small Biscuit with lemon sauce and cream cheese." He said quietly they looked up to the ceiling seeing the artwork of the entire cafe mismatched wood giving it a #D effect and to top it off a chandelier, with golden lights that filled into the room. He pulled his scarf closer to himself he was not fond of the light or much people why did he agree again, he would never know, but he was here might as well make the most of it.
☯ Entering with the rest, Kōketsu took in the atmosphere of the deli shop that Kia brought them to. So this is the place hm? Well its quite elegant yet homy at the same time. Hopefully the food however, matches up with the shop itself. Sitting down at the counter he looked through the menu until he gave out his order. I'll have the Shrimp Po-boy with Lemonade please. Having a good taste for a sandwich, he was quite glad when he found out that they sold Po-boys here. Relaxing his elbows close to him on the counter, he turned to the others, especially Kia. So Kia, you're planning on taking on the Gym Leaders here in Pluto correct? ☯
Kia paid for her part of the order before walking over to the table she left Cherubi & Chimchar and sat down while she waited. "sorry about that you two, hmm here you four can have this." Kia as she pulled out four plates and a specially made pokè food her grandmother taught h to male and served and equal amount on each plate before looking up at Ōketsu . "Hmm? Yeah I am, but I'm originally from the Aliria region.. I figured I'd start over here instead of over there that way I could visit Kira and her parents on my first half of my journey and visit our grandparents on my second half and show them how much I had grown since leaving them to take care of the daycare without me." Kia said as she tried explaining her purpose for starting off in this region instead of her home region.
A Gym Leader couldn't operate on an empty stomach. Having planned on slipping out for a bit to grab an entree (or two), Jin walked over to the counter. He really didn't feel like sitting down... After all, there was work to be done! Probably. Maybe. "The usual, please," Jin said as he leaned against the dessert display, eyeing the various cakes they were serving today. In truth, Jin didn't have anything to do; there weren't any challengers lined up, and his research was going slowly as usual. "Gettin' any good business today?" The young man grinned, noticing that there were a few familiar faces eating at one of the tables, along with a new face. Maplewood seemed to be pretty popular... Jin wondered why he didn't have more challengers. It was so boring lately!
"Hrm..." Recognizing the waiter serving his colleagues, Jin slinked over beside her and tapped one of the Torrent Badges he had onto her empty tray to get her attention. "Pssst. Put all that on my tab." Before turning around to grab his to-go bag, Jin gave the waiter a hefty tip and smiled goofily at the others, sticking out his tongue. Hopefully they wouldn't protest... Jin got free meals in Maplewood, and he didn't want the four of them paying so long as he had anything to say about it. Of course, he didn't forget what he'd came for in the first place! The man behind the counter called Jin back over, waving his arm.
"Ah, Mister Ishi! Your usual order's not, um... Available. Gyarados meat is very expensive, and not easy to come by, you see..."
Drat! Jin's poor stomach wasn't going to like that. "Izzat so? That's okay, I guess. Gimme the other usual. Y'know, the Octillery...?" All the man offered Jin was an apologetic look. "...Right, right, that's a pretty special order too, isn't it? Okay, then..." Unsure on what to order at this point, Jin glanced over at all the desserts. "...Gimme cake. Gimme lots of cake. Please and thank you." If he couldn't have his favorites, he'd just stuff his face with sweets! It was the only viable option left.
☯ Kōketsu nodded as he listened into Kia's response to his question about being from Aliria region but coming over to Pluto to visit her family and start her journey here. I see. So let me ask you, what do you hope to gain from your journey starting here in Pluto instead of Aliria? What's your goal in being a trainer? Kōketsu didn't ask in any kind of negative way, it was just his way of getting to know someone. After a short while after, his order came to him. His sandwich looked delicious as can be. Pulling out his wallet, getting ready to pay for his meal, until the clerk raised his hand in denying taking the money, explaining that his meal was already paid. His and everyone else. That was odd...who would pay for his meal? When asked, he got directed over to a male with a bluish colored hair with yellow eyes. The male was another gym leader from Pluto. His name was Jin, Kōketsu believed. Hmm, well I guess if he is willing, I'll accept the kind gesture. I'll thank him after I finish my meal. Stating out to the clerk before going into his food. ☯
