Yeah that would be good. I know eren and mae are doing a watery apocalypse but I'm not sure about the others. There seems to be a mix of apocalyptic and post apocalyptic.

Okay so I'm thinking it would be good for us to do a nuclear fallout post-apocalypse theme. Very much like the Fallout game series or the movie City of Ember. I'm going to start working on the forum posts but they'll be pretty generic in case you want to make changes. Everything's a little bare-bones at the moment, but one we're both set on an idea I'll make some graphics for each of the stickies to make them a bit more vibrant. Let me know what you think?

DJ Hope 1990 I have never seen the fallout series or that movie.... Here's City of Ember (hopefully), and I've already linked you to the Fallout trailer. The 100 is a good series to check out if you have Netflix (and time), and that's about all you need for reference material imo.

It's a good place to bounce ideas around even if you don't have a solid idea of what you want to play. You can also post any avatars you've made or even just pictures of stuff that you like the look of - anything that helps flesh out the character construction really. Link to the thread here.

I guess the main thing is if you're going to have a character with bird wings, don't give them a halo. Like, make it Maximum Ride, not Bible. Try to make it seem like these things occurred through genetic mutations, not magic.

If you want to read in depth how Surge came to pass in the SR universe (which is exactly how I envisage it coming to pass in our universe, just with a different trigger event), here is a link to one of the books revolving around the original event that caused it. Start with page 22 (of the actual book numbers), and have a read through if you're curious. It's written in a prose, conversation form between a few characters and it doesn't have any game mechanics in it, so it's really interesting to read. It goes over possible causes of SURGE, classification levels, who and what in nature is affected, all the way through to how humans reacted to it, how society in general reacted to it, the implications for society, the future, the political issues and hate crimes caused by SURGE, and even involves interviews with changeling characters. It ends on page 41, so it's basically a massive chunk of world-building ready-made for us, I highly recommend reading it to get a handle on what kind of attitudes humans and changelings have towards each other, as well as what kind of traits you might consider having if you play a changeling.

Hey guys, I talked with Araceli and it turns out her life situation has changed and she doesn't have the time to spare for the ball anymore. She's opted to leave and focus on real-life things, which sounds like it's for the best. Just wanted to let you both know.
