Rhys taken a nap in the lounge in favor of going back to his own room. Too far, too sore, too tired to make it all the way there, so he crashed at the next best available space to him and dozed off. Upon waking he was about to head outside when he saw someone kind of just...sleeping...curled up into a ball in the corner of the room. He raised a curious brow and made his way over, toeing at the unfamiliar guy's leg.

Description: Lean and fit, 6'2" and 162lbs. Detached but somewhat sociable, and is actually a bit of an a**. His thoughts, at least, are often sarcastic and none-too-pleasant, and while approachable he might not be the nicest of guys depending on his mood. Talk about sports or training to get on his good side quick, or give him pointers on how to stay alive while at Deus.

"Whoa..!" Sin who was in a rush jumped over a chair in the lounge, too much in a hurry to merely go around. He ended up jumping too far when his skid was about to hit somebody that shouldn't have been there in the corner of the room. He didn't manage to stop his slide, but changed the trajectory slightly so that he ended up hitting the wall behind Rhys.
"... ugh...." He ended up sprawled upside down with a groan of pain. It took him another few disorienting moments before he recognized Rhys again. ".... Yo." Be brought up a hand to wave at him, even from his unsightly position. He let himself glance over at the sleeping fellow on the ground. New hunter? Sin hadn't seen him around before. "He looks comfy."

The curled up figure in the corner didn't stir, even at the nudge. He remained squished up, looking quite comfortable, one of the couch cushions beneath his head, legs drawn up so that his knees were against his chest. October was utterly out of it, snoring lightly.
At least until there was a crash as Sin came tumbling through. October was still asleep for approximately one and a half minutes after said crash, and then he cracked one eye open.
"That doesn't look very comfortable."

Luckily he heard the guy coming and he tried to keep out of the way. When Sin crashed against the wall he snort-laughed and looked down at him for a moment, then let his gaze float back to the dozing man before going back to Sin. "Yeah he does, try'na figure out what he's d--"
The sleeping man's words cut him off and he looked back over at him, smirking. "Good eye."
He offered a hand down to Sin in case the guy wanted some help getting up off the ground. His eyes, though, were still on the other guy. "I was wondering where the couch cushion went. It's free now, if you wanna move?"OOC Name: Rhys Donovan

Sin gladly took Rhys's hand to pull himself up. "Ugh.." He massaged the back of his neck as it was sore from that unusual position. "It would have worked out..." The main part of his statement being if. But then again, how often were you prepared to avoid sleeping people when they weren't usually sleeping on the ground?
"Does resident ground sleeper have a name to go along with the couch pillow?" He directed to both Rhys and the formerly sleeping new hunter. He courched down to October, extending a hand. "I'm Sin." Hopefully Sin wasn't talking to a person who fell asleep less than a minute later after they responded. That would top the list of embarrassing moments, wouldn't it?

"I have a very good eye," October informed the man with a sage nod. "Two of them, in fact."
It was unclear whether he was being sarcastic or just honest. Most likely the latter, October blinking curiously around at the other two. "I'm actually quite comfortable here, but thank you," he said courteously, and hugged the cushion a little more securely before taking Sin's hand.
"October," he said, punctuating this and "Flynn" with a large yawn. "I just got here."

Two of them. Rhys smirked at the reply and when introductions came up he inclined his head a bit. "Rhys," was his simple reply, though he quickly added, "Donovan." Crouching down for a handshake was too much effort, apparently, but he did feel a bit relieved to learn that there were other new trainees on the island.
"You're new, huh? Same here." He gave Sin a swat on the shoulder to let him know his next question would be directed at him. "How 'bout you?"OOC Name: Rhys Donovan

Stopping by the training grounds, Brie perched herself on one of the rails close by, watching October train a little while before announcing herself. "How's the weapon training coming along?" She asked, genuinely curious.
Throughout the whole ordeal before coming to the island, October had already used a katana similar to the one he used now, but it was usually hidden away inside the umbrella he had carried. He turned around at the sound of Brie's voice, October's movements slowing somewhat. The tip of his katana was speared into the grass and he wiped his brow with the back of his hand, the lower half of his face, as usual, covered by his bandanna - but he offered her a smile anyway, evident in his eyes.
"Slow," he said with a little nod. "Getting used to, you know." He gestured vaguely at his head. "But otherwise not too bad. How about you?"

The smile was returned by Brie while she still remained seated in her spot. The gesture he made, she could only guess to being their new 'partners', which she would have thought herself to being going crazy, but since she wasn't alone in this.. "Yeah.. I don't know if I'll ever get used to it. It's.. kind of disturbing having someone else in your thoughts."
Pressing her lips into a thin line, she tucked her legs up underneath her, sitting cross legged. "Me? Probably slower. I'm kind of afraid I might accidentally hit someone, or even myself in attempt to practice."

Sin was slightly amused by the answer, an obvious reference to his bandaged eye. He warmly shook October's hands, letting him know that if October ever needed him, he'd be around and glad to help.
Letting go of his hand, he stood up again to good-naturedly look back at Rhys, letting him know his swat had done its purpose. "Hmm? I'm not exactly new, but I don't think there's any length of time where I could consider myself experienced here." Not new, but not old really.
"In fact, I'm still a trainee. But any time you're not sleeping-" Which referred to October but also included Rhys in his next statement, "I'm open to showing you around, missions, or spars, or anything you guys want if you're free and want a partner." His easy manner told the both of them he would be a pleasant partner for any of those tasks. There were some hunters that were more strict, but Sin was definitely not one of them.
