Fathom strolled aimlessly through the enormous hall. They laughed slightly at the fact that Gods had made something bigger than themselves like mortals do. Then their smirk fell. "I shouldn't think that." they said, frowning. "We are gods. We can have things whatever size we want." They kicked off the ground slightly, slowly floating up toward the high vaulted ceiling. 'Oh, how I do not envy mortals.' Fathom thought as they slowly drifted around the chandeliers. But the flying part was just about the only part they enjoyed. The constant heartache of guilt would have killed a normal mortal already. They had seen it happen in all their time as a god. If only they could be mortal just long enough for the same to happen. Fathom lightly landed on an arm of one of the chandeliers. 'This should be a quiet place to nap.' they thought. Dionysus |♥| ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ •♥ ✖ ♥• ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ |♥| “Did someone just call me the wine dude? It’s Dio, please. Or Mr. Dio. Or Lord Dionysus. Or, sometimes, Oh-My-Gods-Please-Don’t-Kill-Me, Lord Dionysus.” Dio stumbled down the main hallway, with his chalice full of the freshest wine. He hiccuped loudly, practically floating down the hallway. Dio glanced around, not really seeing anyone. He was supposed to be in a meeting...or something.. eh. He couldn't remember. Meetings weren't his thing. The God stopped to stare at one of the statues. "And what are you lookin at? Huh? Wait a minute, you're not real! Why am I talking to a statue..?

Fathom, about to get as comfortable as they could on the chandelier, looked down to the floor to watch a seemingly drunken man enter the hall. They kept quiet as they watched the man begin conversing with one of the many statues adorning the hall. From their height, they couldn't tell what he was saying, but Fathom was sure now that the man was very drunk. 'I wonder...Is this the wine god? And here I had thought my idea of origin was wack.' They thought, immediately feeling a twinge of regret for calling the god 'wack'. 'I should help him.' Help may have not been the right word. Fathom stepped off the arm they were perched on, floating down to the floor and hovering behind the drunk god. "Um...e-excuse me, sir." They said softly, worried now if they should bother the man. DIONYSUS Dionysus |♥| ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ •♥ ✖ ♥• ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ |♥| “Did someone just call me the wine dude? It’s Dio, please. Or Mr. Dio. Or Lord Dionysus. Or, sometimes, Oh-My-Gods-Please-Don’t-Kill-Me, Lord Dionysus.” Dio spun around, and laughed. It was rare for him to take anything seriously. "Ohh- Well hello there!" Dio chuckled, throwing his now empty chalice on the floor. It vanished into dust. He closed his eyes, and hummed for a moment, before opening them once more. The being was interesting. Or rather, the beings. Why are you alone in the hall? he wondered, but glanced around. "Isn' there a meeting er something you should be at?" He slurred, summoning another full chalice.

Fathom blinked slightly. "Meeting? I was never informed of one." They responded. Their heartrate instantly shot up at the thought of missing something important, no matter how calm they sounded. 'Oh no, what am I going to do? This isn't good!' Fathom fretted, soflty setting their feet on the floor so they didn't hit the ground too hard if they fainted. "I-is there really a meeting?" Fathom was almost afraid to know the answer, now visibly worried. Don't worry yer lil head." The drunken God smiled, turning to look out the window. He then looked back, and his eyes grew wide. "My, how rude o' me. Would you like a drink?" He held out the full chalice, offering it to the being. OOC: I was slightly confused, sorry! Thank you, though!

Fathom gasped and swayed slightly. "Not good! What am I going to do? What if I was needed?" They cried out. 'Stop, gotta calm down! I can't faint now!' They put a hand on their chest and tried to calm their breathing. Once they felt the threat of black-out had passed they looked at the drunk god holding out the chalice, completely missing what he had said. "Huh?" They breathed out in slight confusion. If anyone was laid back, it was Dio. He sighed, lifting Fathom's chin. "Must you stress so much? You're killin my vibe. Here, drink some a this. You'll feel better." He huffed, pouring a bit in the God's mouth. His eyes glowed bright, and he smiled. "There. Let it warm you, from your throat to your stomach. Let it seep into your bones. Better?" Dio asked, lazily.

Fathom gasped from the sudden contact and in return almost choked. They quickly swallowed and coughed to clear any of the wine from their airways. "A-are you trying to kill me?" Fathom burst out then immediatly added, "Sorry." They wiped the back of their hand across their mouth. 'I don't usually drink, but that wine...' Fathom's thoughts trailed off as they forgot about their stress. They blinked and snapped their attention back to the man. "Ah, th-thank you, Mr...um..." Fathom realized they didn't know this god's name, or, more accurately, they couldn't match a name to the face. Click here to see Fathom’s profile

The name's Dionysus. God of Wine. Call me Dio, eh?" Dio grinned slyly, beginning to wander the halls once more. He was always living in his own world. Never caring much for routines or for reality. He turned back to face Fathom, and the glow of his eyes dimmed back to normal. "Well, are ya coming? Or would you rather stay here and nap? I hear trouble calling my name."

Fathom took the chalice. "Dio...My name is From-Deepest-Understanding. But most people call me Fathom. I am the god of guilt." They introduced themselves, remaining stationary as Dio began to wander. They looked down at the chalice before taking a small sip. Then they looked back to Dio. "Ah, c-coming!" They quickly floated after the god. Click here to see Fathom’s profile

And you cause others to feel guilty? Must be nice. I sit around and turn everyone into alcoholics. Or, grant them with fertility. That's always fun." The God only grinned, walking down the hall. For some odd reason, it relaxed him. Seeing the different imprints and textures on each door. The chandeliers hanging, letting off a warm, comforting glow. Dio sighed, strolling down the hall with his new friend. "So, guilty God, what mischief do you want to get in to?" Dio nudged them, taking another sip of wine.

Fathom nodded slightly. That was basically them in a nutshell, as mortals would say. They floated along beside Dio, occasionally sipping the really good wine that they were debating getting more of to try to get rid of the constant guilty feeling. They almost dropped the chalice when the other god once again touched them. "M-mischief? But won't the other gods be upset if we cause trouble?" Fathom looked at Dio, non-existent eyebrows furrowed. No harm in having fun, right?" Dio snapped, filling Fathom's chalice with more fresh wine. He spun around, laughing, and jumping up, swinging from each chandelier. As laid back as he claimed to be, Dio had his crazy destructive side as well. "Come on, you. Loosen up a bit, We're Gods!" Dionysus grabbed the guilty God, swinging them up on a chandelier with him. He performed a front flip off of the chandelier, as it dangerously swung back and forth.
