Biography:
Guilt has always been around. Humans have always been guilty of something, be it sin in some eyes, immoral acts, or regret. Guilt and it's god representation have always been here as long as mortals had created such humanized ideas. Mortals needed a source for things, so they created representational figures for their ideas and called them "Gods". Fathom, the Guilty God, is the humanized idea of the emotion guilt.

Because Fathom is always guilty, they can push this feeling out onto others, making everyone around them feel guilty, even if it is for something small. In return, Fathom is relieved of some of their guilt and can carry on without fainting.
↬Ancient Knowledge↫
Fathom is always carrying around a cube that they obtained from a human ruin. They feel terrible for taking it because everyone except Fathom was killed in the excavation. They carry the cube as a reminder of that day. One day, they will give the cube to a mortal to bestow upon them the Ancient Knowledge of the human race.
