Does anyone think today's actors coyld pull off a live version of Suikoden?
I think anime is the best way to go.

Man, who needs live actors when you do have animation? Just look at how sexy the intro to Suikoden 3 is. An entire movie (or a series, ooh~!) with that would kick some serious a**.

suikoden the movie? it just may that they could come out with it, but all i know is based on a chinese novel

It would be nice if there was a Suiko movie, but it'll be difficult for them to show all 108 characters in it. Maybe a Gaiden movie would be good, though....
*wishes for them to make Gaiden 1 into a movie heart *

Anime movie or series is the way to go. Not many movies based off of animes did good. *Shivers rembering G savior for Gundam.* sweatdrop

i think they could pull it off as a series. you could have a main cast of six characters..seeing as how six is the prefered number of party memebers at one time in the game. then they would go from tow to town, region to region, meeting all the rest off the 108 Stars.if they let it follow the storyline f the games, it might last two seasons. the only hard pasrt would be deciding Which game's era to set it in.

Yeah, I agree that it would be more realistic to pull it off as a series, more than a movie. Considering the fact that a movie requires an entire storyline squeezed into about 3 and a half hours, that severely limits the options of what they can show. Unless, of course, they animate the Gaidens or make a series of movies, like LOTR.
I believe that they should animate the movie too, if they ever made one. Imagining real actors playing my favourite characters are...scary. gonk

I would like to see the movie ina series but 3hrs long. This way, the entire anime series can be fully viewed properly. xd

An animated movie sounds like niftiness. ^_^
However, it might take a long time depending on which of the games they make a movie of..
An animated series of some type would be much better..
I'd personally like to see Suikoden One or Two as a series as there is already a manga of the third game (Which is highly pretty..)

I don't know. I wouldn't think they could. But it would be interesting to see. So I guess I'm siding with everyone on an animated Suikoden.

I rather make it into a anime not into a live show, itz not good as in a live show. anime can make up more things to it, and itz wont cost as much as actors would pay whee
