The creepy snickering sort of noise was something she seriously hated, so Mel walked off at a brisk pace, occasionally looking behind her in case the thing was right on her tail. It was one such instance where she was looking back that she didn't notice that someone was right in her path, and by the time she looked forward she was just about to slam right into them. She let out a little squeak and braced herself for a hit, in the midst of it all being mindful of keeping her finger off of the trigger of her shotgun lest she accidentally shoot whoever it was she was about to run into.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Petit, 5'5" and 114lbs. She is rather fair skinned with relatively soft facial features (compared to her parents) and curiously blue-green eyes. Her hair is a light shade of caramel brown and is naturally wavy, an asset she's rather proud of. [ ref ]
Lennard was about to run from the maniacal snickers and crunching when he felt a body crash into him. The former security guard whirled to face his would be adversary, his umbrella primed to strike. Only it was not some monster he found. It was a familiar face! His consciousness stirred, while he was fragmented, certain people still stuck out to him.
She was one of those faces he could not forget. No matter which persona hosted his current form. "Mels...?!" He reached out for her, making sure she was real and not some figment of his imagination.
Just as he started to grab for her, he could hear a dragging shuffling sound not far away, a creature much like what he'd fought n the streets near an alleyway. It made it's presence known. "Watch out!" He growled, whirling on the thing, defensive over the girl he'd only just found.
