The mountains of the island. This place is rich with nature, herbs and wild animals. The mountains have a big lake on one of the upper areas, though if you go to the top, it's forever snow and ice. The top of the mountain is only advised for the more experienced climbers. Though the bottom and lower areas of the mountains have the same weather as the rest of the island.

Mike, Rancher's Son
When he arrived at the mountains, Mike looked around and smiled before he looked at his mare. "Here we are again Mirage. A whole afternoon ahead of us to relax!" he said and the horse neighed. Mike laughed softly and gave her a gentle poke with his feet so they continued walking. There was no need for running around just yet. They could first enjoy the scenery together. Though he glanced at the mountain tops which were hidden by some clouds, he stayed on the beaten road so they wouldn't get into trouble. The least they needed was an accident.
They climbed up the road to the higher up areas, here there was plenty of trees as well as plants and herbs. One of his reasons to go to the mountains had been to collect herbs for self medicating when needed. Not a fan of doctors, Mike preferred to have herbs in stock for the less threatening needs. He looked around them at the squirrels and small wild life as he passed them and a content smile was on his lips. When they reached the area he had wanted to go, the lake lay outstretched before them. "Ah we're here." he said and got off Mirage.
Mike led his horse to a nearby tree before he took off her saddle and reigns with the halter since he never used a bit. He refused to, knowing it hurt her mouth. The boy placed it all at the tree on top of each other. "There, go enjoy the place Mirage. But no running away." he smiled, his voice was gentle. He knew Mirage wouldn't run anyway, she never did unless really really spooked. Mike walked back to the tree before he took off his upper clothes. Under them he was wearing his swimming trunks, knowing he wanted to swim here.
He would collect the herbs later, they'd just wilt if plucked and not properly prepared anyways. He also loved collecting water related items, Most of his aquatic treasures at his room he had dived up himself in the lake and the ocean. After a glance to Mirage who was now grazing he then ran off and dived into the lake. He laughed and held his breath. Once under water he took a few meters before surfacing and just swimming around the lake.

 With footprints trailing after, Fleur stomped her way towards home with groceries in hand. Certainly Aimee was getting a kick out of the foot print train that started in the town square. She has her usually morning tiff with the stature before having to haul the heavy load from the store. From a distance she heard voices. That wasn't right. No one came by here. Save her family. Fleur hid the groceries and fixed her foot trail before calling out. "Show yourself! Who are you?!" She barked, summoning her magic.

Mike, Rancher's Son
Mike was enjoying himself in the water. It wasn't his first visit to the lake, he had from very young already, but only recently, since he had become 16, did he get permission to go alone. Ever since he had rode out here on Mirage whenever the weather was good for it. After swimming for a while, he took a deep breath and dove underwater and looked around. The sun from above shone through the surface giving it all a glimmering blue hue. The boy swam down to the bottom and looked around some. He picked up some colorful small rocks and some shells left behind by animals.
However he didn't touch living animals or plants as he didn't want to hurt them. He surfaced a few times to take a breath and when he had collected enough to his liking he surfaced once more and took a deep breath before swimming to the grass-field. He placed the stuff he had found all on a cloth before he made to stand up which was when he suddenly heard a voice barking out. It startled him and before he could regain his balance he fell back into the water. Surfacing he coughed a bit as he got rid of some water before he lay his arms on the grass and looked up to who had suddenly spoken.
At the source of where he heard the voice from he saw no other than the descendant of the Harvest Goddess. He sighed relieved, ensured it was no one terrible and he put weight on his arms, pushing himself out of the water. "Relax, it's just me, you startled me." he said calmly, as he wrapped together the cloth with the shells and such in it and took it to the saddlebag at the tree before he turned to Fleur. "Look I am not doing anything wrong, I even didn't touch any of the wildlife in the water." he said to make sure he communicated his intention to the other and that they were nothing malevolent.

"What are you talking about? Who are you? This is my property! I don't like tresspassers." She lied, backing off a little. She honestly didn't recognize the boy. He had grown since she last saw him, and she was used to seeing him with his father. This boy looked clueless at most. But still, she couldn't take any chances. She had to at least scare the boy away. That way she could get her groceries home and attempt to remove the flowers from her house again. They never left. They kept popping back up, even when burned up.

Mike snorted a bit and laughed softly. "The mountains belong to no one. They are public property. It's me, Mike. From the ranch." he explained while he covered up the cloth in the saddlebag. He didn't want the shells in it to break, he had picked them up for a reason. Sure Fleur and him had never been on friend Basis with each other, but he had dne nothing wrong. Behind him Mirage had neighed and was pushing her nose in Fleur's neck. When Mike looked up and noticed it he chuckled softly. "Mirage likes you." he said.
