Moving quickly through the city, Kat was nearing her destination, but was still a little ways off. In the time she had separated from Ryan, a lot more of the undying had moved in, and her path had been swarmed by them. Unless she wanted to fight a large swarm of them single handed, she was going to have to search for an alternate route.
Skirting around the area, the hunter came across small alleyway. At first glance, it probably wouldn't be the safest option, what with having less space to maneuver, but she could also use it to her advantage. It wasn't like she hadn't before.
Picking up her pace, she slowed her steps when coming to each corner, checking for anything that may be lying in wait. When nothing was found, she continued on. Nearing the end, she was sure she might get through the entire alley without running in to a single one of the undying. Unfortunately, her luck was starting to take a turn for the worst when one appeared on the last stretch. "Really?" Well, that was just fine for her.
"Looks like you're up again, Xedis!" Summoning her weapons once again, the woman moved in, careful to dodge any of the oncoming attacks, or at least, the worst of it. Taking on blow, she proceeded to roll under and past it, in hopes of making it to the other side.
Lips pulling into a grin, she loosed a round from her weapons, firing it directly into the creature's back. "Heh heh, you're going to have to do better then that, if you hope on taking me down, a**!"

Getting to her feet, she moved in closer, taking the blunt of one hit, before striking the creature with a swift round house kick to the chest, knocking it back. With it down, the hunter approached, holding her guns to both heads. "See ya'!" Firing one final shot, Kat stepped away, pleased to see it no longer moving.
"Well, that was fun. Whats next for us?"
The voice in the back of her head made a noise of disgust, hinting at the fact that she should focus on just getting back to the others.
With her battle finished, she started making her way back again. At least she managed to rid the city of a few more of these things.

Pausing in her steps, she happened to come across a potato laying on the ground. Not potatoes, just one lone spud. Blinking, she reached for it, checking to see if it was still edible. "Beggars can't be choosers." And she could use all the food she could find. It would have to do.
