She wandered around the highway, checking into each car hoping to find something of use. These humans had packed to escape, to last, unlike the other places she visited which had been shut down burned out hell holes. This place had a chance of yielding something of use. Still this batch of cars had nothing, she moved back to her yellow motor box a "Jeep" she had learned was its name based on the logo on the front of it.
She paused standing leaning out the side of the truck, purple flames scanning the wrecks to see if anything moved, thankfully for once nothing did.

Jordan moved quietly through the foggy mass of cars, peering briefly in the window of each one he passed, checking for usable items. There was little left, either looted already or not there in the first place. He sighed quietly. Maybe we should check inside buildings instead, he said to Ferros.
We should check on our civilian before we move further out, the dragon answered, his suggestion flavored with agreement.
They spotted the movement a moment later, and froze, assessing the situation. The figure in the fog was too far away to determine if it was an ally or one of the infected. They moved closer, keeping their steps as quiet as possible; the figure resolved itself into a familiar one as they approached, and they relaxed slightly.
A slithering, skittering noise from their left side made them turn, on high alert again. The thing that wriggled out from under a wrecked car was a small threat, but a threat nonetheless. "Again?" Jordan said aloud, exasperated.

The sound of a horn would catch Jordan's attention, the next thing he knew a yellow Jeep shot by the driver door hanging open to smash into the creature planting it down in the dirt again as a familiar flash of purple and black jumped out the car as it slid to a halt.

The sound of a car engine startled Jordan, and he jumped back, watching in astonishment as Sammy ran over the infected with gleeful precision. As she jumped out of the Jeep, the thing sluggishly pried itself off the ground, dragging and broken; Jordan summoned Ferros without having to think about it, and they flattened the shadow-thing, leaving it broken and still in the center of a small crater.
"Nice driving," they said to Sammy, still a little nonplussed but amused.

Sammy dusted her jacket off stepping back just a bit as Ferros came down with a heavy smash splattering the broken creature into a small crater a chipper grin on her face.
"Thanks, I'm getting the hang of this whole human car thing." Walking towards the crater she nudged the beasts body finding a potato some how not mashed by the magic of magics. She took the tot stuffing it into the inside of her jackets large pockets.

Jordan blinked. "Where the hell was it hiding a potato? Never mind, I don't think I want to know." He poked at the corpse with the spike on Ferros's barrel, finding nothing of interest, and shook his head. "Have you been finding anything out here? Seems like it's been picked pretty clean, if there was anything in the first place."

"Dun know they just kinda do that now and then? They just have it left behind." Nudging it with her boot some more she shrugged. "Nothing of use? Food and water is gone. You guys need a lot of that right? The non-hunter ones. I've been looking for more but I haven't had a lot of luck with it."
Sammy paused looking at her "Jeep" then at Jordan a slow grin spreading across her face. "C'nob lets havea joy ride yeah? This things wicked fun to-" She paused scowling past Jordan.
"That's a poor imitation of me." She stepped past Jordan crossing her arms over her chest as she stared down a shadow of herself sneering right back at them as it cracked its own knuckles mocking Sammy.
"Rude."
