The hospital is still as desolate as ever. It is plagued by the infected and undying, and there seem to be fresh bloodstains all directions. Just being there creates a sense of anxiety and unease.

Shu was swallowed by the fog once again, after she ran a few steps from the daycare. The fog was thick and thicker, she couldn't tell which way she was going to. She simply knew it was the opposite way of where the green equine creature locate, it was closer to where the portal vanished.
She walked for a while, and the fog had the tendency to disperse. Believing she would reach somewhere soon, she moved forward. There she reached to an abandoned hospital, she dodged the big rusted gate and walked inside. "I hate hospital, I really hate it......" She mumbled, seemed to recall some sad memories taken place there. The flashlight was lit on again, the beam of light barely illuminated the road ahead for her, it was the first floor.
RATTLE. RATTLE. RATTLE.
All of a sudden, she heard some noises, getting louder and louder. She paused, chilled by the creepy sounds that like two people closely followed each other. It got closer and then all the sounds disappeared as they - no - it showed up with a upside down grin.
Time to fight.

Canon was simply exploring the area. She was currently stuck in her natural form, thanks to the fog, but she was rather enjoying running around as her 2ft. tall self. Especially since she didn't have to lug around her human anymore. At least, not until she found a new portal, anyway.
She had dropped the knife back off with him, though. In case he woke up and wanted, or needed to fight something.
So, she was in some sort of large, human building. She wondered if it was some kind of school, since it had so many doors and rooms, though there seemed to be more desks in some rooms than others. Interesting. Maybe she could ask a human, if she found one that was awake.
Lo and behold, Canon spotted one! But the human seemed to be occupied with a sparring match between her and one of the human-like things that hurt Canon's eye to look at. Canon settled down to wait politely, but soon found that she had company of her own.
... Another Skark?! Canon stared at the gray figure, and the gray figure stared back. It looked a lot like Canon, except, no color. Which was weird for a Skark. The gray was normal, but there was usually some other color, like Canon's red eye and tail markings.
But she was forgetting herself. Manners.
Canon shot her tail out at the strange Skark, deliberately missing.
"Well met!" Canon greeted the other. To her surprise and delight, the other also shot out her tail, but instead of missing, the Other hit her! A sparring invitation! Recovering from the blow, Canon immediately leaped into action, happily whistling a war cry.
"You're like a creepy stalker!" Shu commented as the noncommittal undying retained a perpetual frozen grin, dodging when it lunged for her. Her hammer was summoned with the hop and landed right on the rows of ribs of the creature. It shrieked before it dissipated.
Shu sighed and readied to desummon her weapon as she heard some loud noises and voice from behind, she clutched at the shaft of her hammer and turned back, found a weird one-eye creature was in a fight with another one. More for her to take care of, oh well, she dashed closer to them.
Luckily her petite figure also meant her big hammer had more spaces to move, compared to other hunters. She hoped to see some familiar faces of hunters, not more creatures. Shu slowed her pace as she got closer and simply watched until one of them went down to take care of another one.

Canon was impressed by how closely the other Skark managed to follow her moves. It was almost as if she knew what Canon was going to do! Actually... Canon slowed down and deliberately opened herself up for a strike. And the other didn't take it. But when Canon resumed fighting, it matched her movements.
Okay. So if... Canon struck out with her tail, deliberately missing again, but the Other struck her. Fascinating!
This was something like a reflection of her, Canon decided. Except it would always hit Canon given the chance, like when Canon attacked. It was like shadow fighting, but with consequences! Or maybe exactly like shadow fighting. That would make sense with the lack of color.
Canon's thought process was suddenly interrupted by the arrival of the human from earlier.
"Oh!" Canon panted, dancing around her double. "Well met! Nice job with your opponent! Wish I could've watched you finish it off, but I found a sparring partner of my own!"
Canon's attention was divided between her double, and the human, who seemed to be occupied with the same sort of device Canon's human had on him.
Another solid blow from her double refocused her attention on the sparring match, and Canon managed to return a blow, but only lightly. Her double was good!
She was getting too close, one of the creatures noticed her and smiled - it must be smiling, shu thought as the only one big eye curved like a flat cashew nut. It - She was congratulating her for taking down the undying and she sounded harmlessly cheerful.
"Thank you, do you need some help?" She took a glance at her double, it wasn't moving, as if it was waiting for the creature to take her move. Like a mirror.

Oh! OH! An opportunity to fight alongside a human!? Oh, did Canon want to say yes! But it would be kind of rude to bring in an ally during a sparring match. Canon turned to the Other Canon.
"Would you mind?" she asked, politely, pointing toward the human with her tail. Her double turned the movement into another walloping attack.
But she didn't say no!
So...
"Yes!" Canon exclaimed, looking back towards the human as she tried returning an attack at the same time. "I would be honored!"
Once the friendly one-eye creature agreed, Shu slid into the space between her and another creature and flung her hammer. As it was pushed back, she staggered and forced to step back as well. "They might look like you, but they're different species." The petite Asian turned around and informed the creature. "It's just a replica of you." She leaped over the long tail whipping towards her like it was the big rope girls love to play.

Somehow, Kari had wound up back at the hospital. Other than a few fresh reddened stains, nothing had changed. Even the fact that there was no portal was the same, which left Kari a bit depressed. How was she supposed to save herself, much less her human, if she couldn't even find a way home? Did anyone even know she was missing? She hoped so, but with how the volunteers had roped her into the operation, they might just see her as an expendable ghoul that they could find anywhere.
Cursing her poor luck, Kari was met with a strange sight: a monster ghoul and a death hunter fighting together. Not with each other... together. It seemed their enemy was worth putting their rivalries aside.
"Oh boy," the reaper groaned as another hulking undying entered the area. It looked like she had found a friend that wanted more than just a hug.

One more stab landed in the blight's shoulder. It felt a bit silly, but this weapon was actually pretty useful. Her positive thoughts ended when her weapon got wedged into the opening it had created, allowing the blight to slap her down.
"That was poor planning," the reaper grunted as she picked herself up. At least her weapon hadn't broken during the exchange. It would be much harder to fight with her bare fists.
"One down, one to go," Kari murmured as she turned her makeshift weapon from the dissipating shadow of the ghoul onto the giant one that had taken its sweet time lumbering over to the group. It was slow, so Kari could use her speed to dodge around for openings and land quick jabs before retreating to safety.
