Quote: The hospital is still as desolate as ever. It is plagued by the infected and undying, and there seem to be fresh bloodstains all directions. Just being there creates a sense of anxiety and unease. Edel had taken to wheeling the unconscious man about on the powerless motorbike, stopping occasionally to enjoy the scenery.
The abandoned hospital was quite a promising attraction to be honest. She didn't know the humans also had the local sense of aesthetic down pat. Well maintained too, judging by the fresh bloodstains.

Jason, meanwhile, Did not appreciate the hospital aesthetic in the slightest. In fact he was just about to leave the hospital when he was ambushed by another two headed undying with a giant hole in the middle.
Edel would get the pleasure of hearing him scream, before seeing the flash of a white coat as the hunter ran past, turning around to hack at the monster before running again, his civilian draped over one shoulder.

She could sense the Fear in the air, which was quite a delightful thing, except for the fact that the Blighted monster had turned back around and was heading towards her.
“Well done, I guess?” she offered her fellow a compliment, though the pleasantries were soon dismissed when the creature took a swipe at her human.
“Back off,” she warned, slicing through with an ice spear.
Maybe that was a bit too harsh... she wondered, watching it dissipate. Were there pumpkin patches in the Human World?

Jason had come to a stop when he realized the monster wasn't pursuing him anymore, and turned to see it was attacking a young woman. He cursed slipping in his attempt to get back to her but found there was no need. She defeated the thing with ease.
...With a ice spear.
Jason stood there awkwardly wondering what to do and what to say, knowing form his conversations on the radio that there were halloween students here, also with humans. Though he wasn't fully sure what they intended to do with them, he could gather that they were trying to help them.
At least he hoped so.
"U-umm...ah...T-thankyou?" His eyes went to the man in the wheelchair, his eyes going wide. "I-is he a-alright?"

More hunters. Edel turned away, wondering if she should leave now until he greeted her with a word of thanks.
The ghoul stared at him for a long time before speaking.
“You're welcome.” A short pause. “You look familiar too.”
Glancing over at the man on the bike, the frost demon sighed, thinking back on how their circumstance had been made more dire by him.
“He's alive, or at least as well as when I had found him,” she answered.
“We're here to help them, and when I mean we, have you seen any other Halloweeners around?” she asked, keeping a neutral tone. She stopped to look at Peter, before glancing up at Jason again. “Heard something terrible happened to them.”

Why was she staring at him like that?
'No it's not..." Though he still tried to draw his coat around him, cringing away from that look until she finally spoke.
"O-oh..d-do I?" He wracked his brain, trying to recall if he had seen this woman before.
Her words about his condition were reassuring, but he still wanted to make sure. And try not offend her in the process. "W-would you mind if I take a look at him? A-and I haven't s-seen any, but I have h-heard them on the radio...uhh do you know someone named C-cady? Or a Wrex?"
Jason looked more concerned. "D-do you know what exactly it was?" He had a idea, but maybe she knew something else?

Edel figured that the hunter must have been getting cold from hanging too close to her, judging from how he was hugging his coat around himself. She took a few steps away, because here she was trying to be nice and courteous.
“Hm, maybe not.” The less they saw each other the better, to be frank.
“Oh yes, please go ahead,” she gestured at the man. The frost demon had been very careful not to make any direct contact with the human for as much as possible, but that was the extent of how much she could do to help to keep him alive.
“Cady... and Wrex?” she tried to recall if she knew either, but the fact was that there were other Halloweeners being stranded out here.
And talking on a radio to hunters no less.
“This thing?” she flashed back to the scene at the highway, the vines and the horse. “I'm not sure to be honest, but it's hostile to our side as well,” she made her defense.
“You said you have a radio... any word on it then? Or, well, I suppose you'd have some information from that side too.”

Gingerly placing his civilian on the ground, Jason took a few steps towards the man in the wheelchair, crouching down so he could get a better look. He looked about as good as the girl did, bedraggled, ripped clothes, and evidence of healed injuries judging from the blood stains. He was still alive though, though how much longer he would be was anyones guess.
"I g-guess he's alright for now, but it would be best if we could get them safe...Huh?" He noticed the jersey he wore. "Oh, he's wearing one too!" He glanced back at the other human to be sure. Yup, she was wearing the same color jersey. "They must know each other then. I've heard there are others wearing these jersey too. On the radio I mean."
It appeared she didn't know who those two were, nor did she know much about the thing either. "T-thats strange..." He commended, wondering why it would attack one of their own.
He then shook his head. "N-no..." A pause, before a thought occurred to him. "Do you want me to try find out? I could ask to see if anyone has seen your friends, or knows more about the thing. As for intel, I don't get told much, usually just thrown into these situations..." And left to flail.

“Where would you suppose is a safe place though?” she asked genuinely. “The hospital perhaps?” she pointed to the desolate building.
At mention of the matching jerseys, the ghoul leaned in to take a closer look, noticing that they indeed bore a similar colour and crest. “If so, maybe we should look for the rest in the set,” she nodded, “but uh, let's hold off the hostilities for now if we do...” Chel and this man were alright as far as hunters go, but the rest not so much. It was a strange circumstance to be put in where they had similar goals, for now at least.
“Oh...” she paused to think, considering the offer, “Perhaps we could decide on a suitable meeting place, I think it's quite a lot of trouble to be carrying them around too.” She glanced briefly at the two unconscious bodies.
As for hearing about them being thrown into situations, Edel supposed that sometimes she could feel sad for hunters too, especially when she thought about their superiors. So she felt sad for Jason.

"Thats a good question..." He hadn't seen anywhere that could be considered 'safe' "P-probably not this place..." He thought for a moment. "I guess the most safest place would be in a group. More eyes to scout for trouble I guess."
He nodded to Edels suggestion. "Yeah..O-oh, of course!" Yes, he was happy not fighting. He really didn't want to fight. Th problem was though, he didn't know how the other hunters would feel about that.
"We could decide, then I could post a call over the radio, see who turns up."
If Jason knew Edel was feeling bad for him, he would of been very thankful.

“I guess you're right in that sense,” she nodded at the hunter's suggestion at traveling around in a group. Looking at how he was still clutching onto his jacket, the ghoul thought that somewhere warmer would be better for the humans, including him. And so despite herself, she supposed the move would be better for them as a whole (though, she would say that the Canadian weather was treating her quite well).
“There was a place full of cars a while back,” she pointed in its direction, “I can't guarantee that it's particularly safe, but at least there are places to hide.” She stared at the motorbike which ran out of gas a while ago. Perhaps she could pick up a new one there too.
“That is unless you've seen a better location. I think you'd know this world better than I do,” she shrugged, looking to him for a suggestion. And hopefully the radio call would produce some results too.

"That sounds like a good place. We might be able to find a few supplies there too, and they'll protect us against the cold." And maybe he could find one for himself too.
'Excuse me?!'
"N-not that I know off." He held up his radio, clicking the button to turn it on. "H-hello, anyone there?" A pause. "Have you found any places that might be considered safe? Or as safe as possible?" Another pause as he listened, the radio crackling at random intervals.
"D-dam, thanks for the - h-huh? HEY! I'm not a chicken!I have a unconscious person to look after!" Jason pouted, annoyed someone would accuse him of being a chicken.
Another pause, the radio crackling as people spoke. "Thankyou!" He placed it in his coat pocket. "No one knows anywhere safe, so the car place sounds like our best bet."

“Alright then,” she nodded, shifting her gaze towards the woman lying on the floor.
“There may be space for one more on this,” she gestured at the motorbike that her human was draped across on.
Hopefully Jason would also get the hint and volunteer to push the luggage along.
