Name: Sin Faction: Hunter Suspecies/Division: Sun General appearance: 6'2 strong, healthy male. Resembles a pirate with a rogue-ish air. Black hair with blue streaks, with a bandage over one eye. HP: 40/40 Weapon: Water Sword
Take a look at the 1d10 you rolled in your first post. That is the amount of yards you have traveled away from the portal. Go ahead and start dragging them back through the fog. This is entirely rped so you can drag them back however you want. For Halloween students, your strength has been nerfed slightly, and are now proportional to a Human's strength. For a Hunter, the fog is sapping your strength, making you more lethargic. Your movement and strength is slowed down to a regular civilian's.
For this part, also keep in mind the height and weight of your victim when you take it into RP accord. As your characters are in a very densely populated part of the hospital, hitching a ride via any form of vehicle is not an option right now.

POST TWO SCENARIO
[ Step 3 ] You did it!
Once you have finally rped getting to the portal, after all your rescuer's blood, sweat and tears, you can go ahead and throw them into the portal and follow afterwards.
As you do you and the victim suddenly end up not anywhere safe and definitely not back to where you started. Instead, it seems like you are somewhere on a long stretch of (Human) highway. There is a very tall skyscraper next to you, covered entirely in vines, though the top of the skyscraper seems to have shattered. It hurts your head to look at the buildilng, but as you turn away, you feel something shaking around you:
Behind you is a ridiculously tall creature made of ??? and vines. It doesn't even seem to be made of Fear. It spans nearly fifty feet, and while at a distance it may have looked like some sort of mutated horse, it begins to unravel, hundreds of vines twisting into claws, and then fingers to grasp at you.
gaia_starIf you are a Hunter/ Guest Hunter:
More tendrils unravel from the cage of the creature and you hear something whisper in your head. It hurts, and nearly causes you to pass out.
It is not natural for you to accept us?
Images begin to flash in your head, and they are overwhelming. They show people, thousands of people each second in fear, anger, despair, hatred, loathing- the images flash even faster, and it hurts for you to even remain standing.
It is only the support of your weapon that causes you to regain semi-consciousness again as you force yourself as far away from the thing as possible. Just nearing it causes your head to pound horribly again. You feel a renewed power as you pick up the victim and begin to sprint out. Vines lash at you and you sever them with your weapon without much though. You run. It chases.
Now, after reading the above for this step, write a post in REACTION to what has happened in the entirety of STEP 2 for your RESCUER. You may now choose to continue to run (go to next step) OR stop a little to fight the boss. If you do, the boss has ???/??? HP. If your character (RESCUER) successfully does more than 10 damage to it (remember GUEST STUDENTS Have 2d6-6 dice and QUEST HUNTERS have 2d8-6 dice) you manage to repel it a little bit ICly and it gives your character a bit of a breather. This post should be the exclaimSECOND rp post in your thread!
He had traveled 5 yards away from the portal. "C'mon." Sin told the unconscious male body lying at his feet. When no movement was evident, because of their deep sleep, he sighed and kneeled down. Dragging one arm over his shoulder, his other arm snaked around the doctor's body to stabilize them both. If his civilian was a girl, he wouldn't have had a problem princess-carrying them. Though Sin was of slightly more muscular built, Sho was still a healthy and more importantly a heavy male. Guess that frequent exercise came in handy, huh?
When he finally reached the exit, Sin threw the doctor into the portal gladly, relieved to be rid of the heavy burden. "Ahh." Wiping the sweat off his brow, he thought he might be able to relax.
You're not done yet. Undine took care to remind him, seeing something that her hunter had yet to see.
Huh? He was greeted by an unwelcome and unfamiliar sight of a highway. "We are definitely not back to where we started." He told himself. Tilting his head in confusion, he was sure that it wasn't just his sight. Had they gone to the wrong portal? But there should have only been one portal.. so that didn't make a lot of sense, did it? Taking another glance to survey his surroundings, his eyes landed upon the tall skyscaper. Mildly unusual.. though the growing throbbing and pain in his headache wasn't right. He forced himself to look away, to regain his clarity of mind.
It just so happened that the skyscraper was definitely the direction he should have been looking at. Feeling a heavy tremor n the ground, and then hearing a heavy breathing- which typically indicated that there was something behind him- Sin let the color in his face fade away.
Don't tell me..
Teehee! Should I be the one to tell you? The undine was quick to tease him.
It was closer than he had anticipated. The dark tendrils creeped towards him. Even though the hunter knew inwardly that he had to move, to run, he found himself rooted to the spot. Sin unwillingly staggered in its presence, not even sure why since he hadn't exerted enough physical or mental energy to warrant this.
It is not natural for you to accept us? Feelings and emotions rushed into him, a vortex of anguish and torment so heavy that it seemed to submerge the pirate hunter in its darkness. It slowly but surely dragged his consciousness down.. If this was how hell would feel-
Snap out of it! Her voice brought Sin back, her urgency only emphasizing the impending danger. You mustn't succumb to it! Her voice tugged at his consciousness, unwilling to let him go.
He forced himself out of it, his breath heavy from the effort. Jumping backwards and dragging Sho on the ground with him, Sin looked to reassess the creature. It was scary -- really, really scary. It wasn't something he could face as a lone hunter. Picking up the other male with no time to lose, this time in a piggy back - Sin ran for his life. He wasn't a cowardly type, but even he was smart enough to recognize when they didn't have a chance against a giant horse with too many ******** hands. His pace was considerably slowed down by the heavy weight but in good consciousness he couldn't leave the doctor behind.

POST THREE SCENARIO
[ Step 4 ] As you run, the skyscraper, the entire city bursts into vines. You keep on running. You can't afford to look back. Eventually, you reach a long empty expanse of highway with nowhere to hide. The fog thickens again, heavily weakening your character, locking them in their natural forms (for Halloween) and stopping weapons from their true potential (Hunter). All you know is that you need to get away from the thing.
Pick the ones applicable to your character, click the spoiler and then follow the steps given. This one should be your exclaim THIRD rp post in your solo thread.
gaia_star[ IF YOUR CHARACTER IS A HUNTER ]
First, you must pick a vehicle of transport:
gaia_star[ If the victim has earned CAR KEYS ] (dont't worry if you haven't been granted them yet, as long as you claimed for it (check END OF DAY 3 GM ORP to see if you are eligible)), this translates to your rescuer finding a car along the highway with the car keys STILL INSIDE it. Looks like you got super lucky! If your character cannot drive you can either have them "fake it" (how hard can it be to press a gas pedal!) or choose another option.
Roll 1d6 to see which car you find. This is what kind of car you will be rping for this post:
1. A vespa. Seriously, a vespa. It was the only thing you could find in such a limited time okay! (SPEED VALUE +1).
2: Beat up 1970's Toyota Corolla. Seriously this car is so beat up. It putters. It is a two-seater. It slows down if you drive over 20 mph. Are you sure you are going to be okay? (SPEED VALUE +2)
3: The reliable 2000 Ford Focus. It pretty much gives you what you need, and there is space. You drive as fast as you can (SPEED VALUE +3)
4. A somewhat new Jeep Wrangler. This thing is awkwardly huge, but at least it does its job. (SPEED VALUE +4)
5. A 2010 Mercedes-Benz convertible. Seriously?! At least it moves really fast and you get to feel the (foggy) wind blowing at your hair while a terrible monstrosity chases after you! (SPEED VALUE +5)
6. A very brand spanking new Ferrarri Sports Car. What a shame. What a crying, crying shame. You drive it because if you didn't it would never be as loved or as appreciated as it should be. (SPEED VALUE +6).
When you finally make the 10 kilometers distance, proceed to STEP 4. Make sure you have rped out your reaction to all of entire step 3. You are almost there!
gaia_star[ EXAMPLE RP OF STEP 3: ] - Bob creates an ESCAPE SOLO. Bob reads the following and write a quick reaction post to running away, and finding a car. In the same post, Bob rolls 1d6 and rolled a 6 and got the sports car! He edits that same post to pick up the victim and throw them into the sports car and begins to drive away, the crazy mass of Fear and vines chasing them the entire time when the communications headset finally sparks, telling Bob that a portal has been set up 10km straight down the highway! - Now that Bob has a car, Bob makes a new post and rolls 1d6 to see how far they have gotten before the boss catches up. They roll 1d6 and get a 3. The ferrari has a speed +6, so that is 9 km covered! The boss hits them all for -5 damage, and dents the car a lot. Edit this post and RP it out. - Now they make another post and roll again for 1d6. This time they roll a 1. 9+1 by default = 10km TOTAL so they make it to the portal! Edit this post and rp it out. - Bob has made it! Proceed to the next post below.

He ran and ran without looking back. He didn't need to, hearing its quick stampeding. Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see the unnatural green vines chased him. They were startling, the only sign of life among the apocalyptic scenery other than Sin, his victim, and the horse that was chasing them.
A pair of keys jostled in Sho's side pocket, making the hunter realize that they could make use of the fact they were on a highway. He quickly made a turn towards the nearest ... scooter on the side of the road. Way to go. Beggars couldn't be choosers, and he would take what he could get. His stamina couldn't hold out forever after all. Shoving they keys into the ignition until it almost broke from the force, the hunter didn't waste any time in starting it. Leaving Sho in the back, and pushed the scooter beyond its limits as it speeded down the highway at full throttle.

They nearly overturned from when the horse caught up with them. Yet Sin wouldn't let that happen as he kept the scooter upright and just barely.
Total: 4 kilometers
(-5 damage to both rescuer and survivor)

POST THREE END
[ Step 5 ] PORTAL, ATTEMPT 2!
As you finally (both Halloween AND Hunter) step towards your respective portals, the VICTIM suddenly grabs a hold of you and attacks you with a rather impressive strength!
You must now fend off the VICTIM and try to drag them into the portal. Just create an RP post as you try your best to fight off the victim. This wastes precious time and by the time you finish fighting them, you realize the portal is gone.
CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE NOW STRANDED
That's it! You're done the solo part! Please RP out what you need, then continue to the post (STAGE 3) below for some quality PRP time!
Total: 10 kilometers
The little Vespa actually made it. Though Sin felt somewhat bad that he had to abandon the fellow after it had worked its heart out for the sake of their survival, it was a task he must do. Bringing the car to an abrupt stop right before the portal, the car nearly skidded off the highway. He pulled the unconscious body off, with a not so gentle tumble down towards the ground.
Sin went to pick him up before the monster could catch up with them once more. He wasn't exactly expecting the male to be conscious, so when a hand snaked out towards his throat, even Sin couldn't avoid that. The tightening of his fingers around his throat made Sin rethink if he was truly unconscious or not. It seemed as if he were, but with his hair and bandanna covering his expression, Sin couldn't truly tell. Instead, all he could say in a strangled voice was "Kh... let me go..!" They didn't have time for this. He was trying to save the doctor, not kidnap him..!
The hold loosened for one second, but not in safety as the doctor's other hand was equipped with a knife. But that loosening was enough to let the hunter marginally escape. The strike came from below as Sin narrowly avoided a slice of a knife towards his jugular notch by stepping back. A thin trace of blood dripped down from his cheek. As expected of a doctor, his precision in the depth of the cut and the placement of the cut would have been fatal had Sin had avoided it. His hunter speed was just a notch above the doctors, and Sin managed to swiftly get behind him. This time, his hand didn't hesitate to reach out for the doctor's throat from behind and pin him down to the ground. His other hand restrained the doctor's arm behind his back, his pressure forcing the doctor drop the weapon. "What the hell are you doing?!" He asked but received no answer. They didn't have time for this. "I'll apologize to you later!" A punch with all of Sin's might followed the words to render him back to unconscious. "He's a dangerous handful."
When Sin looked up, the portal was gone.
Oh ******** hell.
"ALLAN!" He roared, his eyes thoroughly pissed. They couldn't have kept it open for a few more seconds? They were stuck here.
