[ INSIDE - Broken down hospital wing, second floor. ] (EMOTION: FEAR) The entire hallway has been emptied, and all the doors are broken down or boarded. You feel like there is something watching you, following you down the hallway, but you can't place a finger on it. The feeling of dread is overwhelming and makes you nearly unable to take any steps further. It feels like you are drowning.
After finding his brother, Dazs was determined to (mostly) stick to him like glue. Or some annoying type of barnacle. He was afraid; he was afraid of being alone, of losing people to the fog, of ... it felt like he was afraid of everything.
The hallway was empty except for them, like some kind of long esophagus of disuse. He forced himself not to shiver. When Dazs opened his mouth, the words stuck in his throat for a second, then he forced out a small, thin laugh.
"Kind of super creepy, eh?" He did not notice the shadow standing on the side of the hallway.

MOB SUMMON
[ MOB NAME] YOUR SHADOW MOB HP: 15 HP Mob Autodamage: It only attacks back when you attack it, doing the SAME damage to you as you did to this mob. For instance, if you roll and do 5 damage, it will do 5 damage to you. This applies to everyone attacking it. Mob Special Ability: This looks exactly like you do. Who it takes the form of is the person who "summoned" ie: rolled it. It is able to talk and mimic the identical actions of you, the only difference other than it being much, much more sinister and sadistic is that it is also semi-transparent, fading to grey, around the edges. Other than that there is no difference between you and this apparition. Mob Loot: Roll 1d4 to see what you get: 1: Junkyard five card: (http://halloween.thesporkedken.com/loot/card_5.png). Add to journal and use here 2: Junkyard six card: (http://halloween.thesporkedken.com/loot/card_6.png). Add to journal and use here 3. A potato on the minis site. Redeem it here! 4. Water bottle on the minis site. Redeem it here!
The mob looks rather like Dazs, although it wears a kind of cruel smile you've never seen on your brother's face. It watches you both from the hallway, waiting.

G-Man didn't want to lose his brother now that he had found him, but he had also had a strong sense of trepidation when it came to the hospital. He hadn't gone inside the building yet for a reason, and his so far unwarranted fears only grew as they reached that hallway on the second floor. By the time they began to move down that corridor, he was practically quivering with fright, and he had become too scared to speak, convinced that he would soon become a gibbering mess on top of whatever else was already wrong with him.
So instead, he simply nodded, rapidly. And when the shadow appeared, he stopped in his tracks, frozen, his eyes wide, his heart hammering in his chest.
And then he let out a very unmanly like shriek and threw his knife at it, even though it did look like Dasz.

To say Dazs was worried about his brother was an understatement. Perhaps it was because he was watching Giuseppe that he missed the shadow. But, at his brother's scream, Dazs jumped so many feet into the air.
"Ah, s**t, s**t, s**t, what is that?" While it wore his face, it most definitely wasn't him. Dazs ran up to it, past it, grabbing Gman's knife. He slashed at it and it hissed. Skidding to a stop, he pushed Giuseppe's knife back into his hand.

"I don't know! I don't know but it looks like you why the ******** does it look like you???" He wailed, pushed back by the shadow who attacked him back so quickly that he had no chance to prevent it.
With the knife back in his hand he darted at forward and slashed at it again HP: 44 Damage: 2 Mob HP: 5

"I don't know!" he echoed Giuseppe, a thread of panic finding its way into his voice. "This place is ******** ******** up. Just kill it!" Dazs didn't like the idea of something with his face walking around any more than his brother did. What if... what if... it tried to replace him? He moved forward and under Giuseppe's slash to cut at the thing as well.
He noticed, then, that the edge were transparent, shadowy. Not a perfect copy.

Did it make it easier or harder to kill something that he was so frightened of? Right at the moment, it felt like all of his actions were spurned on by sheer, blind panic. He attacked more because he felt like he was backed into a corner, though what he really wanted to do was run. Run and run and never look back.
No. No it wasn't that he was backed into a corner. It was Dasz. It was his brother that he couldn't abandon. His brother that he had to try and be strong for, no matter how horrible everything got. It was Dasz that tethered him there, Dasz that kept him fighting.
"W-workin on it, bro!" He stammered out, his grip on his knife tightening as his resolve began to strengthen.
Forcing himself forward with what few shreds of courage he could still gather, he stabbed directly at the imposter Dasz's chest.

Dazs tensed, poising himself to spring on... himself. And then Giuseppe hit it (in the chest - rude) and it dissipated. He went boneless for two second - this was all he would allow himself - before straightening and going to root around in the remains.
"N-nice hit, I guess." He scavenged up something and rubbed his own chest. "Let's... let's get out of here, okay? Like, not just this hallway, but together, out of here. When the fog lifts, let's find mom and go. Promise?"

The shadow had lashed back, hitting G-Man in exactly the same place that G had hit it. Soon after, however, it began to break apart, dissipating and disappearing into thin air. G-Man remained tense for a few moments longer, and then, like Dasz, began to relax as it became clear that the shadow mimic would not be coming back.
"Ya." He replied, reaching up to push sweat drenched hair off of his forehead, before following is brother to the "remains".
Stooping down, G-Man retrieved a card from off of the ground and pocketed it.
"Ya." He said again. "Course, bro! We gonna get out of this, somehow. Me, you, an ma. Altogether. Promise." He knew he shouldn't be promising such a thing, not when he knew that it quite probably couldn't come true. But if that glimmer of hope was what helped Dasz get through this, how could he not say it?
