After cleaning up his hands on some bedding, Ty;er pushed the thought of what could have happened earlier. He did not kill a boy. He did not have a knife. He did not kill anyone. He was already dead. He just fell asleep in his blood. He was... he was going to life in this denial as long as he could. Braving the possible risks - and being absolutely certain that he had checked every room that he was able to for supplies and finding nothing, he pressed onward and went up one more set of stairs through the stairwell. Looking up into the darkness, he could see the faint illumination of exit signs. There was a few more flights that went downwards... but he didn't want to get stuck down there. Something about a basement is just innately creepy. With a shudder, he moved quietly up the stairs, inching the door open to minimize any sort of sound.

The second floor was like the first - it was a mess. Everything was in disarray and he was not at all surprised at what he found. However, he held some hopes that he was able to find something of use up here. With a strong sense of self-preservation, he checked three rooms to find nothing of special use. He let loose a sigh as he stood back to stare at what was once someone's office. The table toppled over as if to be a shield, bookshelf raided of books, papers and folders everywhere.

Shuffling outside, he heard something echo down the hall. Instinctively, he turned to look to see a large looming figure in the distance. If the size wasn't intimidating enough, what it held in its hand was much more so. From where he was standing and the lighting that the windows allowed, it was a very large weapon. Swallowing, he made no move towards or away from it... unsure if any sort of movement would trigger the figure's reaction. Maybe... it was faced away from him. Well, that lie wasn't going to fool him because he looked at the weapon and it was angled in the only direction that would say that the figure was looking at his way.

- CLANG -

Tyler made a mad dash toward the other end of the hall. As far away from the figure as possible. He could hear the heavy footsteps, the lift and fall of the weapon that it carried, the heavy breathing that was down his neck. He whimpered as his mind ran from him, thinking of the horrible things that could happen to him if he was caught. He felt himself drag... crap! The items he carried was dragging him down - slowing him down. Frantic, he unhitched the towel and sweater from his waist, throwing it over his shoulder and turned down a hall. Plastering himself against the wall, he closed his hide and held his breath. But nothing came. Nothing came... because nothing was there.
