Scenario requirements: This event can only be rped with TWO or more people. One of the characters begins to lose their mind, convinced that a someone is talking to them, telling them there is safety beyond the fog. They begin to drag the other character that direction as well.
The other character now has the option to fight back with that player, or accept. If they follow, the first player will continue to talk about this imaginary person talking to them (make one up, base it on a person close to that character) has promised them an increasingly more ludicrous count of promises (you can make these up). They get stranger and more unrealistic.
This rp continues until the second character being dragged realizes something is up with the first character. They can choose to roll 1d6 to drag the character back towards the hospital away from the thickness of the fog. If the roll even, they succeed, if they roll odd, the other character continues to drag them. Continue this RP until the second character has rolled 1d6 and rolled even successfully to drag the other player out.
Characters involved: Diana & Max Extra effect: If you one person rolls a mob in a PRP/SOLO/ORP thread, nobody else in the thread has to roll for mobs! This post's effect is applicable to ALL characters, flashlight or none!

She'd been running around outside of the strange hospital searching for anyone of her friends. If there was any way she could locate people to prove she wasn't losing her mind it would at least be a little better. But as it was now, the voices were still taunting her with thoughts of abandonment. Max wouldn't leave her so easily, she knew this, but there was this nagging feeling at the back of her mind that said he would if they stayed there for too much longer.
"Max? Are you there?" she called out again, hoping she'd find him somehow.
Run past the fog. You'll be safe there. Yes, that seemed like a good idea. She just needed to get out of the fog, run past it all and continue onward. They shouldn't be sticking around there.
That's right. Everything will be okay once you go further. Max will appreciate you telling him so.

It hadn't been very long at all since Max had crawled his way out of the fog. He felt better here near the hospital and the voice was calmer too, its hateful words silenced every time he scratched. He sat alone, turned to face the building's stony wall, tracing shapes on the rock and trying not to think. They couldn't buy their way out of this. He'd seen no undying here, just bloated, bleeding bodies and people staring at the empty air. He had no idea how to move on or what to do next.
At first, he convinced himself her voice was another trick, just something his mind was making up. But he could hear her footfalls too, and though it wasn't inconceivable that his imagination had demanded it include them, such a minor, human detail seemed too real to be fake. He pushed himself to his weary feet and squinted toward the billowing grey curtain, catching sight of her hair first as always.
"Diana! Here!" She was perilously close to the fog, and if there was one thing he was sure of, it was that he was not going back in there any time soon.

"Max!" She ran over to the man, hands gripping his shoulders a little too tightly. He was there, but was he real. She'd encountered a lot of strange things in this fog, and she wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being a figment of her imagination as well. She began touching his face, his arms, any spot within reason in an attempt to figure out if the man before her was real. If he was, there was no time to lose. They had to leave. Get out somehow, maybe by going around the hospital and out the back?
"Come on Max we have to go. They said there was a way out. If we go beyond the fog it's safe! We can go and be okay and get lots of coffee," she pleaded, trying to tug him along.
Yes, beyond the fog is safe.
"See did you hear??"

When she touched him Max froze, certain that she was going to push him away.
She knows you've already left so many behind. Heartless.
When she didn't, he swallowed and really looked at her. He hadn't initially questioned that she was real and he didn't do so now, but something still wasn't right. "That's where we came from, beyond the fog. It's horrible out there." Max shook his head. "No. I won't go. I won't let you go."
Yes, you will.
"Shut up." He took her arm, squeezing it in a way that he hoped was reassuring but was probably just desperate. "Not you." This was all getting terribly confusing. And had she said she'd heard something? Surely not the... thing that was talking to him? "I heard, but it wasn't anything about the fog. What did you hear?"

"They said it was safe beyond the fog. Come on Max please come with me," she pleaded to him, grabbing his hands and trying to pull him up herself once more. She was getting frantic, the voice continuing to push her towards the fog and what lied beyond it. It would be safe for them. It would she just knew it. Her head ached and her skin itched, and she was sure it was because of their location. If they could just get beyond it then everything would get better.
Yes, Diana. I promise it's okay! Everything will be alright if you come beyond the fog!
That voice was so familiar to her, but it couldn't be. She knew it couldn't be, but it was there! She was speaking to her.
"Isabelle said it was okay, I promise! She would never lie to me, she wouldn't! We have to go Max. I don't want to lose you too, okay?"

He almost said it a second time. That's where they had come from. Beyond the fog. It was where he had seen the hollowed out people and the silent circle of survivors. It wasn't a good place, no matter what this Isabelle had said.
"Diana." He shook her, not enough to actually move more than her arm, but enough to make him immediately regret that he had. "Sorry. But... It's just you and me here. I don't see any Isabelle. Just you and me." He was proud he hadn't said the invisible woman didn't exist, because for all he knew, she did. But he couldn't see her. Isabelle's opinion wasn't valid, especially if she wanted to put Diana in danger. "You won't lose me, but you've got to come away from the fog."

"I just want to make it out of here. I'm tired of all of this and I just want to be safe. She said beyond the fog is safe," Diana whispered losing all her determination as she grew more tired with each passing moment. She was angry, scared, and a whole lot of other emotions she couldn't even begin to describe. The voices continued to whisper, taunting her with the thoughts of freedom and safety.
"I don't know how much longer I can do this, Max," she continued, trying to ignore the girl staring at her in the fog.

"I know. Me too." He couldn't even tell her they were going to be all right because he wasn't convinced himself. The two of them would just have to stick together and hope for the best for now. Max let her arm go, only to draw her into a loose hug. "We'll find the others. Monica and the Boss and all of them. See what they have to say. If anyone's been back into the fog, they can tell us if it's all right to go."
He wanted to ask her about Isabelle, but they had to get away from here first. "Come with me." Hopefully if they couldn't see the fog, its call would be easier to ignore.
