[ INSIDE- ??? ROOM ] (EMOTION: TREPIDATION) There is only one room on the fourth floor, followed by one set of stairs. It is just a room, with a single, glowing computer. The computer is not plugged in but the screen is working.
It simply reads [ 90% UPLOADED ]. The bar is moving very slowly.
There is not really much else in the room. Pressing keys doesn't seem to work on the computer.
The room was quiet.
It was also not the most ideal place for one to be, especially considering how secluded it was - but there were chairs there for people to sit at, at the very least. Granted, most of them were old and decrepit, and some had very suspicious looking stains on them, and the air inside felt thick, almost musty, like something had died in it and left behind nothing but remnants of shadows.
People could sleep here, maybe, if they tried. Or maybe it was just a bad idea to sleep altogether. At the very least, there was one thing rather out of place in the room - an umbrella, tucked away to the side, resting casually against the wall out of immediate sight.

Moving cautiously up the stairs, Brie moved to the glow of the computer, eying the screen with curiosity.
[ 90% UPLOADED ]
What did that even mean? What was uploading? Hesitantly she reached out to touch one of the keys. When nothing, she tried a few others. No commands seemed to work, so she left it be for the moment.
Stepping away from the computer to inspect the rest of the room, her gaze landed on the chairs, nose wrinkling at the stench coming from them. What happened here?
Checking every inch of the room, it was then she noticed something tucked away. Moving over, she picked it up, holding it in her grasp. "Uh-" An umbrella..?

Sho arrived, feeling like he had run a mile just to get to this room. It seemed like an eternity had passed, and battered him physically and mentally. The doctor looked exhausted -- which was unusual for the male who hid most signs of weakness -- and more disheveled than he usually was with his tie further loosened and a few buttons undone to reveal his collarbone.
"I'm feeling like s**t." He collapsed near the doorway, glad to see a a familiar face in this entire mess. "Yo Brie." He weakly waved, glad to see she had made it out safely and alive from the casino. He recognized this room, but a cursory glance showed that it wouldn't be as useful as his memories remembered it to be.
[ 90% UPLOADED ] It hadn't finished, huh? What had they been uploading?
And the umbrella caused Sho to comment softly, "Still concerned with factions even now?" The umbrella was the sign of their faction after all. But after the casinos, the strange fog, and creepy hospital- factions were the last thing on their mind. "Didn't think you were so attached."

Surprised by a sudden voice breaking the silence, she looked over her shoulder to find Sho by the doorway looking worse than ever. "Sho!" His name came out in a cry of relief. So one of them were safe! But neither Alex or October had been spotted since the grand exit at the casino.
At his words, her attention moved to the umbrella in hand, clutching the item to her chest. "I.. I'm worried I won't see some people again.." She admitted, scratching lightly at her arm. God, was there something in this hospital causing irritation to the skin or something?

Something shifted in the shadows of the room as it was occupied; and then a figure was rising from the depths of them. Its movements were slow and slogging, as though even just walking was difficult for it, arms draping long at its sides, too long, melting away into pools of black.
"You....shouldn't have...stopped me..." It whispered, and its voice was grating, but strangely familiar, warped around the edges like a radio going in and out of tune. "You...should...have...listened to me..."

If it were Alex or Rook, they might have let out a scream. An extremely girly scream. But Sho's face drained of blood entirely, turning white.
WHAT THE ******** WAS THAT? It was creepy, really, really, creepy. That wasn't even an undying -- and he recalled Alex and Brie's former encounter with the eye. He was pretty sure that he just beat Alex in encounters.. What did he and Brie even stumble into..? He had just been looking for a place to rest, if it was only briefly. But he hadn't been expecting to be that short.
And what was it saying? Like it was their fault? Calling over to Brie, "We didn't stop it, did we?" Could it be referring to the stopped upload? Was that thing formerly human? Or was it a part of something else..?!
With his knife, his body stood up to face the enemy-- his tiredness wasn't even going to be an issue anymore if he wanted to survive.
Movement caught her eye, while her full attention was now on the shadow like creature approaching them. "Wha-what is-"
"You....shouldn't have...stopped me...You...should...have...listened to me..."
Shaking, Brie clutched the umbrella a little tighter. Whatever it was, its words and somewhat familiar appearance were enough to make her face drain of colour. "W-who..?" Did they know them?
Snapping out of it when Sho called to her, her head shook. "I-I don't know!" But that wasn't true. Somehow, she felt as though she knew exactly what it was talking about.
Unsure of what to do, the umbrella in hand was swung in the direction of the creature.

The creature reached out a trembling hand to the pair of them, swinging it around in a slow, unsteady gesture.
"You...should...have...listened...to me..." he - it - they - mumbled, and then it was gone, just as slowly as it had come, melting back into the shadows.

As it disappeared, Sho watched in shock. It had the power to kill the both of them, quite easily. Yet it hadn't been out to kill them. The way it had reached out to them-- like it had known them? Like it had sincerely been worried about them? After all, why would you take care to warn people that you didn't care about? But it could have been a trick.... yet the doctor couldn't shake off this unknown feeling of apprehension.
These facts led Sho to a conclusion he didn't want to consider. The fact it might have been somebody both of them had known- caused Sho's eyes to widen, calculating who it could have been. There were too many possibilities, and no way of telling who was safe or not. Who had succumbed to the insanity that surrounded them? In this environment, it was all too easy..!
"DAMN IT!" A fist slammed into the ground, with Sho having fallen to his knees in what looked like near-despair. Why couldn't he figure it out?! What should they have listened to? What had they stopped? And would it lead to their inevitable end? Had it been staring them in the face, yet they couldn't understand?
Brie watched in disbelief, feeling a large amount of guilt swarm over her when she hit them. As it left, she held the umbrella in hand even tighter, shaking her head. "No..I..what have I done?" Was that-? could it have been-? It didn't look like him, but a the same time she had this horrible feeling tearing her up inside. If there was a small chance that it was October.. did she just hit him?
Jumping when the doctor swore, something in which she had never heard him do before, Brie slowly made her way over to the man. "Are.. are you okay?" Jeez.. even that question sounded ridiculous to her. How could they be okay?
