OOC: SCENARIO 3 Scenario requirements: Your character turns the corner and is suddenly greeted by an apparition of character of your choice, from either this meta OR from before it in their lives that was important to them. That character begins to talk to them, as if they were that person (just rp it out yourself for that part, as this is what your character THINKS is that character). Your character is CONVINCED that this is this person, and they are alive. The apparition begins to accuse your character of things. They could be anywhere from "why are you making these choices" to "you did __ wrong". You feel paranoia and regret. If you are rping with multiple characters, for this part, you CANNOT see anything other than the apparition. The more they talk, the more the apparition's face, and body begins to rot, as if rapidly going through the stages of the infection. At the very end, you are left talking to an Infected version of the apparition, before it dissolves away. Their accusations never leave you When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter. He was walking along the empty corridors of the hospital – imagining that he had found refuge from the dangers of the fog outside, yet it seemed that the insides of the hospital held a more dangerous air. Touching the walls lightly – a familiar sight – yet the startling abrupt change between his memories of the pristine and clean building contrasted with the horrific and broken building now caused Sho to sigh.
And then there were seemingly footsteps behind Sho. When he turned around, he was greeted by someone whom he never thought to see again. "Sakura.." He finally managed to say. She was his nurse, whom always had his trust when she helped to attend to his surgeries. She was dependable, reliable, and completely devoted to her job. It was impossible for her to be here.. she would have been dead, or infected. Yet her appearance was as if the event had never happened. Was it possible that she had survived somehow? Sho's mind reeled against the possibility, but something inside of him was convinced. "Did you have fun leaving me here? To possible die in a place that you knew was done for?"
"How did you survive then?"
"No thanks to you."
That was very true. Sho hadn't gone back. He had been away from the hospital when the outbreak started, and to preserve his own life – he knew he couldn't come back. Not when it would be futile, when he would just end up succumbing to a worthless death. And yet, it defied the meaning of his becoming a doctor. "You made the wrong choice." She took another step towards him. "You should have come back to save me, at the very least.
"Don't be an idiot." Sho managed a condescending look, "If you knew anything about me, darling, you know that I wouldn't have come back to die in a worthless heroic attempt." He didn't regret his survival, but the marginal guilt that had existed was welling inside of him at her appearance. The dark parts of his heart being forced up to the surface.
"Besides, aren't you alive?"
"We could have run away together." Her arms extended out to him. The more that she spoke, the more her image deteriorated. She was less and less human, and more infected. H-how could that be? Until her image faded away, Sho left feeling sickened. What had he been talking to? Why had he been so convinced that it was her? Was he succumbing to the insanity around them?
Muttering to himself, her words never left his mind: "You were precious, sweetheart, but not enough for me to risk my life." Those words had been true back then, but as for now.. was that how he felt about his current comrades?
