Cecil made his way from the dark roulette room, his hand against his side trying to slow the bleeding. He had called his friend on the radio and through all the laughter he probably had coming he knew help was on the way. It was rather silly that he had managed to shoot himself. He had even tried to aim at the floor!
With a groan Cecil stepped aside and took a seat where he was out of the way letting his head rest against the back of some random casino machine. What a day.

Having just switched off her radio, Brie managed to find her way to Cecil before Rook had, carrying the bandages in hand. Approaching the taller man, the needed item was waved as she greeted him.
"How on earth did you manage to shoot yourself?" She asked, still trying to mask the amusement on her face. "Where did you even get a gun?" Of course, this was before Brie even knew that they were actually holding a game of Russian Roulette. Luckily, she hadn't made the mistake of walking into that room yet.

Thanks to the time in between getting from here to there and seriousness of the situation, Rook had mostly managed to school his features into a somewhat more serious expression. Which of course, cracked the instant he actually saw Cecil.
There was a loud snort of laughter as he doubled over, clutching his sides. "Dude, I just left you, how did you even--" Any further attempt to speak was broken off by laughter.

Trying to steady out his breathing Cecil was doing his best to focus beyond the pain. He had never been shot before and he definitely didn't recommend it as a character building experience.
His eyes were closed by the time Brie arrived but he opened them as soon as she spoke, his smile awkward but at least still in place. "By luck I guess." His free hand lifted to gesture toward the dark room.
"Avoid the room. I wasn't sure what it was until it was too late. I didn't want to shoot anyone so I tried to aim for the floor..." He pulled his hand away from his side where the bullet had bounced back and hit him in an upward angle. There was blood everywhere, his hand had done little to slow it down. "Obviously my aim is better than I thought. I still managed to hit something."
His attention turned to Rook the moment he arrived and he let out another groan. "Come on man, cut me some slack. I was trying not to hit anyone. Have pity on the wounded."

Looking past Cecil to get a look a the room behind him, her smile faded, wondering how many people were unknowingly going in and getting shot up.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have laughed. I'm glad you tried to avoid hurting anyone else though, its just too bad you got injured. Here, let me look at it." She was no doctor, but she had patched people up before. If the bullet exited, she should be able to patch him up without assistance, but if it was still lodged inside him, they would likely need a surgeon, or someone who had actually done so to get it out.
Grimacing, she leaned back, sighing deeply. "Well.. the good news is: you'll live. The bad news: the bullet is still inside, and we're going to need someone to get it out. I have a friend who's a doctor, you met him. We could try calling him over." Much to Rook's delight. Though, she was unaware that Rook had already made a call to another of their faction.
"I can at least clean up around the wound until we get someone over here." That said, she proceeded to pull out some alcohol from her bag, and pouring a little bit on a torn piece of clothing she ripped from one of her items.

"You need to relearn the definition of luck, man." He wiped a tear from his eye, having mostly got his laughter under control. Humor factor aside, Cecil really had done a number on himself and wasn't looking too good.
Though, at the mention of the doctor, Rook violently shook his head at Cecil, mouthing 'no,' from behind Brie. To put it bluntly, the doctor she spoke of was a sadist. He would probably hurt Cecil deliberately during the process of helping him, just for kicks. "I uhh, called for Charlie on the radio. Lets see if he answers first, if not, you can try your uhh... Doctor friend... yeah..."
Rook had no idea what room Cecil spoke of but he was mildly curious. Not enough to explore it himself, mind. He had had enough of his curiosity getting him into trouble for one night. But he would like to know more details. "Aww count on you to helping others even in a situation like that, yah big softie." He grinned at he man, patting him lightly on the head. "So what happened, bullet ricochet or something?" He asked, coming to crouch down beside the two of them.

Taking in a few deep breaths Cecil pulled his hand away to allow Brie to examine the wound. As it would stand there was only one wound, the entry wound, and no exit wound to speak of. He tried not to grimace at the news.
"Oh, you have a doctor friend? That would be..." He caught Rook's mouthed word and back peddled a little. "Be...uhh..Unnecessary." He nodded slowly thankful Rook was able to supply an alternative. "Right Charlie. Wait Charlie?" Charlie knew medicine? Or was he just calling Charlie because he was in charge. No matter, the situation would be addressed one way or another he supposed.
"Yes, I shot the floor and it bounced back. And if its not to much to ask....can we keep it between us and those who managed to hear me on the radio that I shot myself." He tried to shift into a more comfortable position but really comfort was not a thing.
But then his attention was fully and completely focused on what Brie was doing. He could smell the alcohol and he watched her pour it on a bit of cloth. With his brows furrowed forward he cringed. "Do we have to?"

Charlie of course had heard the call, or at least some of it. One of the Radio people who heard ended up finding him and telling him that someone was hurt.
Approaching the scene he recognized two of the people present immediately, the third was a mystery. "Cecil, man i just left you alone for five minutes..." He had played blackjack with him what felt like minutes prior, either way he glanced briefly and nodded Towards Rook - the woman who seemed to be cleaning the wound only received a quicker nod. Charlie gave Cecil a quick once over, being a gentle with his touch as possible, and winced. Honestly the 'how' or 'why' didn't matter much at this point- what mattered more was there was no exit wound. "Ok i'm going to be straight with you No sugar coating." He folded his arms across his chest and looked down at the wounded man. "I was attending the University to get my doctorate in sports medicine. I am not certified,so technically i am not a real doctor. I did attend a special high school which had a medical program to prep us for medical degrees, so i do know some of what i am doing." Why was he telling Cecil this? Because....frankly he wasn't going to like the next part.
"We are going to have to dig the slug out." He would understand if Cecil demanded a real doctor - there might be one around.

Oblivious to Rook's warning's about her friend the good doctor, Brie only nodded when Cecil declined the offer. Whether or not he wanted a professional here or not was his choice. Though, one way or another, his wound needed to be tended.
Whoever Charlie was, he sounded like someone who would know how to handle this situation, and she would gladly allow him to take over when he arrived. "Afraid so. You don't want it to get infected, do you? That could kill you as sure as any bullet." For such a big guy, he didn't look to have that high of a pain tolerance. Guess you couldn't judge a book by its cover.
If there were any further protests, she ignored them, only stopping and moving out of the way when another man stepped in to take a look. "Charlie, I assume?" Though, Introductions could come later.
"Hmm~ Well, that's more experience then I've had, so its your call on how we do this." Offering Cecil an apologetic look, she stood off to the side, waiting and watching.

Rook was more than relieved that Cecil took the warning and decided against calling the doctor and pleased that he didn't alert Brie as to why. He had no idea what her relationship was with the doctor and if he had just wronged him by choosing against calling him.
"Yeah! Charlie can patch you up real good." He assured the taller man. "And of course, we won't tell anyone, right Brie?" He gave her a sweet natured smile, which said just the opposite. In fact, the second Charlie did show up, Rook had a great big smile on his face and stated-- "Cecil shot himself."

Brie only received a stiff shake of his head. No he didn't want it to get infected but did he want to chance it? Maybe. The moment the alcohol hit the wound he wished he would have. He hissed through his teeth, wincing but mostly trying to stay still. "<********>" He took a deep breath, riding out the discomfort as she continued to work but there was a sudden realization with what he said and it showed. "S-sorry, Brie. I don't mean to c-OW curse." But thankfully Charlie had arrived though the relief that came with it was short lived.
There was a long exasperated sigh as Cecil turned his gaze up at Rook. "Thanks, Bud. Knew I could count on you." He gave him a thumbs up with his free hand before letting it drop back down to his side. Just one favor, it was all he asked.
Gaze turning to Charlie he gave the man an awkward smile. "Well, you know me I like to party." He tried to sit up a bit more but when that proved painful he stayed where he was. Yep, this was fine. Just fine.
Listening to Charlie intently Cecil couldn't help his mouth drawing into a tight line. There was hesitation as he looked between the three around him in turn and then back to their assistant leader. "You...could have sugar coated it a little bit."

"Yes." He nodded towards Brie, someone he had to assume was a different faction due to her lack of wearing their Jerseys. "And you are?" Normally introductions would be left for later, but if he needed help he needed to know what to call the woman.
Though that question was answered a second later, Rook seemed to know the woman. That was enough to earn a frown from Charlie towards the orange haired boy- did they just meet?
"Gotta say Cecil, if this is your idea of partying i would stop asap. Both for your sake, and from a doctors standpoint." That was followed by a shrug. "I'm not exactly known to sugarcoat things." He flicked his eyes to Rook, hoping he would at least confirm his words. "In the end it's up to you. Either i can perform the extraction, or you can sit here and stain the rug while we try and find another doctor."

"No need to apologize. Swear all you want, its not like I haven't heard the words before." She answered, patting him lightly on the arm. "Besides, if that was enough to make you curse, then I reckon you'll be making sailors blush from the swears that will come when removing this damn thing.."
Brie gave Rook a look which clearly read 'and you wonder why people don't like you?' when he ratted out Cecil. "Really? Really?" Shaking her head, her attention was directed back to Charlie. "
Before she had, had the chance to introduce herself, Rook had already blurted out her name when snitching on Cecil. "As he said, I'm Brie. I'm from the apartment factions. The three of us already met once before, and after hearing Cecil had been injured, I figured he could use the bandages I had more than I did." Besides, even though they were of different factions, they had grown on her. She didn't want them to die off. Least of all from an accidental self injury.
Staring at Charlie, she couldn't help but notice that he.. kind of stood out a bit. Meaning the hoodie her wore. "You uh.. have an interesting style."

Rook responded to Cecil with an enthusiastic thumbs up, before flashing a look at Brie that said, 'it was too good to pass up.'
"Oh! That's right. You two haven't met have you?" He motioned between both Charlie and Brie. "Charlie this is Briehe--Brie. Brie, this is Charlie. Charlie is one of our leaders and one of the reasons why we're still alive. He also patches us up when we foolishly shoot ourselves." The last part was said with an amused look that was directed right at Cecil. Who by now probably just wanted the bullet out.
"Erm yeah, sorry big guy, Charlie gives it to you straight. But at least he's honest right? Its not like he said your bleeding out, or could die, or--"

"I try not to," Cecil said in response to Brie. "Mostly cursing just feels awkward." But at that moment it had felt like the right thing to say. "Don't pay attention to Rook, that's just part of his charm." Or at least the charm Cecil had become accustomed to.
Shifting his head toward Charlie he smiled. "Oh I wouldn't want to stain the fancy carpet now would I." He tried to chuckle, try being the key word since it ended in a pained groan a groan that only grew more aggravated the longer Rook spoke. "Alright, I get it. I'm not dying but I guess I don't have a lot of options. I hope you're up to playing doctor, Charlie horse because this is a doozy." It was possible he was getting a little delirious from the loss of blood because his need to become chatty was rising and it wasn't the most sensible thoughts that were rising to the surface.
"Haha..Charlie Horse. We're on a bridge Chaaarlie."
