Anya looked around and figured that maybe it'd just be best if she stuck with these two for now. It'd be nice to not slink around alone for once! Even if the chance of discovery was higher; but then there'd be back up for fights anyways....

Kelly adjusted her spare arm, and looked around as she pondered. Her head wasn't as fuzzy, and she was feeling the rush, so why not. She shrugged a bit and nodded.
"I'd rather do it with you two anyway, seems we work well together."

Austin nodded as he followed after the girl's, eyes flicking from one to the other in an assessing sort of way -- and, after a moment, he licked his lips, worked his mouth carefully.
"Austin Elswood." It was muffled, like he had a mouth full of marbles, and it hurt, but he tapped on his sternum once to make sure it was clear he meant himself, #33. Then he paused, blinking, and pointed behind Kelly toward the monster, easing back into a ready pose.

Anya flinched as she heard shuffling coming from behind her and whirled to face another infected... Kelly had said this place was clear? Not anymore it seemed! This one looked... healthier? Maybe not as rotted as the last one... sturdier to her. She readied her dagger and braced herself as it pounced.
Kelly eyed Austin before sending him a bit of a concerned frown, wishing she could do more to help. She just nodded and spun back, moving to his side as she watched the mob move closer. This one looked different, but as she lit the candle again she approached it the same way.
Unfortunately, it seemed to hit harder as well.

It seemed to Austin like using a candle as a weapon wasn't exactly the greatest move. The idea that you could actually set a creature on fire with a swipe --
And then the girl did. A miracle. It made him blink, in surprise, and made his own blow [glancing off the creature's shoulder] seem pitiful in comparison.

Again, Austin dug for that smile -- the most charm he could manage with his mouth about glued shut and bruising marring his face -- and shrugged at Kelly. He scraped fair hair back out of his face, and looked questioningly to Anya as he cleared his throat, worked out just a few words.
"More's good." He sounded like an idiot, he thought. Well, this was the apocalypse.
Anya was a bit leery going looking for trouble. If you went looking for trouble eventually trouble you couldn't handle would find you. But .. she'd finally found some people to wander with in this stupid danger zone! And if she had to wander.. best she wander with others right?
"Dun mind a bit longer...." She said as she cleaned her little knife off.
Kelly moved away from the body and nodded to the two, looking at Austin again with a bit of a grimace.
"Look, you don't need to talk if you cant...I'm sure we can figure a way to communicate?" Actually, it seemed way too painful for him to move his jaw, and she didn't want him to keep agitating it when they didn't need to use words.
"If you need me, you have my permission to grab my arm or pull me out of the way. Just don't be surprised if I jump a bit...alright?"
