Quite frankly Rajni didn't know why they were being sent out to kill undying. The harbingers were the ones with the big guns. Even if the reason was so the apartments people could thin the numbers first, if any of the apartment people died it just meant more zombies.
Dumb harbingers.
She gave a sideye (literally eye since the other one was swollen, black and hard to see out of) to the person she was with. Broken arm. Great, a liability.

She nodded. At least he wasn't going to be whiny about it. Rajni could respect someone who could take care of themselves.
"s**t," she muttered as they happened upon a petrified undead. These things sucked because they were never really gone. They died and disappeared, but they always came back. ******** ran into a nearby building for cover for a moment; oddly enough there was a candlestick on the table. It was better than nothing, which was what she currently had.
Rajni grabbed the candlestick and darted out of the building again, whacking the zombie across the face. Blunt and unsatisfying, but doing damage (maybe?).
Michael looked around for something. Anything he could use. He found a rock. Picking it up, he soon hurled it at the creature with his left hand. The undying let out a shriek.
"s**t. I think I just pissed it off."
HP: 47 Damage: 1 Undying: 5

Honestly? Letting the guy play flag with his broken arm (while selfish) was kind of where she wanted to be. Better him than her.
(She would try to get them both out, but you know how the saying went with zombies- you didn't need to be strong, you just had to trip someone and run faster).
At the very least she was still fighting for now. The candlestick seemed to be pretty effective.
Michael winced as the creature pushed him back. He grabbed another rock, then chucked that too. It sailed past its head.
"C-come on you ugly son of a b***h. You want some crippled meat? Well come get it!"
Distraction tactics.

Rajni had to smirk at the taunts. At least someone still had a bit of fight left in them. Rajni sometimes wondered if she approached it with more hutzpah if this apocalypse might not be so horrible.
Thankfully her attack smashed into its backside and crunched it inwards. It dissipated and they were left to silence.
