She didn't know just HOW she was going to fight a zombie with just one arm, but she would sure try! She had her fellow mall rats with her after all! Leiah grinned at Lissa and Dasz, thinking that zombie hunting would be as simple as just walking out into the open and shouting COME AT ME BRUH!

Lissa didn't like the state of things. Because the Harbingers supposedly had some magical weapon, they had to do some sort of song and dance in the form of personal favors, in the hope that at the end of the day they would be thrown a bone for all of the hard work done at some base other than their own. She'd rather be barricading her glittery blanket fort than doing grunt work that she would never reap the benefit for, but it was for the good of the group, which was coincidentally the only thing keeping her alive. For now, she patrolled with these kids, eyes scanning for targets of their premeditated lunacy. Once she had done that quota, though...well, there was a secret stash that merited a little investigating.
As far as she saw, though, there was nothing out on the open wasteland, as safe as she might have been indoors. She turned to Leiah with a lopsided shrug, then motioned toward some empty buildings, which were likely to be a little more action-packed.
Man, this broken-jaw thing was really cramping her style. She hadn't been this quiet since the Outbreak started.

Lissa's eyes widened as she saw movement in the distance. "Mrrf," she grunted through the swelling in her cheeks, pointing at the thorn-covered monstrositiy. Maybe this was why the area was otherwise so quiet--even if she was undead, Lissa wouldn't have wanted to hang around that. Still, it had already taken notice of them, and they needed that arm to prove that they were badasses or something. Lissa's mangled mouth set into as grim a line as it could manage, and it motioned for the others to move in forward. She herself bolted for the thing, hoping to surprise it with a punch.

"Aw, ********, nah. Aw, ********." Dazs danced from foot to foot, debating on running away or not. But then one of the girls ran at it and he couldn't just let the girls fight it, now could he? He cursed again, pushed up his glasses, and flung himself at the thing. Dazs grabbed handfuls of the roots and plants growing out of it and yanked.
A moment later, he dropped them to clutch his ribs.

"Yisssssssss," Lissa hissed, feeling the strength of her punch connect. The thorns and brambles tore at her skin, but she could already see where the shadows were beginning to fade. She stared up into its brilliant green eyes and went for another punch, ready to put this thing out of its misery. She felt her fist hit flesh again, and her eyes narrowed as she grimaced her way to a grin.
"Fugg offf!" she roared, and the thing began to melt and dissipate. Lissa reached for a chunk of the thorns and stepped down on the decaying creature, ripping off whatever she could with a crunch. Score one for the good guys, just this once.
