On top of her head, there sat a red, white, and black pirate hat. It had a red ribbon with a skull at its center that had eyes in the shape of hearts. The silver pirate key pendant around her neck hung on a long chain necklace. The pendant itself had a prominent red gem. She basically added these two items to her usual attire when headed to have fun at a beach, though still undecided whether she will actually swim, just get her feet wet, or stay dry. And her choice of footwear to go with the rest of her ensemble were a pair of red sandals.

Breath in. Breath out. Elysha was in the process of bracing herself and calling forth memories and capabilities from past practices and participation in oratorical events. Do not be afraid. She repeated that immediately previous statement multiple times as she opened the door of the Krispy Kreme establishment, walked up to stop and wait in line, and while she took the remaining steps to the counter of the cashier and selection area to have her turn at flourishing her festive spirit.

"Ahem," came before that final step and then she paused after her endeavor at getting into character. "Shiver me timbers, I am in dire need of sustenance, mate," she caught her pirate key pendant in one hand, halting its swing on with her long necklace for a second, before letting it go again. Was this pirate talk so far? Well, she decidedly put her foot down in her mind and continued her largely impromptu act following the cashier's pirate speak asking her about details on what she had in mind for her visit here today.

"Arr, well, mate, ye see, I am here to request that ye share with me a portion of your edible loot," and after this she paused as part of the response she received was a hearty laugh. Was she blushing? Can she blush? Was that warmth of her face that she was feeling from embarrassment to some degree? Well, she had not had any sort of pirate rum beforehand so that explanation went overboard.

She stared at her sandals for a few beats of time and a thought of the beach party she was headed to after picking up some donuts to contribute crossed her mind as she waited for them as they were prepared. She watched as the preparations of them were finalized and one arm lifted as though checking to feel if her pirate hat had not fallen off for the rest of the duration of time left while she was waiting.

"Thank ye, mate," she beamed before she and the edible loot she was given exited at last. It had been quick yet taken an eternity at the same time it felt like. And now, she settled the donuts in the passenger seat beside her and was ready to proceed to her destination. Also, the next thing to cross her mind was that perhaps this would more specifically be a beach donut party that she was on her way to attending.
